TRACK 15

TOMORROW TOO

DAV EN

It's crazy to me how much things have changed in the past couple months.

Mostly all because of Lizzy. Our comeback was all normal stuff that we've done for years.

Recording in the studio. Dance practice day after day.

Photo shoots between all of it. All while pumping our fans up for the new stuff.

Not to mention we came right off of solo schedules right before.

Every bit of it as normal as it's been for years. She's the catalyst.

I've never once questioned Kyung in the decade that I've been friends with him.

We all know he's probably the smartest out of all of us, except maybe Seong Su.

So when he makes a suggestion, we tend to listen.

Not going to say that him keeping the secret of dating a beautiful woman a secret didn't come as a surprise, but I rolled with it like I always do.

Made it better that I could feel it, too.

From that very first moment, even when she thought I was a dog.

I snort softly, thinking about it. Some of the people in the room we're sitting in turn to look at me, probably trying to figure out what I'm laughing at like they normally do.

Since I'm not even holding my phone, they all give me a variety of odd expressions before quickly averting their eyes.

None of my members even notice except Yoon Ji.

His head turns to me. Doing the same, we share a secret smile, and I know that he knows where my mind is.

In Se spots us from where he's sitting across the room and includes himself, smiling at us. He would. He'd inadvertently helped her the other day learn all our favorite foods. She had made them from scratch and had it all waiting on us when we got home.

We’d gotten home early to find the house smelling delicious and food laid out pretty much everywhere.

Confident that we weren't going to be home for a while, she was relaxing in the pool.

In Se had stripped down to practically nothing and jumped in to swim to her.

She'd tossed the book she was reading off to the side so it didn't get wet as he climbed on her float.

They'd lain out there for an hour or more talking as we brought our food out to the patio to eat.

He's been hard to detach from her ever since.

The rest of us aren't much better, honestly.

I'm looking down at my phone on the ride home, not really seeing the words from an email when Yeon softly asks us, "Do you think Liz would stay with me tonight?"

His question pulls us all out of our own musings and into the group.

Not that I've done a lot of thinking on it or anything, but the thought has kind of crossed my mind about who Lizzy has and hasn't been intimate with yet.

Not like it bothers me, obviously. It was just a fleeting thought the other day as I watched her float around the pool while talking to In Se.

That was no secret. I'd curiously asked, and the man had no problem whatsoever talking about it.

The others are giving Yeon reassurances until I can't anymore. "Give her flowers."

They all go quiet and look at me as Yeon questions, "Flowers?"

"Yeah," I tell him. "I send them to her all the time. She loves them. The yellow ones are her favorite. Just not the ones with the brown in the middle. She likes to smell them and those are fuzzy."

The others laugh, but this makes Kyung swing his gaze my way, smiling. "I didn't know you did that."

"Mmm," I say.

"That's really sweet," he says.

"So, quick stop by the market then," Seong Su announces, making sure our driver hears him.

When we get home, Lizzy is standing, leaning over on the counter with her chin propped in her hand while she watches a k drama on the small tv against the wall.

She says it used to be one of her and her omma's guilty pleasures.

Personally, I think they're a little too daytime tv, but I've sat down and done a binge with her more than once.

Even if I'm not really paying attention sometimes, it's nice having her lay against me and enjoy my company for just me.

Kyung was definitely on to something with what he said at the beginning.

I didn't realize that I was even missing it until it got brought to the forefront in my mind.

"Hi," she greets us all with a smile before her gaze turns back to the tv.

The same one Jae-un decides to block as soon as she laughs at the actor on the screen. He's such an idiot. I roll my eyes scoffing at him as he tells her, "Nuh uh. You shouldn't be smiling at any other idols like that."

She rolls her eyes with me and pauses the show about the time I link my arm around Jae-un's neck and pull him to the side out of her way.

I drag him all the way to the side of the kitchen as the others take turns hugging her or dropping a kiss on her cheek.

Yeon goes last, pulling the flowers out from behind his back.

Yeah, it's been our thing, but I don't mind sharing it with him.

Especially, as I get to see her whole face light up.

I don't always get to witness it firsthand, because I randomly have them sent to her sometimes.

"Thank you," she says, wrapping her arms around his waist.

He hugs her tight around the shoulders like it's the first time, even though I've seen them hug plenty of times.

In Se moves around to the other side, grabbing a vase out from under the sink and filling it with water.

She thanks him with a quick kiss on the cheek as she puts the flowers in it, smiling again at her gift.

Glancing back at Yeon, she tells him, "They're so pretty."

"Not as pretty as you," he tells her quietly, making her blush.

My arms are still wrapped around Jae-un, so I squeeze him tightly in a hug until he taps out.

He mutters something as I release him with a grin.

It's what he gets for messing with our girl.

Taking the seat next to Kyung as some of the others leave the room, I catch the end of Yeon asking her if she wanted to stay in his room tonight.

"Sure," she says with a soft smile.

The moment has the chance to get awkward, but it doesn't. Mainly because Yoon Ji pokes his head around the corner. "Can we figure out what we're doing for dinner, too, please?"

All of us left in the room laugh. Yeon and Liz look back at each other as she asks him, "Want to help me cook?"

"Mmm," he replies. "I'm going to go wash up first."

He turns to walk away, but moves back, dropping a kiss on her cheek. She watches him leave the room, and I can only hope that's the way she looks at me, too when I'm not paying attention. Her expression is this soft happiness. Even as she checks out his body.

As he rounds the corner, she looks back down at the flowers and smiles.

After dinner as it starts getting later, we all eventually separate to go do our own things before bed. I'd planned on doing a fan live tonight, but I get to the space between mine and Kyung's room and see that he and Jae-un are sitting at his desk.

"What are you guys doing?" I ask, walking in and peeking over his shoulder.

"Showing Jae-un what he needs to do if he wants to level up," Kyung explains, clicking around with his mouse on the computer on the game they like playing.

"Not going to help if he just naturally sucks," I tease, jumping out of the way of his arm that swings out.

I trip over my foot, but manage not to fall. Pretending I did it on purpose, I walk the few extra steps to Kyung's bed and sit at the foot, pushing my back against the wall and letting my feet dangle off the side.

"I still owe you one for choking me," Jae-un threatens.

I laugh, taking out my phone. "I don't know what you mean. I was just giving you a hug."

Kyung is cackling as Yeon walks in. He comes in and sits down on the edge of the bed next to me.

Jae-un leans back in his chair as he asks him, "You good, bro?"

Yeon crosses his arms in his lap. He softly starts, "I don't want to be presumptuous about tonight, but just in case."

Kyung's mouse stops clicking as he turns around to face us and gives one of our older members his attention. "You put what I gave you somewhere, yeah?"

"Yes," he replies. "It's not that, though. I don't know what I'm doing. I've never gone all the way with a girl before."

He leaves the sentence floating out there in the room for us to interpret however we see fit.

Practically everything is out in the open for us with each other.

It has been for years, but we all still harbor our own secrets.

I can't recall even once any of us talking about our sexuality or the people we've slept with.

Since this is new territory for me, I keep my mouth shut and let the other two decide how they want to answer.

Neither of them laugh or tease him for it.

I, for one, know it took a lot of courage to come in here and ask.

My members are my safe space, but I think I still might feel a little embarrassed myself having to.

It goes to show just how deeply he's caught feelings for Lizzy. I would've done it for her, too.

Where neither laughed, they don't ask questions either.

Kyung asks, "Where is Liz right now?"

"In the pool," he answers. "Said she was going to swim a few laps and take a shower."

Jae-un simply states, "Don't overthink it. Just let things happen as they’re supposed to."

"Should I just tell her if it does come to that?" he asks.

Kyung bites his bottom lip before answering, "You could. She wouldn't judge you for it."

"What if I mess something up?" Yeon murmurs quietly.

"You won't," I tell him, breaking my silence because I'm feeling his worry in my own gut. "You couldn't with her, hyung. You'll see. You know how she fits like she's been here with us since the beginning? It's the same feeling."

He stands to leave. "Okay, thanks."

"We expect a full report in the morning for our advice services," Jae-un tells him.

I can't help the laugh that slips out as his expression turns to shock before he turns to him. Kyung kicks Jae-un's chair hard enough to send him soaring toward the wall. He laughs, even as he's trying to stop himself from becoming splatter paint.

"That's between you and her," Kyung reassures him. "Unless you want to share."

Yeon nods, leaving as quietly as he came.

"You're ridiculous," Kyung tells Jae-un, rolling his eyes at him and turning back to his computer.

"Come on," Jae-un argues. "It was funny. Dav En thought it was, too."

I am absolutely not facing the wrath of Kyung. "On that note, I'm going to my room. Night, guys."

"Traitor," Jae-un calls to my back, making me chuckle all the way across the hall.
