TRACK 18 #2
It's only a few seconds later that Seong Su steps out of his bathroom in a comfy pair of jeans and a black, light-weight long-sleeve shirt. "Sorry, didn't mean to leave you waiting."
"You didn't," I tell him.
I get that beautiful smile again. "Okay good."
Grabbing the chair from his desk, he moves it across the room next to his keyboard.
He comes back and takes my hand, guiding me over to the chair to sit down.
I glance around noticing that he's got a full sound system set up going in here, with a keyboard, a guitar, a little DJ piece of equipment, and other things that one would need to write songs.
"Is this where you write your music?" I ask curiously as he takes the keyboard seat.
"Some of it," he admits, spinning on the seat to face me instead of the keyboard.
"You love it, don't you?" I ask. "It's more than just a job to you."
He chuckles. "Am I that obvious? I've loved music since I was old enough to remember. I don't think I could picture a life without it."
"Well, you're great at it," I tell him honestly. "I bet your members and your fans would say the same."
Huffing out another small laugh, he glances down shyly before lifting his eyes back to me. "I never thought I'd find something that I cared about as much as I do them or music."
I pull my bottom lip through my teeth nervously, and he notices, smiling. He doesn't elaborate, but he honestly doesn't need to. What happens next says everything. "I wrote you a song. I've been working on it for a while now, but this gave me motivation to finish it."
Swallowing hard, I ask, "You wrote me a song?"
He nods, gently kind of shyly. "Want to hear it?"
"Please," I whisper.
He winks at me before turning back to his keyboard, and I swear I feel like I might faint in the middle of his floor.
Handing me his little fox, he gets everything set up, pushing play on one of his pieces of expensive-looking equipment.
Then he starts to sing. Part of the song is in Korean and some in English.
I understand every bit of it as he plays the keys and sings about a bright star that lights up eight lonely planets in a dark universe.
I can't stop the tears from flowing once they start.
I squeeze his fox to my chest to try and keep my heart from exploding like it feels like it wants to.
When his voice finally trails off on the last note, I'm a mess. That's how he finds me as he turns to face me.
"Aww, come here," he says, taking my hand and pulling us both to our feet, tucking me into a tight embrace.
I drop his fox so that I can hug him properly, squeezing him tight and trying not to soak his shirt with my tears. He simply presses my face into him, not caring one bit about his shirt.
"Thank you for letting us celebrate with you today," he says softly. "Thank you for bringing Kyung back to us when we were too busy to realize that he was drifting off. Thank you for coming into our lives. Thank you for letting us love you."
I'm borderline gasping for air as I tell him, "I'm never going to stop crying if you don't stop saying things like that."
He chuckles, the sound going right into my chest. "We can't have that, but I wanted you to know that I am grateful for you. For my group and for me."
Lifting my chin with his finger, he drops his lips to mine.
Not exactly how I wanted to have my first kiss with him.
My tears caught between us, but very quickly, that doesn't matter.
He's gentle but demanding, taking what he wants.
After the rollercoaster of emotions I've been on for the past two days, this is exactly what I need. Someone to take complete control.
He walks me backward to his bed, carefully getting me on my back and covering my body with his all while not breaking our kiss.
Our hands roam, exploring the other. I'm caught in the feel of his lips and tongue and the tiny gasps of air he takes when he stops breathing.
Eventually my body starts begging for more, but I don't think today is the day for us to go all the way. I think he feels the same.
However, it doesn't appear he's going to leave me wanting.
He leans off to one side, letting his hand go down to the button on my jeans.
He makes quick work of it, but drags my zipper down slowly.
Kissing me even deeper, it's hard to stay concentrated on one thing as his hand slips into my pants and underneath my panties. His fingers seem to know what they’re doing as he works me with them.
I've been so worked up, thrown from one scenario into another with the others that it doesn't take but a few minutes before I'm grasping his wrist and moaning softly into his mouth.
My body feels like a melted puddle laid out half beneath him as he removes his hand and places a few more kisses on my lips. "And just when I didn't think you could get any more beautiful."
I lift my head to capture his mouth again, and I can feel his smile against mine. "Thank you for my song and...everything else," I tell him.
"I'll end up writing you a dozen songs if you keep kissing me like that," he promises.
"What if I say I'll do it for free?" I ask.
He grins down at me. "Either way."
Rolling to the side, he adjusts himself before standing and reaching down to help me up. I want to offer to take care of him, too, but I feel like the moment has passed and would just be awkward.
"How do you feel about an early dinner?" he asks, letting me fix my pants before reaching for me again.
Considering it's been hours since we had breakfast and the adrenaline plus emotional rollercoaster, I could definitely eat. I tell him such and he chuckles. Taking us over to his desk, he gathers up the GR8VITZ from there before stopping to let me pick his fox up off the floor.
"How did you manage to carry all of these by yourself?" he asks, struggling to open the door while carrying five of them.
