Subject: Senior Pen Pal Assignment
I’m trying to be reasonable here, but it’s been a week. An entire five-day school week, and still no response from you. Two days ago, I told you I needed this to get into my dream school, and I’m not afraid to tell you again.
This grade means everything to me if I have any hope of getting into my chosen college.
I’d go to my teacher, but I’m afraid that, if I do, you’ll get in trouble as well.
I’m trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but it’s hard when you’ve given me nothing to go on.
All I can assume right now is that you simply don’t care.
If I don’t hear from you by next Monday, I’ll go to my teacher and ask for a different partner. I’m sorry if that hurts you in the end, but I won’t let you drag me down because you’re too lazy to respond.
