TRACK 18

LITTLE SUN

LIZ

After we've eaten, Minsul jumps up from his chair excitedly and comes around the table to take my hand. "Present time."

At this point, I'm assuming that they all got me a present of some sort, because I've caught on to their little character theme with each one.

Sure enough, when Minsul leads me into the living room, there's a sleepy-looking black bear with stars for eyes sitting on the table next to a fairly large box with a bow on top.

Minsul walks us over next to it so that we can kneel next to the table.

Now, his comment from our first dinner about his favorite animal being a black bear and the others laughing makes so much more sense now.

He doesn't wait for anyone else to come in before pushing the box in front of me.

Sharing in his excitement, I open it. I think that even if there had been a puppy inside, I would've been less surprised than I am now. My hands shake a little as I start taking the pieces out one by one, starting with the keychain versions of their GR8VITZ that are babies compared to the ones I bought. There are so many sets of little cards with my guys’ faces on them.

They're dressed in different outfits and look so much younger in some than others.

There are unopened CDs and bigger albums. My favorite has to be the rectangular box settled at the bottom.

I look at Minsul and smile. I haven't ever been to a K-Pop concert before, but I know what it is after falling down the rabbit holes when Kyung said it was okay.

Sure enough, as I open it, the GR8VITY light stick stares back at me in all its glory.

A shiny white like the stars in the night sky with an 8 symbol inside the globe that also has tiny stars on it.

Lining the bottom of the box, I lift out the last thing that is wrapped in tissue paper.

It's a navy-blue hoodie that says I heart GR8VITY with tiny white stars all over it.

My heart nor brain care that the rest of them have found their way in here with us. Having just come to the realization that I do in fact love these men, this hoodie hits a little different than it would've before. I can't help the tears when they start falling. Minsul pulls me to his side.

"I warned you," I tell him softly around sniffles as I feel another body move to my other side and take my hand.

"And I told you that I would hold you when you did," he reminds me.

They give me all the time that I need to pull myself together.

We open their albums together. They argue over who is better to bias, like I could pick a favorite between them.

They argue over who looks better in the little cards, but where they chose themselves better to bias, they always claim that one of the others takes better photos.

It's so sweet and considerate of each other that my heart swells again to the point where I think I might start crying... again.

I think Dav En notices, because he jumps to his feet and announces, "Okay. Time for my present."

Everyone but him and Minsul get up to leave the room. I look around at how quickly they cleared out and glance at Dav En with a raised eyebrow in question. The two of them laugh.

"This isn't going to make you think any different than what you're thinking," Minsul warns, slipping a dark cloth over my eyes and tying it at the back of my head.

Between the feel of his fingers trying not to tie my hair up with it, the way that they brush down my back afterward, and his soft breathing close to my ear, I feel myself blushing.

"Mmm," he murmurs quietly. "That's interesting."

He brushes a finger down my arm, making me more acutely aware of him since I can't see him.

I turn my chin his direction and wait. I feel him first. The air stirring as he leans into me.

His chest going flush against my arm. Heat from his breath against my lips.

His tongue coming out to tease my bottom one before he kisses me.

It's another level of amazing because I'm left without one of my senses and don't even know if Dav En is still standing there watching us.

Minsul finally pulls away, and I get my answer, making my heart race even faster.

"Grab her GR8VITZ, Dav," Minsul tells him before handing me what feels like my light stick. "Hold this and don't drop it."

I do as he says as he lifts me to my feet, throwing my arms over his shoulders. He bends down and lifts me up on his back, making me squeak out in surprise.

"Don't worry, little sun. I won't drop you," he says as we start to walk.

I can feel Dav En behind us, probably making sure he doesn't.

"Little sun?" I ask him.

"Yeah," he says, his voice not carrying an ounce of shame or regret. "You know, the brightest star in space that the universe revolves around. That's what you are to us."

I swallow hard to keep from crying underneath my blindfold as he starts taking the steps that lead downstairs into their dance studio and gym area.

When he finally sets me on my feet, I don't let him get too far.

Grabbing a fistful of his shirt, I pull him back to me, lifting my chin since I can't see him.

He complies, smiling against my lips as he kisses me again.

This time, I take charge, forcing my way into his mouth and leaning on him until his hands go to the back of my thighs to lift me up.

I lose myself in him. The rest of the world doesn't exist until I hear the rustle of someone's clothes close.

Dropping my face into his neck, I feel my face flame again and he laughs, setting me back on my feet. He guides me to a chair, making sure I'm sitting safely before handing me what feels like one of their animals.

"We will be right back," Dav En says right next to my face. So, it must've been him that handed me the plushie.

I sit patiently waiting with a million things running through my mind at what they're up to.

Especially since I can still hear them moving around and a whisper or two here and there.

What little light cutting through the fabric disappears and a much dimmer one shows up.

Someone surprises me as they come over to remove my blindfold.

I have to blink a few times to adjust my eyes, but when I do, my mouth pops open in surprise.

Standing in front of me is not my eight men. It's GR8VITY. They're dressed in different versions of black bottoms and white dress shirts.

Kyung wears a tight black vest over his white shirt.

In Se's shirt is halfway open, exposing a whole lot of skin.

Jae-un has a simple black sash thrown over his shoulder.

Yeon's black skinny tie cuts just short of his belt line.

Seong Su's shirt has the first few buttons undone, his black coat hanging to the back of his knees.

Yoon Ji wears a vest and a skinny tie.

Dav En's tank top underneath his open white shirt is black.

Minsul has on a normal open black coat.

I don't want to take my eyes off of them but a sparkle of silver in my lap catches my eye.

Glancing down, I find myself holding a little wolf along with my light stick.

Then the music starts, and my eyes leap back up to the eight men in front of me.

They dance and sing to eight songs. Meaning, one for each of them.

Oddly enough, I think I can pick out who chose which one, too.

Jae-un's choice is obvious, for sure. It's the same song of the video performance he turned on. When it gets to the part where they drop to their knees, I cover the little wolf pup’s eyes without thinking about it as I try to contain the excitement and other feelings coursing through my body right now.

A few of them snicker as they keep on dancing.

They pull me up during the last song to dance with them, and even if it weren't for that, I'd still be sweating like they are by the time that it's over. It's absolutely no wonder they've got as many fans as they do. I just got an entire private concert from GR8VITY.

"I'm pretty sure I'm one step away from being a fangirl at this point," I tell them breathlessly as the last song ends.

"Still not one yet?" Dav En asks, breathing hard and grinning.

"I don't know," I tease them. "I might need to see that fourth dance again."

They laugh as Dav En wraps me up into a hug. I kiss him hard before telling him, "Thank you."

His nose scrunches a bit as he looks down at me. "I'll dance for you anytime. Just say the word."

I lean back in surprise. "I didn't know that option was on the table. And now that I've seen it firsthand..."

They all laugh again.

"You guys are amazing, for real," I tell them.

Searching specifically for Kyung with my eyes.

"Doesn't change a single thing, other than I now know just how good you are at your job.

You can tell that this is your passion." The last I direct at Seong Su, who gives me one of his beautiful smiles in thanks.

More than once, I saw him going harder than everyone else like this was an actual event.

He loves their music and their group. And that makes me love him a little more.

"Thank you," I tell them as a whole.

They converge on me and Dav En for a group hug, squishing the two of us.

The big man grins down at me and kisses me right in the middle of all his members.

When everyone separates, they mumble something about going to change.

Dav En, Kyung, and Yoon Ji stay to help collect my GR8VITZ for me.

We head upstairs where I follow the three of them down to Seong Su's room.

He's left the door open, so I can see his silver fox sitting on top of his keyboard in the corner.

Dav En and Yoon Ji drop their animals in mine and Kyung's arms and walk away.

Kyung leads the way into Seong Su's room, putting his stash on the small desk in the corner, so I follow suit.

Once our arms are empty, he leans down and presses a kiss against my lips before leaving me alone and closing the door behind him.
