5. Milo #2
Another heavy scrape came from the bedroom. Milo discarded the bottle and walked down the hall. Grievance was waiting exactly where Milo had left him, his massive body still spilling across the floor.
The forked tongue appeared again, tasting Milo’s scent on the air. He must have liked what he found, because a moment later, a steady hiss sliced the air. It didn’t come from his mouth, but somewhere deeper in his chest.
Milo’s pulse jumped, and he stopped short at the foot of the bed. Grievance watched him like a crocodile from the riverbank, waiting for a wildebeest to grow desperate enough for a drink.
Patient despite the hunger in his expression. Always waiting for Milo to choose.
Asking.
Milo drew in a breath.
He climbed onto the mattress and crawled toward the creature who was somehow both the most frightening thing he had ever willingly approached and the man he trusted more than anyone in the world.
Grievance reached for him, not with his arms, which stayed at his side, but with the looping coils of his body. They looped around Milo, creating a living cage of muscle. Yet despite their power, not a scale touched Milo’s skin. The coils remained an inch away. Waiting for permission to constrict.
Milo looked into his mate’s hungry eyes. They were different in this form, blinking with double reptilian lids. But the color—those irises.
They were the same.
They were his.
Another long hiss filled the room, dropping the temperature several degrees. Milo shivered.
He didn’t know this body. He didn’t know this creature. But he knew those eyes. He trusted those eyes.
Milo drew in a deep, steadying breath.
“I’m ready.” His body trembled as adrenaline surged through his veins. “Ravage me, monster. I’m yours.”
The coils snapped around him like a spring trap, pinning his arms to his sides before Milo could even draw breath.
The Naga slid its upper body toward Milo until they were eye to eye. Milo struggled to take a breath as the creature tilted its head, observing him with unnatural stillness. It blinked, the double lids sliding closed over its eyes in a transparent film before clearing again.
“Please don’t eat me,” Milo said, jokingly. But also—not.
The creature smirked at him. And even with a newly shaped mouth, Milo recognized the teasing tilt in that look, and his body relaxed.
“Don’t blame me for asking. You’re freaking me out a little, Grievance.”
At the sound of his name, another pleased hiss cut through the air, seeming to come from everywhere all at once. His body slid against Milo’s, as though every scale wanted the chance to touch him. It was cold and sent a shiver racing from Milo’s neck all the way to his toes.
Grievance leaned close until only a breath separated their faces. His inhales were slow, the exhales slower still. Steady. Controlled. Very different from the Kava that had him earlier. This creature was cold-blooded. Patient. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
“What will you do with me, Naga?”
He didn’t smile; Milo wasn’t sure he could with this new face, but the corners of his eyes lifted ever so slightly. As though to say,
Just wait and see.
Then the Naga opened its massive mouth, revealing rows of sharp teeth and a thick, slitted tongue.
Then his mouth opened wider, his bottom jaw seeming to disconnect and drop impossibly low.
Like a snake. Even though Milo was pretty sure that was a myth, it didn’t stop the imposing image from startling him. Milo flinched. He couldn’t help it.
Run.
Danger.
DANGER!
Milo’s body went hot as adrenaline surged through his veins, giving his muscles a burst of strength to run. To fight. To get away from what was certainly a slow, painful death.
Grievance’s tongue darted from that wide mouth, stretching longer and longer. Goosebumps erupted all over Milo’s body when that wet, split tongue found his collarbone. It traced all the way up his neck, looped around the back, and traced the opposite collarbone.
Lantern. Give me bravery. Please.
Milo said a silent prayer, hoping he could withstand what was about to come. Withstand the instinctual fear that nearly took over his body and demanded he fight back, as the Naga’s thick, wet tongue coiled around his neck and tightened.
Now his breath was constricted around his throat, as well as his crushed chest. He would very soon begin to struggle for air.
Still. He forced himself not to move.
Grievance’s head tilted, observing. His wide-open mouth was even more horrifying at an angle.
His eyes were searching. Perhaps confused.
The coils around Milo’s body tightened again, sending a ripple of fresh fear flooding to his brain.
Milo knew what he must look like. Helpless.
Wrapped up with blown pupils and pale skin.
Does… does he want me to fight?
Maybe the very thing he was suppressing was what the Naga needed. Craved.
Where is the sport in prey that has no fear for its life?
Milo kicked out, his heel finding that hard pack of muscle along Grievance’s abdomen. Instantly the hold around his neck and body loosened. Not because Milo could do any damage, but likely from surprise.
Milo yelled and fought back like a wild animal. Kicking at the thick muscle that caged him until he found a gap wide enough to dive through. He slipped free of the Naga’s hold, landing with a hard thud onto the mattress.
He was already on his knees, ready to scramble for the door when a tail coiled around his ankle, yanking him back.
“Ahh!” Milo yelled as blankets bunched around him. He clawed at the mattress, trying to find purchase, tearing his sheets as he did so.
The tail was too strong, yanking him back to the center of the bed, where rough hands grabbed him by the shoulders, forcing him onto his back.
Grievance peered down at him, his own pupils blown with desire as Milo struggled in his hold. The tail coiled up Milo’s leg until the tip of it found his erection, giving it a long, smooth stroke.
“Grievance, you son of a bitch—MHMM!”
His voice was cut off as something long, thick, and slick shoved past his teeth and into his mouth. Grievance’s tongue traced the edges of his mouth, finding his throat and pumping in and out at a quick pace. The room filled with wet, choking sounds as Milo’s throat was fucked.
“Mmm!” Milo tried to protest, pushing on Grievance’s shoulders with his hands. He might as well have been trying to push a building for all the good that it did.
That low, chest-deep hiss sounded again. Filling Milo’s ears with serpent song.
Fuck fuck fuck!
Milo was choking, his body trying to cough but too full of tongue to do it properly. Tears welled in his eyes, and when it seemed the Naga wouldn’t give him a respite, he bit down.
Hard.
The steady hissing sound hitched in surprise; Grievance’s entire body jerked as his sensitive tongue was crushed. He withdrew immediately, finally letting Milo cough.
“You—” cough “bastard,” Milo said between wet gulps of air.
Grievance pulled back that viper’s tongue, closing his massive jaws, returning to a semi-normal state. He observed Milo a moment longer before shifting his tail, still wrapped firmly around the witch’s left leg.
The tip found his erection again and fuck. Milo would never admit how good it felt. Its smooth texture was way too pleasant as it stroked him.
And then, that simple tail performed a function that, previous to that exact moment, Milo was unaware snakes (or snake-adjacent MythBeasts) could do.
The tip vibrated.
Not with large, shaky movements. But controlled, precise rapid back-and-forths. It was like a living, vibrating dildo. The buzz sent so much pleasure racing up Milo’s spine that he momentarily forgot that he was supposed to be fighting back.
“Fuuuuuck~” Milo moaned as that vibrating tail pressed against his cock harder.
It was likely the same function as rattlesnakes, but without the rattle. And holy shit, Milo would never be able to look at a reptile tail without tenting his pants.
“Fuck you for this,” Milo moaned as his body delighted in the delicious, if not unorthodox, pleasure.
The buzzing tail continued to press against his cock, pleasuring him from all angles. Slowly, it began to descend, until its vibrations were shaking Milo’s sack. His balls drew up at the contact, climax suddenly bearing down on him.
“Grieeevance,” Milo mewled. “If you— keep—going—”
He couldn’t even finish his thought, his tongue clumsy and his mouth gaping as pleasure coursed up his spine so intensely his eyes rolled.
All at once, the vibrations stopped, leaving Milo feeling the aftershocks against his skin. Milo took a moment to compose himself, swallowing hard and blinking as his climax retreated.
Oh right. I’m fighting this.
Milo kicked Grievance with all his strength. And, sure, he might have been a scrawny guy, but he was also scrappy. And he felt an immense sense of satisfaction at the oof he extracted as his kick landed square on the Naga’s chest.
Stunned, Milo slipped his leg free of the Naga’s hold and was again scrambling on his knees, reaching for the edge of the bed as though his life depended on it.
He was panting and flushed, and fuck, this was the hottest thing he’d ever—
“HCK!” Milo made a loud, horrible choking sound, his hands immediately coming up to his neck where something had wrapped around it so instantly that he didn’t have time to fight it. He blinked, and all of a sudden he was being dragged to the center of the bed by his neck.
His back was now to the Naga as he was forced onto his stomach. But from the slimy feeling now dribbling onto his chest, he knew he was being dragged around like a rag doll by his mate’s tongue.
“You monster,” he managed to choke out, voice muffled by the bedding.
A second later, two hands grabbed him by the waist, lifting him until he was propped on his knees, his upper half still being pinned down by his neck. His ass was up. Bare. Ripe for the taking. Milo’s thighs quivered from the anticipation of it.
