Ch28 Hitens Wrath

(Inuko POV)

"Come on everyone we are almost out of this accursed valley!" I shouted out, daring not to look back as I would have probably seen the still panic looks of Y/N and Kagome.

Not that I blame them.

We were possibly being chased by a now powered up and insane raijū.

When Kagome rushed up to us looking like Izanami herself was chasing her I knew something was wrong.

And I was right.

Kagome made it very clear what Hiten planned to do to her and Y/N when she caught up to us after eating her brother's heart!

The thought of that alone nearly made me sick.

I figured with that she would snap once I killed Manten, but nothing like this.

Considering that she wasn't all right in the head at the moment, arming herself with two more Shikon Jewel shards, and eating Manten's heart which according to Myōga would nearly double her power. ..

Meant that we needed to get to the well as fast as we could and pray to all the gods that Hiten wouldn't find out the well's secret.

I maybe be willing to face just about anything, but in my current condition and we she had planned for the other's, not so much.

I was not willing to face someone with great power and prestige insanity if I could, especially one who while sane killed her parents killers and had hung around their entails around their compound as a warning while they were still sane.

At least that is what Kagome said Hiten told her.

So quite frankly I was in no condition or mood to fight her.

The storm above us suddenly grew more intense, lighting started to flash wildly and the winds began to blow even harder.

Normally I would have chalked it up as the weather, but in this valley and the smell of yoki carried by the winds meant only one thing.

This was all being caused by Hiten herself.

She was generating all of this through her raw yoki alone.

"Everyone be prepared, she is here!" I growled out as Hiten's scent grew stronger.

Before anyone else could say anything else, a flash of lightning struck in front of me. It forced. me back, but soon more and more lightning strikes began to surround us. Each strike pushing all of us together.

A minute later all of us were forced back onto the ground. Y/N and Yura with their blades drawn and Kagome climbing off of my back, holding the unconscious form of Shippō in her arms as she got between the three of use.

Moments later a few lightning bolts rained around us before a large bolt of lightning crashed right in front of me followed bu a massive thunderclap!

Dear Amaterasu that hurts!

As I covered my hears in pain, I could not hear what was going on.

But I could see that thunder bitch quite clearly!

Now with two more jewel shards a top of her head, blood around her mouth, the cut I gave her still bleeding, and her eyes glowing red. The later of which highlighting the madness her eyes conveyed along with the hatred towards me.

She rushed me with her halberd and a snarl, trying to impale me with it. I raised Tessaiga to block her our weapons meets, with Hiten pushing down with her halberd.

This continued on for a moment before she looked up with a savage grin before barring her fangs at me, the inside of her mouth charging up with lightning.

I pulled Tessaiga away and barely got out of the way as she unleashed a burst of lightning from her mouth, one that I was pretty sure was similar to how Manten used it. And one I was damn sure would have taken my head if I hadn't in time.

"Damn it I missed!" Hiten cursed out, her tone of voice conveying hatred, madness, and annoyance.

"Should have known a quick death wouldn't work." She rambled on with a frown before it turned into a grin. "But I am glad it did. This way I can have a lot more fun killing you and to be honest, the idea of your corpse watching us will is actually kind of exciting!"

...I am sorry, but what did she just say?

"Do you mind repeating that?" I asked incredulously as Y/N and Kagome started to back away from Hiten in pure fear. Yura threw Benigasumi while giving the raijū bitch the most venomous glare I have ever seen.

Hiten batted it away with her halberd, a demented grin on her face.

"As I said, your corpse watching me, Kagome, and Y/N while I do what Manten had wished and reincarnated him.

Maybe even throw in Y/N's vassal as well, she does look like rather ravishing.

I will also say so do you, but that is all blown to dust by the fact you murdered my brother!

!!" Hiten said madly, getting Yura to now look about it as horrified as well.

While for myself it was more of shocked.

I expected that killing her brother would make her snap, but this was beyond what I expected.

She has become bat shit insane!

How else would you describe someone casually describing mass rape in front of someone's corpse!

"Lady Inuko!" Myoga said fearfully, and for once I do not blame him.

"I know, Y/N give us a distraction!" I shouted out at him.

"Don't need to tell me twice!" He shouted out as he created a massive burst of mist and all of us proceeded to run.

There is no way any of us were going to deal with this psycho out in the open and it was evident that she was too far gone to be reasoned with.

We needed a plan otherwise everyone here was screwed, most of them literally and I was afraid what Hiten would do with my corpse in her current state of mind.

That bitch needs to die or we were all doomed.

(Kagome POV)

Okay I can safety say it, Hiten in her current state is more horrifying then Sesshomaru ever was!

We need to either get out of here or kill her otherwise we are all going to end up at her mercy and that is what frightens me the most.

I ran through the mist hoping to caught up to either Inuko or Y/N soon.

"Found you!" Hiten said, appearing before with an excited grin.

I reacted accordingly and punched her in the face with my free arm.

As Hiten clutched her nose I took or running in the opposite direction.

Soon there was the sound of Hiten's laughter echoing through the mist followed by multiple bolts of lightning crashing all around me.

I tried to run away from them, but whenever I could more lightning would just appear and forced me back. She was leading me somewhere, that I knew. But without a bow and carrying an unconscious Shippo and his father's pelt, there was little I could do.

After about a minute of running I found a small alcove in a rock spire, big enough to fit Shippo in.

Perfect, I can leave him in there and run as Hiten was more focused on the rest of us then him.

As I ran towards the alcove, I noticed that the lighting started to stop when I reached the alcove. Meaning that this was Hiten's trap then. I turned around to run once again, only to see Hiten floating behind me holding a bloody nose.

"Nice punch there Kagome, but it is the end of the line for you right here." Hiten said gleefully before grabbing at me with her free arm and carrying me threw the air.

I tried my best not to scream at the feeling of the ground suddenly leaving my feet, clutching Shippō closer to me so that he wouldn't fall, and began to kick Hiten as hard as I could while midair.

Which didn't faze the insane raijū at all.

"Here you are, your own little seat to the death of Inuko!" Hiten declared, dumping me on top of the rock spire. "Now so they will can not hear you."

Hiten lowered her halberd and lightning began to crash all around me, creating copious amounts of thunder around me.

But none of it seemed to bother me at all. In fact it sounded more muted from where I am when I should have had problems hearing anything over the roaring thunder.

Unless...it was not possible, but considering the past week I would say that anything is possible at this point.

"You are controlling this storm aren't you?" I asked her, getting Hiten to laugh.

"That is right! Five shards and eating your brother's heart will do wonders to you, if you can move past the soul crushing guilt that is.

" Hiten said, getting the storm around her to fluctuate a bit before it continued on as normal.

"Still this kind of power most raijū spend their entire life looking for this kind of power even into adulthood.

Most learn it of course, but for a young raijū like myself, it is unheard of. "

Hiten then frowned as lightning crashed around her wildly.

"It it is all thanks to that brother killing bitch!

Sure this power is what what we have been searching for, but at what cost!

My little brother is dead and it is all thanks to that bitch Inuko!

" Hiten roared out, the lightning only getting worse.

"So I will repay her in full by killing the bitch, feasting on her entrails, reincarnated Manten in front of her corpse, gorge her eyes out, and then nailing her corpse onto the front of my home!

Showing anyone who is dumb enough to come after me again the price of crossing myself and my family! Then and only then will I forgive her!"

I knew that she would snap, but not like this.

Honestly it was disturbing considering that while she was a possible psychopath at least she seemed to hold at least some standards and composure. Now though, it was all gone.

The only things on her mind were killing Inuko, desecrating her corpse in the worst ways she could imagine, and remaking her family through any means possible including rape.

Honestly it would be sad, if she wasn't so bent on accomplishing her goals through any means necessary.

"And you plan on keeping on keeping everyone else alive until you are sure that you can bring back Manten.

I highly doubt that you can accomplish it, it took 50 years for Kikyō to reincarnate so how long do you think it will take Manten to reincarnate.

That is if he can even emerge escape from the blackest pits of Yomi for what he has done!

" I shouted out at her, my full anger on display at this entire situation and her going insane.

"More specifically what he had done on your orders! "

"Shut up!" Hiten shouted out, the storm fluctuating once again. But this time the lightning started to die down.

Unlike before when the sky lit up with lightning with her hatred.

It was almost like if her emotions were tied to storm, the lightning above representing her mental state.

So if the storm represents her emotions...then what would happen if they were pushed too hard, to the point of breaking down?

This was a risk that could get me killed and something that I wouldn't wish to do this with anyone else.

But Hiten, she deserved it and if it could provided the others with an advantage then so be it.

"You heard what I said, you actions killed Manten.

You admitted it yourself that you thought that he wasn't ready for this and still sent him out to faces us.

And how did it end, Manten was killed. Sure Inuko might have done it, but it was your choices that caused his death!

" I shouted, getting Hiten to bar her fangs at her.

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Hiten shouted out.

"Why because you can't handle the truth, the very same one that you admitted to me.

Or that you have sunk so far into your madness that you forgot all about it!

Face it Hiten, you couldn't handle the guilt and in the end you embraced the madness just so you can forget what you did!

" I shouted at her, getting Hiten to cover her ears as lightning started to flicker around her.

"Don't say it! Don't say it!" Hiten shouted out madly in an attempt to block out what I was going to say next.

Yet there was no stoping me now.

"Face it Hiten, it is your own fault that Manten died. This little plan of yours to reincarnate him, it will never work and it has turned you into a shell of your former self. You can try all you want, but Manten isn't coming back no matter and it is all your fault!" I shouted out.

Hiten removed her hands from her ears and just float there for a minute.

Before she started to laugh, a hollow maddening laugh.

Okay I did not expect this.

She continued to laugh like this, lightning flashing around her. Followed by a light shower as tears started to stream down her cheek.

Well at least that plan worked...but with her laughter I think that I might have actually made things worst.

For another minute Hiten continued to laugh like crazy, before abruptly stopping and focusing her gaze on me. The look of her face disturbed me.

Despite most of her face being covered in blood and tear soaked, the luminous blush on her face was clearly visible. Add in her wide grin and the fact her eyes were glazed over with madness and desire only made me more nervous.

"Kagome, Kagome, Kagome. Did you really mean everything you said about myself and Manten?" Hiten asked, her voice a dangerous mix of anger, desire, and madness.

"Yes." I said, preparing for whatever Hiten might have planned.

"Well thank you Kagome." Hiten said sincerely as tears started to flow down her cheeks even more and it started to rain even harder around us.

...I did not expect that.

"I suppose you were right, eating my brother's heart so close after his death was probably not the best decision.

So forget making Inuko's corpse watch, I am just going to kill her and nail her dead body to the front of my home.

..though after I carve out and eat her stomach first. Have to invoke some form of grievous payback after all. " She said matter of factly.

"I suppose." I said, unsure of how to feel at this exact moment.

"So as a thank you for my help, I will allow you and Y/N to go first then myself with you next. My love." Hiten said.

"What!?" I exclaimed, trying to make sure that I heard her right!

Did she just call me-

"My love, which I did. You fit every single criteria.

Your beautiful, strong, stubborn, kind, and your little plan showed that you can also be quite cruel and cunning.

All the best qualities I can find in a bed partner, so yes Kagome that is why I called you my love.

" Hiten said before flying over to me and clasping my hands. "So do you feel the same way?"

"I do not, nor will I ever will!" I shouted at her before planting a kick to the insane raiju's gut.

I felt terrified, disturbed, and disgusted by her actions.

Is that how Y/N has feels every time something likes this happens?

Hiten clutched her stomach for a second before bursting out into laughter, the rain around us stopping and being replaced with lightning filled skies.

"Playing hard to get then, well don't worry Kagome I will have all the time in the world to change your mind.

Cause starting tonight all of us are going to be one big family, minus Inuko of course.

I will even throw in that kitsune kit as well, Sōten will love to have a new playmate after all.

Well until it will be time for her to become an aunt.

" Hiten said dreamily before shaking her head.

"All that can wait, I have a man and his vassal to catch and a bitch to kill.

So just wait here Kagome, I will be back and the rest of our lives will begin! "

With that, Hiten disappeared in a flash of lightning.

Well this just great, my plan worked but it also backfired. Hiten seems to have gotten even more determined and possibly a little saner, but is still insane over all.

That she seems to have developed an obsession with me, which is also the worst,

I am also trapped up here with Shippo and the mist seems to be clearing up.

Y/N, Inuko seems like it is up to you two to get us out of this mess unless I could think of anything. If not, then it is all over for us.

(Y/N POV)

Seems like the rain has stopped.

I didn't mind the rain itself, but Yura had made it very vocal how much she hated getting wet. Considering she was made of hair, it made sense.

I dropped the makeshift ice umbrella that I had made and Yura let out a sigh of relief.

How she was more worried about getting wet over the fact we had an insane raijū after us that was planning on raping us is something I will never know.

Still I was worried about the sudden shifts in the weather. From the lightning blasting across the sky like crazy, to it showering and pouring, and now back to lightning blasting across the sky.

If the storm was representing Hiten's emotional state, then I would hate to have to meet her again. Sadly considering that she was hunting us, it was bound to happen.

"Master are you certain that you wish to help the girl, the kit, and the bitch? If we leave now we could probably avoid the crazy bitch." Yura said, before sighing out. "But you are probably going to confront her anyway."

"It's either that or Hiten chases us to the ends of Nippon." I said, getting her to nod.

There was also the chance that she would have chased us through the well and I doubt Tokyo would last long against an insane raiju.

"Considering her current state, I believe that is very much a possibility.

" I heard Inuko grumbled out. Turning to my side I saw a soaking wet Inuko with Myōga being nowhere in sight once again.

"She began to shake herself like a dog in order to dry off, causing me to take a few steps back in order to not get wet.

"True speaking of which, have you seen Kagome?" I asked, hoping that Hiten hadn't gotten to her.

"I have not, but I can clearly smell here and it smells like the thunder bitch has gotten to her." Inuko growled out, getting my heart to drop.

Considering Hiten's actions so far, there was no telling what she could have done to Kagome right now. Though hopefully she will be alright, she could hold here own if her encounters against Manten had shown. But Hiten was a whole other level, compared to him.

Then again she survived against Sesshōmaru as well, so I suppose this it evens out.

"Well if she did, then let's get her back." I said, kicking off my wooden sandals off and drawing Shūsui out.

"My thoughts exactly." Inuko said drawing Tessaiga out. "Still did you really need to kick your geta off?"

"Off course." I said, getting Inuko to shrug at that.

"Well if that is all, then how about we kill the thunder bitch. I am not looking forward to becoming whatever that crazy bitch has planed for me." Yura growled out, drawing out Benigasumi.

"Couldn't have agreed you more, ya hairy bitch." Inuko said as she walked forwards with myself and Yura following behind her. All three of us keeping and eye open incase Hiten decides to attack us out of the blue.

For a few minutes we followed Inuko as she tracked Kagome's scent before arriving at a rock spire with lightning flashing around the top and thunder rumbling loudly with each strike.

On top of that was Kagome with the unconscious form of Shippō.

She tried to yell something at us, but every time she did so, it would be drowned out by the sounds of thunder.

So Hiten has caught her then and used her as bait, for someone who is supposed to be mad.

"Come on out who crazy bitch!" Inuko growled out, getting Hiten's laughter to echo out through the storm.

"Oh I will, but there is something that I wish to show you!" Hiten's voice echoed out and the lightning above began to intensify.

I felt the hair on the back of my neck start to raise up.

"Master we need to get out of here!" Yura said shakily before throw some hair towards a rock spire and pulling us towards a rock spire.

A moment later a large amount of lightning began to rain down from the sky, mainly aimed at Inuko. She kept dodging out of the way of each and everyone of them.

"If this is your idea of what you wished to show me, then I am disappointed. Your aim is off." Inuko taunted, getting Hiten's laugh to echo around us.

"Oh I know, just wanted to show you that I could have ended your life anytime I had wished.

A few well placed bolts of lightning and you would have been nothing more then ashes and a memory that I would hate for the rest of my life.

With this new power I could end your life in a instant.

" Hiten said as she reappeared in a flash of lightning.

"But it would not be as satisfying as killing you myself! "

With that the lightning stoped and Yura lowered us back down to the ground, Inuko jumping right next to us.

"Sure let's go with that and not the fact that you have terrible aim." Inuko taunted, but getting the raijū to growl at her.

"And here I just said to my love that I wouldn't have to make your corpse watch us all.

I am still not going to do so, but now I am going to add cutting off that mouth of yours before killing you.

Won't be hearing your scream out for mercy when I am done killing you, but at least it will shut you up.

" Hiten said, getting Inuko to growl and me and Yura to look at each other.

My love?

Who could be referring to with that unless...

I looked over to Kagome who had her hand over her face and shaking her head.

"Well that is unexpected." I said, unsure on how to feel on that. Cause with Hiten's current state it was impossible to tell if she was being serious or not.

Yura just burst out laughing at that, getting everyone else to look at her and Kagome to send her a death glare.

"Is my possible dearth that funny for you? Cause you know what Hiten has planned for you after she kills me?" Inuko said incredulously.

"I know. In any other event that would lead to your death I would be cheering for it, but I am laughing at the fact that thunder bitch called Kagome her love if you didn't noticed.." Yura said, getting Inuko to look at Hiten dully.

"You called Kagome your love?" Inuko asked quite blandly.

"Of course, she is beautiful, strong, and quite cunning! The way she played with my emotions just to try to help you only to really solidify how wonderful she really is!" Hiten said, her cheeks aflame and swooning of Kagome like a schoolgirl...which now that I think about it was kind of ironic.

"Besides Y/N over there would agree with me won't you!" Hiten declared, getting my face to light up a little bit.

Great just throw me under the bus why don't you.

"Well I might agree with you on a few things, but the girl and being beautiful?

That just shows how insane you truly are.

Such a notion is ridiculous, she is plain at best. But now isn't the time for it, so let's just skip the small talk and get back to killing each other.

" Inuko said, getting me to nod and Kagome to glare at her looking a mixture of enraged and wishing for all of this to end.

I was feeling more of the later myself.

Yura stopped her laughing and attached some of her hairs to a rock spire while Hiten snarled at Inuko.

"You are right, so now you are going to pay with your life you brother killing bitch!" Hiten shouted, rocketing towards Inuko with her halberd crackling with electricity.

Inuko raised Tessaiga to block her attack and Hiten began to strike wildly with her weapon in an attempt to kill the inugami hanyo.

Meanwhile Yura lifted us into the air and I began to survey the ground until I spot a small rocky area that had a small puddle or two and looked pretty wet.

"Yura can you take us down there?" I asked, pointing to spot.

She saw it and grinned and that, figuring out what I had planned.

"Gladly." Yura said as she lowered us down towards the spot.

A moment later we landed down on the spot, right by the larger of the two puddles

Upon feeling the wet ground, I generated some mist around my foot.

Within a second the entire area in front of me was covered with frost and icecicles, minus the one puddle. I repeated the same process and soon the rest of the area was the same way, except from the other puddle rose a large pillar of ice.

I will have to thank Kagome for this, if we made it this out alive that is.

If what Hiten admitted about her...love for Kagome was true and her emotions were tied to the storm, then whatever Kagome had set to her must have upset the already volatile raijū to cause it to rain.

And seemed to have caused her to gain feelings or an obsession for Kagome, so that plan could be considered a double edged sword.

Still it gave us an advantage.

I might be running low on yoki, but with water it takes a lot less to make something like this. Of course I will have to find a new area after this.

Still against a raijū capable of manipulating the weather it wouldn't amount to much.

But we could use every advantage we can against Hiten.

"We I give the signal Yura, go wild to your heart's content." I said, getting Yura to grin as she began to wrap her hair around the various icicles around us.

"You got it master!" Yura said excitedly.

"And Yura, please try not to hit Inuko?" I asked her.

"I make no promises." Yura said, getting me to sigh.

I figured that was probably going to be the best I could get out of her.

But for now we just wait for the perfect opportunity, and one with the less chance of Inuko getting caught in crossfire.

(Inuko POV)

Well I really should have expected this from the crazy thunder bitch.

"Die! Die! Die!" Hiten shouted with every swing of her halberd, getting me barely block with each strike.

Her movements now were completely wild unlike before and with the extra shards and eating her brother's heart she was much faster and stronger now then before. While I have not changed at all and that damned gash she gave me still hurts.

However that is no way I was going to lose to this crazed bitch!

"Die!" Hiten shouted as she took one last swing before charging up another lightning burst. I pushed her away and barely got out of the way as she discharged it.

Sinking the claws of my free hands into the gash, causing me to wince. But as Hiten rushed towards me in an attempt to impale me, I unleashed my attack.

"Hijin Kessō!" I shouted, sending a volley of yoki charged blood blades towards the insane raijū.

Hiten dodged all but the last one, which nicked her in the shoulder and caused her to falter. I rushed at her and swung Tessaiga, but Hiten recovered while in mid flight and blocked it with her halberd.

We continued this blade lock for a minute before Hiten backed off and began to rain lightning all around me. Forcing me to dodge each one, but only barely.

I continued on doing this for a few moments before a particularly large bolt tore up the ground in front of my during mid leap and sent me crashing into a outcropping.

Groaning out in pain I quickly recompose myself to notice Hiten leveling her halberd and charged at me.

"Suffer in Yomi, bitch!" Hiten declared as she charge at me.

"Yura now!" I heard Y/N shout.

"Take this you crazed thunder bitch!" Yura shouted out, as I heard and audible crack followed the sound of multiple somethings being launched.

Just what did he have planed now?

I was soon answered when a volley of icicles rained down upon Hiten, who stopped her charge and discharged a bolt of lightning from her halberd to destroy it. She succeeded with most of them, some falling around her, some managing to scratch out her, and some nearly hitting me.

"I was going to kill the dirty, brother killing bitch first. But I suppose I will just have to knock some sense into you two before tonight." Hiten said rushing at where Y/N and Yura was.

"Well think again bitch." Yura said, tugging a finger or two back and picking up the icicles that missed Hiten and sent them flying. The raijū noticed this and flew out of their way. While I took the distraction and started to run towards where Y/N and Yura were with a whole lot of ice.

Better there then being blasted by Hiten once again.

"You are not getting away from me-" Hiten tried to yell at me, but a particularly large icicle cut her off by crashing into her head and splitting in two.

Hiten faltered for a bit, before clutch her head with one hand and blasting me with a bolt of lightning from her halberd with a pain and anger filled snarl. I barely dodged it before leaping towards the edge of Y/N's little encampment, just as Yura launched a small volley of icicles at Hiten.

Causing the raijū to fly back to dodge out of the way.

It will not be long before she comes back, but I could use as much breathing room as I can for now.

"You alright Inuko?" Y/N asked me.

"I'm fine, exhausted and that accursed gash still hurts but fine." I said getting him to nod before looking at all the ice around me. "So shall we do this the same as before?"

"I was thinking the same thing." He said, getting me to nod.

That sounds like a good plan, though we might have to add a lot more dodging to the mix now that Hiten seems to have added throwing a lot more lightning around.

Speaking of which, Hiten sent another few bolts in my direction. But Yura with a great heave ripped another large multitude of icicles from behind them towards Yura, an audible crack rippling through the air as she did so.

Most were destroyed by the lightning and I had to jump out of the way of a stray bolt, but some managed to at least scratch Hiten.

This only enraged her and she was charging up another lightning burst, this time aimed at Y/N and Yura this time.

I thought she wanted them alive not reduced to ashes.

"Inuko can you please provide us with a distraction?" Y/N said as mist began to generate from his foot and travel towards the unfrozen puddle.

"You have a plan I take it?" I asked as the puddle started to freeze up and spikes of ice began to form on the surface.

"I do, but I have to say in advanced that I am sorry for this." He sighed out.

What did he mean by that.

I felt something wrap around me and looked to note that Yura is grinning while flexing her fingers, evidently figuring out what he had planned.

Like I just did.

"If this works and we all survive this, I will accept your apology." I said flatly while tightening my grip on Tessaiga, getting him to sigh.

"I figured as much." He said. "Are you ready Inuko?"

"I suppose so, let's just get this over with." I sighed out.

"I am going to enjoy this." Yura said as she shot her hands forward and sent me flying towards a surprised Hiten, who was still charging her attack.

While midair I swung Tessaiga down on her with all my might, causing Hiten to block me with her halberd while still keeping her sights on Y/N and Yura.

Seeing as how I was going nowhere with this, I let go of one of my hands off of Tessaiga and swung my body upward and away from our blade lock. Once again midair, I planted my feet on her face and left arm before kicking off her with as much strength as I could muster.

This caused her to discharge her lightning burst early and instead of it's usual shape it was a very wide cone. That seemed to lightly scorch whatever it touched.

If that had hit Y/N or Yura, that would have put them out of commission for a while, but at least would have kept them alive.

But considering Y/N's aversion to heat and how Yura barely survived Hiten's lightning this would not have been a pleasant experience for them.

I landed on a rock outcropping to see Hiten trying to correct herself midair, coughing all the way.

"Dear Raijin, no wonder Manten never tried that! My throat feels like I just tried eating a bolt of lightning!" Hiten groaned out between coughs, before giving me another death glare and charging up her halberd with lightning. "Die bitch!"

To my surprise she threw it directly to where I was.

"Shit!" I cursed out as I jumped out of the way barley dodged some lightning bolts she sent after me before the halberd struck the rock and it exploded in a massive burst of lightning.

Leaving nothing left of it except for a smoking crater and the halberd.

Hiten shot out a hand towards the direction of her halberd, and it is called back to her hand. It was still smoking as she shot towards me.

I blocked her with Tessaiga, but I was forced to be pushed back. She then began to swing her halberd wildly and was kept to force to get on the defensive. Ready for whenever Y/N decided to strike.

After about a minute of this barrage I saw the smoke disappear off of the halberd and it started to spark. Hiten grinned and pulled back in order to release some more lightning.

I was ready to jump away when the sound of a loud snap, something smashing, and someone yelling out in pain coming from where Y/N was.

Hiten was also looking that direction and I took the chance to quietly slip away

That scream...it was Yura's.

What happened over there to get such a reaction?

(Y/N POV)

"Yura what happened and are you alright?" I asked her as she was clutching one of her arms. The shattered remains of a large ice pillar right behind us.

We were about to launch it an Hiten while she was busy fighting Inuko, when all the sudden there was the sound of something snapping and the ice shattering. Yura crying out in pain as well.

I had a guess, but I was going to have to get confirmation in order to see if I was right or not.

"I am alright Master, but I am afraid the thunder bitch damaged me more then I first thought.

" Yura groaned out as she held out her arm for me to see.

There was a large tare nearby where her elbow was.

Inside I glimpsed what looked like clumps of hair behaving as what you would expect muscles to do.

Honestly looking at it up close was both interesting and disturbing to look at.

But inside I saw that multiple clumps of the hair were either burnt, snapped, or both.

Seems like she didn't have enough hair to fully repair the damage Hiten caused her internally and still wished to fight.

And using her hair in such a manor that we had planned had only worsened it.

"Do you still wish to fight Yura, if you put to much pressure you could risk tearing yourself even further?" I asked her, getting Yura to nod.

"With the thunder bitch still breathing it is not like I have a choice now do I master. It is either I fight or the bitch catches me so there nothing else I can do." Yura said, getting me to nod.

"I see, how much do you think with your arm in it's current state?" I asked, a plan starting to form in my mind on how Yura can fight in her current condition.

"Nothing like that pillar, and possibly not you master." Yura said, showing me her other arm and seeing tears starting to form in several places.

Well that is not good, but nothing that I can do about it of course. It would be downright cruel to have Yura tear herself apart just to survive Hiten. No we have to plan smart about this and I already have a plan, but we are going to need to get rid of Hiten for a moment.

"Do you think that you could lift this up." I said, gesturing to the half finished ice structure.

"That could work, just give me a minute." Yura said as she began to wrap her hair around it.

I just nodded as went to the what remained of the puddle and began to gather what remained of the water into one point.

I hope this plan works.

(Inuko POV)

Well whatever happened over there the least I can hope for is that Y/N was alright and if that hairy bitch could at least still fight. We are going to need it after all if we are going to make it out of this mess.

"Well that sounds like I might have to put the vassal down, she probably won't make it through the night with what I had planned anyway." Hiten sighed out.

"For once we agree on something." I said, preparing for whatever this crazy bitch has planned.

"And the last time, so now die!" Hiten shouted, launching two lightning bolts at me and forcing me back before she began to gather lighting at the end of her halberd into a sphere.

That just kept getting bigger and bigger until it was about six times my size.

You have got to be kidding me!

"Burn in Yomi you dirty, brother killing bitch!" Hiten shouted as she launched her attack, the lightning sphere consuming everything in it's path.

"Damn it!" I shouted as a barely jumped out of the way of that thing. If that attack had hit, it would have been all over, I would have probably been nothing more then ashes.

I thought that Hiten at least wan't my corpse, but it seems like at this point she wouldn't care about the condition of my body.

As long as I died a gruesome death, then it was alright with her.

"I will not miss this ti-" Hiten had tried to shout out, but a spiked chunk of ice crashed into her and sent the crazed thunder bitch flying into a nearby rock outcropping.

Getting her to groan out in pain as she pulled out the parts of it that had impaled her.

To my side I saw Y/N and Yura and wishing to be as far away from Hiten at the moment, I ran towards them.

"So does anyone wish to tell me what was that screaming a minute ago was?" I asked while stopping next to them, noticing a sphere of ice in one of Y/N's hands. And the large tear on one of Yura's arms. "Never mind, stupid question."

"You got that right, I can't really fight like this." Yura groaned out.

"But we do have a plan in place, but I am going to have to ask you to distract Hiten for a few minutes." Y/N said, getting me to look at him incredulously for a few moments before sighing.

As long as it gave us an advantage over Hiten and the chance to finally put this bitch down, then I am up for anything at this point I suppose.

"Well whatever you have planned better be worth it." I growled out, getting him to nod.

"I have to agree with the bitch on this one, because I think the thunder bitch is recovering right now." Yura said, pointing towards a Hiten and I had to hold back a wince at the sight.

She was flying towards us slowly, and electric blue aura surrounding her and getting constantly struck by lighting.

And with each strike the damage we all did to her was healing bit by bit.

Oh great she can heal, but from the way her face was showing it was incrediably painful for her.

Well at least it made the bitch suffer, so it can not be all that bad.

Eventually the lightning stopped and Hiten hovered above us. She tried to speak, but that only resulted in her puking up some blood.

Okay that is just disgusting.

After a fem moments she stopped. Before she heaved once more and covered her mouth with her free hand as some more blood trickled around it before swallowing something massive back down her throat.

"Do you think that was Manten's heart?" I asked Y/N, who looked like he was trying not to throw up.

Not that I blame him of course, this was just plain disgusting to watch.

"I believe that it was so, but I do not wish to find out." Y/N said while looking a little green.

"I agree." Yura said looking disgusted.

That was just wrong on so many points, but it does give me an idea.

Her brother's heart was giving her so much power, but if we can damage Hiten enough and force her to do this again. We could possibly remove his heart and although she will still be a threat, it will be make her much more manageable to deal with.

"No wonder any raijū don't even use that technique, I could literally feel my organs rearranging themselves.

This is just the worst." Hiten groaned it out as she wiped the blood away off her mouth.

"Especially in front of the two I am the most looking ward to tonight alongside the lovely Kagome.

Well this is just embarrassing." Hiten then began charge lightning along her halberd.

"But not as unsightly as that you two keep helping the bitch, so I will just settle for breaking the vassals arms and Y/N's legs so that you two will stop interfering.

I will be more then welcome to make up for it tonight. "

"Inuko I think that we are going to begin our plan now." Y/N said as he cracked the sphere in his hand, water starting to spill out.

"Go ahead, just try not to take to long." I said as Hiten charged at us and the water started to turn to mist in Y/N's hands.

He threw the sphere down and a small cloud of mist erupted around us.

I jumped out of the way as Hiten charged in and a bolt of lightning followed suit, which I guess was for me.

I saw Y/N running in the other direction, guess Yura can't carry him with her arms in the risk of tearing.

Hiten blasted out of the mist and turned her sights towards me.

"Die!" She shouted while charging her halberd with lightning.

Before she could throw it, Benigasumi propelled itself towards the raijū and cut across her arm. Hiten let go of her halberd and it discharged early, releasing a burst of lightning just below her. I jumped back as Yura retracted her weapon.

Hiten regained her composure and looked between myself and Y/N and Yura before settling on me.

She let out a roar of anger as she rocketed after her halberd before rushing forward to impale me.

I held out Tessaiga to block her and she came at me swinging wildly again.

Y/N whatever you have planned it better be quick. I might be able to hold this crazed bitch for a while, but even I can not hold her off for ever.

(3rd POV - a few minutes later)

" I better hurry, for Lady Inuko's sake." Myōga said as he kept jumping as fast as he could.

He was content to hide in a nearby crevice, sure that he was safe from whatever Hiten could dish out. In full confidence Lady Inuko could deal with the raijū.

Until he saw those attacks she kept unleashing, great spheres of condensed lightning.

He had only seen few yokai in his life time preform such a feat, the last of the managing to have mortally injured Lord Tōga before he sealed it up.

While Hiten was nowhere near a threat as that accursed dragon was, she was still a great risk to Lady Inuko.

And he would be damned if he lost another master to another lightning using yokai, especially after reuniting with Lady Inuko just after 50 years.

He just hopped that it was not to late for when he got there.

(Inuko POV)

Damn it all, this just keeps getting better and better.

Hiten keeps coming after with her halberd and all different forms of lightning.

I have nearly been fried quite a few times and quite a few close calls with being impaled by her halberd.

The worst part was Hiten was not even slowing down in the slightest no matter what few scratches I managed to give her. Though whatever she used to heal herself has clearly tired her out, it was still not enough.

As for myself I am growing more and more exhausted with each near miss and the pain from that accursed gash she inflicted is becoming to hard to ignore. It is only a matter of time I messed up now.

Y/N whatever it is your planed, you better enact it soon.

"Die already you bitch!" Hiten shouted out, generating a another large sphere of lightning and launching it towards me.

I just barely jumped out of the way and onto a rock outcropping before launching myself off it. I then tried to slash at Hiten with Tessaiga, only for her to vanish in a flash of lightning.

This could not end-

I was broken from my thoughts when pain shot through my back as I felt cold metal tear through me flesh.

I screamed out in pain before I felt the halberd pulled me downwards before I was released and crashed into the ground face first.

Despite the pain I dragged myself to my knees to see the bitch flying down close to me, a wide smirk on her face.

"Well that was a little cathartic, it will pale in comparison to this!" Hiten shouted as she charged up a lightning burst in her mouth.

Only to barely dodge a few ice shards heading her way, they zoomed passed her before she released her attack vaporizing them.

"Need any help Inuko?" Y/N asked as he ran over.

"Just need a breather and I will be alright." I groaned out truthfully, while I might be suffer excruciating pain I have been through worse. I could probably be up and back into fighting condition in a minute or two. "Still though, what was taking you so damned long and where is Yura!"

I could have used his help earlier and where in Yomi was Yura?! I hate to admit it but without the hairy bitch we were screwed.

Also what was up with the gourd sized clump of ice frozen onto the back of his gi?

"Sorry it took so long, turns out it was a bad idea to have used the largest source of water first. As for Yura, well let's just say she won't be fighting with us directly anymore due her condition." He answered, getting me to roll my eyes at the last part.

I bet the hairy bitch was loving the fact that she would no longer have to deal with the crazy thunder bitch up close, but as long as she was pulling her weight I could care less at this point.

"Well at least tell me you finally have a plan to get us out of this mess." I said to Y/N.

"I do, just give me a second." He said before stepping in front of me and locking a halberd strike from Hiten with his blade.

"Y/N while I am happy that you are here, get out of the way! I have a bitch that needs to die!" Hiten shouted as she put more pressure onto their blade lock, pushing him back quite a bit.

"Not going to happen Hiten, as long as I am conscious I will just keep getting in the way." He said, getting the raiju to frown.

"Well that is going to be a disappointment, but if that is what you wan then so be it!" Hiten growled out before pulling herself back and preparing to strike Y/N with the blunt side of her halberd.

"Well are you going to do that in front of Inuko, cause that would be a bad idea." Y/N said, getting her to pause. "Knock me out here and you could risk getting yourself killed by her."

It took me a few moments to process it, but when I did I couldn't help but grin at that while trying to stand up and leaning against Tessaiga.

That's not a bad plan actually, if he can pull this bluff off that is.

Though from the look of Hiten's face it might be working.

"And what is stopping me from just killing the bitch and knocking you out?" Hiten asked with a frown, lightning sparking off her weapon.

Or maybe not.

"I will just be in the way and imagine what Kagome would think if you accidentally killed me.

She already had a low opinion on you before, but killing me would only worsen that.

Besides killing me would also ruin your chances of what you had planned tonight.

So are you really going to risk that?" Y/N asked, his voice becoming a little shaky towards the end as the lightning at the end of her halberd condensed into a sphere.

With a loud grow, she launched it towards my direction!

Y/N reached into his gi and pulled out another ice sphere and threw it onto the ground before an ice wall sprung up between the sphere and me.

A last ditch effort to by me some time perhaps, but while appreciated it was useless.

For one I wouldn't have been able out of the wayin time.

Also it wasn't aimed towards me, but right next to me.

The sphere tore threw the ice wall and continued on towards the rock, cutting through it like a sword threw paper before I could hear it detonate a few moments later.

Damn it, that was a close one.

"So you weren't just all talk then Y/N'" Hiten said with a frown that turned into a grin. "So where is your little trap for me, the one you set up with your vassal?"

Well that is just great, she figured out his plan.

"If you knew then why are you asking?" Y/N said reaching into his gi, possibly for another one of those spheres.

"Because you have a point, trying to murder the bitch here will possibly get you killed.

Something that I can not allow to happen.

That and I have showed that I can kill the bitch anytime I wish.

So lead me to where this trap is, it won't take long to deal with you before coming back to this bitch.

Besides it will be cute to see your attempts fail.

" Hiten said with a feral grin. "I will give you a minute to run ahead. "

"And what about Inuko?" Y/N asked, getting her to click her tongue in annoyance.

Most likely figuring that he would continue to interfere if he was still around.

"Fine I can kill her anytime, besides if she does interrupt our little dance it will still end same way no matter what happens. With you asleep and the bitch is dead!" Hiten growled out.

"Y/N whatever you are thinking, just run ahead.

I will be with you shortly, no matter what happens or what this Hiten has planned.

Besides you saw how even my bitch of an older sister, the supposed strongest daiyokai active failed to kill me.

So what chance do you think that she has of killing me?

" I said with a grin, enraging Hiten and getting Y/N to nod before running off.

Well my peace has been said, now let's see if the crazy thunder bitch will actually keep her word or not.

Hiten growled as she float slowly towards me, clutching her halberd.

She eventually stopped and was silent for a few moments. Before a bolt of lightning crashed down next to me.

Looks like she did.

"You missed." I snapped at Hiten, getting her to look even more enraged.

"Don't tempt me. After knocking some sense into Y/N I am coming right back after you. So enjoy these last few minutes of life Inuko. For they will be the last you wills ever experience you brother killing bitch!" Hiten growled out before vanishing in a flash of lightning.

Which for you will never happen, Sesshōmaru has made similar threats they all ended in failure.

So what chance do you think you have?

I steadied myself onto my feet without Tessaiga, withholding the urge to scream out in pain as it felt like my legs and back where on fire.

From there I took it one step at a time, fighting through the pain until I reached what I thought was a comfortable pace. Running and jumping were out of the question for now. Still I need to hope that Y/N and Yura could hold off Hiten for a bit.

Cause this time once I arrive, there was no more running or planning.

There is only one thing that will be happening , putting this crazed bitch down for good!

While I promised last time this would be the longest chapter and the last one for this arc...well looks like I managed to keep the former promise anyway. Quite frankly I am breaking here and taking a few days off otherwise I worry I will burn out entirely.
