Chapter 30 Take Him Away
I didn't know how long it had been when a knock sounded outside the door.
Right after that, two tall men in black suits walked in.
"Take him."
Ji Yanli gave the order. There wasn't a ripple in his voice.
I curled up on the bed and wrapped the quilt around my body.
"Get lost. I'm not going anywhere."
Ji Yanli walked to the bedside, then bent a little, dropped his voice to a volume only the two of us could hear, and said:
"Either put your clothes on and go with them.
"Or... we go another round. A thorough one."
This lunatic!
I stared him down, teeth grinding until they clicked. Humiliation and rage were almost swallowing me.
But I knew he would do what he said.
