Ch32 Fears Realized
(Y/N POV - Higurashi Shrine - Modern Era)
"So are you going to not answer me or not Grandpa? " I asked him as he was checking something in the storehouse.
He had asked me this morning to help with the weekly inventory check of the shrine's storehouse. Considering I had nothing else to do.
Completed all homework for now, caught up on a project I started since first coming back from the past, helping out an associate with a project of his for a bit, and denied requests from multiple people inquiring about my art and asking to make faux copies about myself.
Especially from that greedy sociopath from the Nerima ward.
With the reveal of my past...future works?
It is still confusing to wrap my head around.
Anyway with that reveal it has been request after request from her and I will have no part in her schemes at all.
I have enough on my plate as it is after all.
Anyway besides that and figuring out how to bring Shippō to the modern era and dealing and trying to limit Yura's heists in the modern era nothing else of notice has been going on.
Besides Inuko mentioning that she had started training, specifically so she would be more ready to deal with Hiten of she returns.
Something that I was not looking forward too for when it happens.
And on the issue on going back to the Sengoku Jidai, Grandpa has been silent on the matter and it was starting to get annoying.
It has been three days since he told Kagome he would think about the issue and I believe that we could've heard something on the matter by now.
Or at least by the end of the week.
Though judging by Grandpa's sigh, that might change.
"Are you sure about that Y/N? It seems like every time you come back to the present you just get in worse and worse shape.
You have two shards embedded in your chest, scars from Inuko and Hiten, and have lost part of your humanity.
So you are now about...55% yuki-onna?" Grandpa asked, getting me to nod.
"That sounds about right." I said, getting Grandpa to sigh.
"As I was saying you are losing a portion of your humanity and it is only going to get worse and worse from here on out.
If last week was of any indication then you will be facing worse and worse odds, more likely to die and losing your humanity along the way.
I worry about Kagome as well, but she has surprised me with how she has delt with every challenge you too have face.
I have more confidence that she will make it through the Sengoku Jidai with those you surround yourself with.
..and that includes yourself as well." Grandpa sighed out in defeat.
" I just... don't want to lose you like I lost your father.
He died overseas and despite his flaws he was still my friend.
It took weeks to get his body back to Japan for burial with the whole reef crab fiasco.
If you died in the past...I don't know if we could even bring your body back in one piece or how to explain how you died nor do I wish to ever have too.
This path you and Kagome are walking on.
..it is extremely dangerous. I have complete faith that my granddaughter will make it through the trials to come.
But with you Y/N...I do not lose you like I lost your father, my wife, or my son. "
(Grandpa POV)
Or as I would have said...I do not want to lose another son.
I already lost one, I do not want to lose another.
(Y/N POV)
After hear that I could only sigh.
So that's the reason why, both me and Kagome suspected as much.
But not like this.
He just didn't want to lose someone he cared about for the remainder of his time on Earth.
"I can understand why you are worried Grandpa.
..and to tell the truth I am afraid. Afraid of what might happen.
Afraid of leaving you, Kagome, Sōta, and Mrs. Higurashi behind if something happened.
Afraid of what might happen if we find the whole Shikon Jewel or even before we find it the whole thing.
..what will happen when I lose my all of my humanity. " I said with a shudder.
That one has kept me up at night once, especially when Hiten mentioned her encountering some kind of yokai before we were pulled into that limbo. Considering the nature of the jewel and the two presences within my shard...will I even be myself when I lose my humanity?
That itself was a question that would frighten most people and Grandpa seemed to share my sentiments.
"And despite all of that, knowing that you are risking yourself to those same fears...you still wish to go back to the Sengoku Jidai with Kagome?" Grandpa asked, getting me to nod.
"Of course, we started this and if she is not going to stop then neither do I.
We've had each other's back for as long as either of us can remember.
Besides if you tried to prevent me from leaving then either she or I would find away around whatever measures you could do to stop us.
That or either Inuko or Yura would drag me back through the well.
" I said, getting Grandpa to look at me blankly.
"And that is something that I fear will happen.
" Grandpa said before sighing. "Y/N you are either very brave or very foolish to go back there.
..but I suppose that I myself am a little foolish to have such little faith in you.
I am not going to stop worrying about you, but I am not going to deny you if you wish to continue down this path.
Just promise me that no matter what you face in the Sengoku Jidai, just promise to come back to use alive. "
"That I can promise Grandpa, though considering the way things are currently going I am going to need everyone's help for the time being." I sighed out, getting Grandpa to do so as well.
"I figured that you were going to say that Y/N.
Still between all of you together should be able to weather just about any dangers coming your way if you all survived the eldest daughter of Tōga and a pair of raijū.
However do not grow complacent just because you survived some of the strongest yokai out there.
" Grandpa said seriously, getting me to nod.
"I know, planning on training after getting back on my own two feet. Besides getting control of my excess powers." I said, sighing as frost began to crawling on my arm before dispelling it.
I know that when Inuko visited that she was already doing the same thing, saying that she needed to do so inorder to be ready for 'when that thunder bitch comes back for payback' in her own words.
So along with that, myself planning on training, and Yura's new strength we now had a better edge against whatever will come out way...but that still left one issue.
"Speaking of which, what about Kagome?" I asked getting to shake his head and smile.
"I am proud to admit it, but my granddaughter has long surpassed me in terms of reiryoku but she can not tap into it. At least consciously. So I was able to procure something that will help her out." Grandpa said as he looked around the storehouse before he found what he was looking for.
Going to a shelf he pulled off of it to reveal something that I honestly should have expected.
"You got her a hama ya." I said as I examined the bow as he handed it to me along with a quiver of arrows.
"That's right, thought that with her potential to be a miko and it has been blessed inorder to make sure that it is more durable then a regular bow of the Sengoku Jidai along with hopefully being it easier to draw out her reiryoku.
Honestly it was harder to get this made and everything arranged then to get medical transcripts for you and Kagome if anyone asks any questions.
" Grandpa said nonchalantly, getting me to blink.
Wait what?
"Better not to ask." Grandpa said as if he guessed what I was thinking. " Now would you mind putting them in the house real quick before helping me with the inventory. I am afraid that I might lose them or break them like the music box."
"Alright." I said simply, seeing no problem with it as I wheeled away and out of the storehouse.
At least Kagome is going to appreciate the hama ya and the news. I was afraid that she might snap sooner or later.
Along with Inuko and Shippō, speaking of which I wonder how they are doing now.
(Inuko POV - Sengoku Jidai - Kaede's village - same time)
Tsukuyomi damn it, now I know how Kaede feels. My back is killing me!
"I warned you the boulder was too big." Shippō said as he practiced drawing on a few pieces of paper and something that Y/N called a crayon the he had given the kit.
Something the Shippō was very excited about when he received them.
"Quite your groaning, you don't hear me complain about my back all that much." Kaede said as she grounded some herbs together.
"Shut it." I growled out, trying to stand up.
Only to groan in pain as my back cracked and collapsed back to the ground.
"Damn it all." I groaned out.
Hate to admit it, but I should have listened to the kit. If I wasn't making sure Y/N was alright or killing any yokai that tried attack the village and there was quite a few, I was training.
That damned, crazy thunder bitch nearly killed me, Yura, and nearly took Y/N with her to Yomi.
And that was when she went full crazy on us.
While healing from that battle I had come to a realization.
I had gotten weaker, at least physically. Not by much but it was still noticeable.
An issue born from being strung up in a kami forsaken tree for half a century.
Thank you for that Kikyō!
So I spent the past three days training anyway I can think of while Yura spent most of the time in modern world while not rebuilding her nest.
Considering that Y/N still had her comb, he could handle whatever that hairy bitch could throw at him.
Still do not know nor do I want to know where she is getting all that hair from in the modern era.
Anyway besides that I have been looking after Shippō whenever Kagome wasn't around or when we had to carry Y/N and his wheelchair as they called it down the well.
It was surprisngly easier to carry it down then his bike two days ago after retrieving it from around Raimei Valley.
Sure the kit was a bit bratty, even sent a jab about me being a hanyo. Before being reminded Y/N was one and for him to chide Shippō out for it.
After that I kind of learned from Y/N how best to deal with the kitsune brat if he started to act up.
Which he did less so around Y/N, Kagome, or Kaede. The latter seemed to take a liking to Shippō instantly while being stern if he did something wrong. Guess she has a soft spot for kids, even if they where yokai.
Though he did seem wary and stayed away from or or as he called her, creepy lady whenever Y/N wasn't around. Not that I balme him considering that it was the hairy bitch and she probably wanted his pelt for her own.
As for Myōga, hadn't seen the old flea in days. Looking for a type of yokai that could fix the Tessaiga's sheath.
Like I care for the old flea, he has disappeared for reasons like that for absolutely no reason at all during my time knowing him so this was nothing new.
Everyone after that mess of a battle was doing their own thing I guess as a way to move on from that disaster with the raijū.
Like myself from the pain of my back-
"Damn it all!" I shouted as I felt my back cramp up.
"I suggest you take it easy for the next time you decide to train with carrying a massive bolder on your back, have someone other then Shippō spot you." Kaede said dryly, getting me to groan from her commit and the pain.
"Don't worry, learned my lesson. So how are those herbs coming along? I could really use them right about now." I groaned out, getting Kaede to sigh.
"If you were a human, you would not be worry about a bad back right now. With how fast you heal and these herbs to take away the pain you should be up by nightfall, but not any sooner. Other then that might I suggest you get some rest to speed up your healing." Kaede said, getting me to sigh.
"Fine." I grumbled out as I tried my best to ignore the pain.
Looks like I won't be back to Y/N and Kagome's era for a while.
Meh, probably not missing much right now.
(Y/N POV - Modern Era - A minute later)
Why is smoke coming from the storehouse!?
I was literally gone only a few minutes and now the storehouse was on fire with Grandpa still inside!
And why was nether of the fire alarms not going off, there where two in there!
I did them only sane thing I could think of and called 119.
With the fire department on their way and Grandpa probably still in their, I decided to wheel in there and try to see if I could get him out.
And considering that I was... I'd say 55% yuki onna at this point this was going to hurt...
But if it was to get Grandpa out of there then it was worth the risk.
I started to wheel myself in there, only for some hairs to wrap around my arms and began to pull me back.
"Master I am gone not that long not expecting you not to get into trouble. I come back to find you about to rushing into a burning building. What happened here?" Yura asked as she pulled me back with her hairs.
"Believe me I just came to see this happen, the fire department should be here soon to take care of the fire. However last I knew Grandpa was still in there." I said, getting Yura to stare at me for a few moments before loosening her hairs.
"That old man means that much to you doesn't he Master, fine. But we are going in their for a minute to see if he is alright. After which I am dragging you out, no matter if you use my comb against me or not." She said, getting me to nod.
"Alright then let's get him then." I said wheeling off while Yura sighed before wrapping some hairs onto me and the wheelchair, yet made no move to pull me back.
Guess this was so she could so later if I tried to be stubborn.
Which I won't be for this instance, considering my heritage and still recovering I could only be in their for a short time before the heat really starts getting to me.
Me and Yura were soon at the entrance to the storehouse with one of the fire alarms finally going off, but only the older model by the sounds of it.
Inside it was just about as I imagined it, the fire blazing at various part of the interior and the sheer heat sapping at my strength even standing at the door. And inside was my worst fear was realized.
Knocked unconscious and stuck underneath a fallen beam was Grandpa, covered in several sultras and clutching a few in his hands.
Just what in Yomi happened here?
As I heard the sound of fire truck sirens in the distance, Yura pulled me back as a flaming beam crashed into the entry way of the storehouse.
"Are you alright master?" Yura asked as she loosened her hairs off of me.
"A little heated but I will be alright. If I had went inside of the storehouse with Grandpa it would be a whole other story." I said as the sound of sirens could be heard from the bottom of the shrine's entryway. "Hopefully they will get him out soon."
"Perhaps master, but there is something that is bothering me. He was covered in sultras in the middle of a fire. Whatever caused this fire was perhaps something not of your era." Yura said, getting me to sigh.
"Maybe Yura, or it could be something else but I hope that both of use are wrong." I said as I saw firemen coming through the shrine's gate in order to deal with the blaze.
All the while hoping this was just a simple fire. But the evidence points to otherwise.
Grandpa covered is sultras and a bit hauntingly, a full pulse from the accursed shard in my chest.
I fear that something might from the Sengoku Jidai might have crossed through the well and had just attacked Grandpa.
Mine and Kagome's worst fears had just come true.
(Kagome POV - Half an hour later)
It had been a good day at school and by now I had caught up with most of my schoolwork.
Though I still have to make up a test tonight and a pretty lengthy one at that.
Still everything was going fine on that end with school. After the past week it was nice to be able interact with Eri, Yuka, and Ayumi just like before the whole mess concerning the well began.
One thing I could do without is people thinking I had suffering with aliments common with those around Gramps's age. Especially Hōjō.
Constantly give me remedies for said aliments. Also it was obvious that he was interested in me. He was nice enough, though he can't take a hint about me not interested in him or rejection.
Either he was too dense to understand, too pure, or he was just that determined.
Maybe all three.
Still that didn't stop me friends from teasing me about him or Y/N though. Or Eri suggesting both him and Y/N getting together.
That girl and her yaoi...
Anyway the walk home was uneventful, until I saw an ambulance riding past me on the road not that far from home.
"Hey there's a fire at the Higurashi sign." A man called out to his friends, getting my blood to run cold as they ran in the direction of the shrine.
I soon broke into a run after them.
You have got to be kidding me, it has already been three days since we returned and this happens!
A fire at the shrine, I pray to Amaterasu that Y/N and Gramps are alright as they were the only ones there. Along with that this had nothing to do with the Shikon Jewel.
Frustratingly my hopes were dashed when I got to the crowd at the bottom of the hill where the shrine was.
I could sense the shards we collected, Y/N's shard which eased my nerves only slightly, and one I didn't recognize.
Something must've come from the well and set part of the shrine on fire. I needed to find out what happened here.
So I pushed through the crowd to the very front as fast as I could and slipped under the barricade right next to a police officer.
"Hey you! You can't go there!" He shouted at me, but I ignored him and ran up the shrine's stairway.
I had to know what was happening.
When I got to the top I saw my mother bowing to a police officer with Y/N and Yura right next to her thankfully in the same outfit as earlier.
"Thank you very much." Mom said as the officer nodded and walked away.
"Mom! Y/N!" I called out to get their attention and running towards them, purposely leaving out Yura.
"Kagome, there was a fire in the storeroom. Your grandfather was surrounded by the smoke and was struck by a falling beam." Mom explained, getting me heart to stop for a second.
So something must've crawled out of the well and caused the fire in the storehouse and injured Gramps.
"Is he alright?" I asked worriedly, trying not to let slip on how I was truly feeling. Knowing that my worst fear was coming true.
"He is slightly injured but alright, the paramedics said that he had fainted before he could take in too much smoke.
Currently he is unconscious and being taken to the nearest hospital, but hopefully he should wake up soon.
" Mom sighed out before she looked between Y/N and myself.
"They say the fire was caused by one of the smoke alarms short circuiting from the state they found it in and it spread from there.
But considering everything that has been happening lately and what Y/N said he felt then it could be something from the past."
"It's true, I could sense it from outside the shrine, there is something with a shard here but it feels faint now." I said, hoping whatever it was had decided to go back to the Sengoku Jidai.
"Looks like we were right Master." Yura said getting Y/N to sigh.
"And I was hoping not to be. If I had been there-" He tried to say, but I cut him off.
"Then you would have either joined Gramps in the hospital or worse Y/N considering whatever attacked him caused a fire.
Add in that you still have trouble controlling your powers and still recovering then you could not have helped Gramps in their and the both of you would be in the same condition.
So just thank whatever kami that you were not in there when the fire started and Gramps is alive.
I would hate to see you worry about what has already happened after you telling me the same thing back in the past." I said, getting him to sigh and Yura to send a begrudging nod my way.
Which I returned the only one I will ever get the hairy bitch.
Both of us agreeing to snap him out of this now then later.
"Can't disagree with that. I'm just worried about Grandpa as we all are. So thank you for snapping me out of that Kagome." Y/N said, getting me to nod.
"Don't mention it." I said before turning to Mom. "So when are we going to see Gramps?"
"Soon, I am going to go ahead and check on him at the hospital.
Sōta will be here in about an hour and it would be for the best if the three of you stick together in case whatever came through the well decides to attack again.
Especially with all the firemen and police officers around hopefully that will provide some extra protection.
Still when Sōta comes back home either you or Y/N text me and I will come pick you all up.
And bring sure to bring the jewel shards so it doesn't end up like a repeat of this Hiten you two told me about.
" Mom said, getting me to nod and shutter at the mention of the raijū.
Now's not the time to think about something like that.
"Don't worry Mrs. Higurashi, we will be alright." Y/N said, getting Mom to nod with a smile.
"I know, you all have faced worse before this so I know I will see you all soon. And Y/N how many times do I have to say it, you can call me by my first name." Mom said before giving me a quick hug."Make sure to keep Yura in line, I don't want her to scare Sōta again."
Considering the first time she first saw my little brother after out return and the way she mused about collecting his hair, Sōta had been keeping his distance from the so called creepy lady.
To my amusement and her anger it seems she can't shake that nickname no matter the era.
"Don't worry mom I will make sure that everything will be alright. I will see you soon." I said as we broke our hug.
"And I can't wait to see you again Kagome." Mom said with a smile before she began to walk off with her car.
Here I was hoping to have a normal afternoon, not expecting the chaos of the Sengoku Jidai to come straight to us.
I suppose this is what I get for wanting a bit of the old normal and not expecting the past to rear it's ugly head into this era. Literally in our case.
And I will try my damnedest to make sure I never repeat this same mistake ever again.
"Kagome are the jewel shards still in your room?" Y/N asked, getting me to nod.
"They are, let's grab them now so we don't have to make sure whatever crawled out of the well doesn't grab them when Sōta comes home." I said as we began to walked, Y/N being wheeled back to my house.
"Also shouldn't you try to get Inuko, maybe when there is not as many people around?" I asked Yura, getting her to huff.
"There is no need to get the bitch involved right now since I will not be leaving Master defenseless against whatever yokai we are up against, especially since he nearly entered into a burning storeroom when I got here.
" Yura said before she started to laugh a little.
"Then again she was currently indisposed when I last saw her, I doubt she will be of any use to soon. "
Both me and Y/N looked at her for answers, only for Yura to chuckle some more and gestured her hand as if to say later.
Now I really wanted to know what happened to Inuko, but it could wait. As much as I hated to agree with the harlot, perhaps we didn't need Inuko for whatever came out of the well.
Maybe whatever came out of the well was just as harmless as the Tsukumo no Gama had been...
Right?
(Later that Afternoon - Hospital waiting room)
It's official, I hate Murphy's law and it hates me back.
Since apparently after Sōta got back home, I felt the jewel shard belonging to whatever yokai crawled out of the well had began to pulse with energy and took a fire truck on a joy ride throughout Tokyo!
Now there have been news reports all afternoon of it being uncontrollable and injuring various people, with the reports being at a minimum since most of them disappearing after it makes a brief stop.
So not only is this yokai is much smarter then I thought, it was especially dangerous.
Infact so much so that Y/N had an easier time to get Yura to follow up on checking up on the situation after giving her his phone...and teaching her how to answer to it.
Even she agreed that a yokai like this was too dangerous with how it acted. Especially since know our luck, it will probably since we have all of the shards in our era here.
But still it seems to be one bad thing after another.
First the shrine's storehouse caught on fire, Gramps is still asleep and I haven't heard anything from mom in hours, there is a yokai on the lose in Tokyo, there are possibly dozens of people dead, Inuko is currently suffering from crippling back pain according Yura, and I am still nowhere near finish up this make up math test even with Y/N's help!
So for once I could use some good news. Besides Gramps giving me a rather beautiful looking hama ya and allowing Y/N to go back to the Sengoku Jidai.
"Kagome, Sōta, and Y/N Grandpa is going to make a full recovery according to the doctors." Mom said as she walked up to the three of us as we were doing our make up test, homework, or helping me with my test respectfully.
Finally!
"Really!" Sōta said excitedly as he and I put down our work and Mom sat across from us.
"Physically he will, but the doctors are going to have to check his mental state as well before they can discharge him.
Grandpa is starting to get up in his years and they don't know when he will wake up, but he will eventually.
" Mom sighed out before pulling out some papers, no sutras from her purse.
"But I think that Grandpa will be alright as I believe that what is going on with him might be dealing with whatever attacked him. "
Mom handed out the sultras, which reaked of sake. But to my surprise I felt two of them pulse and glowed a soft violet in my hand.
"Big sis how did you do that?" Sōta asked as got up and stood next to me.
"Honestly I do not know Sōta, they seem to react to me. But considering Gramp's profession it might be due to my reiryoku." I said, getting Y/N to nod.
"Got it in one Kagome, I do not know the entire specifics but if Grandpa said these sutras have been used for generations I can see a little onmyōji inspiration in these.
" Y/N said before pointing to part of the kanji.
"What little I can tell is that these do not require a lot of reiryoku to use and just a basic repel.
One not really that effective unless you are dealing with the type of yokai Grandpa encounter s during his work. "
"Which considering what he told us then whatever yokai that crawled out of the well must be a mononoke or a tsukumogami." I said, slightly shuddering at the thought of facing the former.
I have heard some pretty terrifying horror stories of them and I hope not to encounter one anytime soon.
Also I was more comfortable fighting the latter considering we defeated Yura.
"So that explains what Grandpa kept saying." Mom said.
"What he was saying?" I asked, getting her too nod.
"He was found with these sutras covering his head and some in his mouth." Both me and Sōta dropped the ones in our hands onto the table after hearing that part. "He keeps mumbling one word in his sleep over and over again. Nikuzuki no Men."
Mask of Flesh.
After hearing that I was shocked and Y/N face palmed and groaned.
Why wouldn't I be shocked, considering I have been hearing about it from Gramps for years and it was not a myth nor from the Sengoku Jidai!
After my last trip back there I had my suspicions, but never thought they would be true.
The Nikuzuki no Men put my clean right where we are today all the way back to one of my ancestors during the middle of the Edo Jidai, nearly 300 years ago.
The story went that around where the shrine is now a noh mask was carved from a katsura tree turned into a rather destructive tsukumogami that went on a rampage and devoured any humans in its path order to create a body for itself until my ancestor exorcised it and sealed the mask away. Never to be seen again.
Until now.
"That explains everything, why the storehouse caught on fire and why so many people are missing. The Nikuzuki no Men broke out of its seals and is regaining it's strength." I said, getting Y/N to groan.
"I knew that Grandpa should have gotten rid of that thing. It's been in the storehouse for generations and even told him so multiple times, but he was so confident the seals would have lasted another hundred years." He said, getting me to groan.
I can give Gramps a piece of my mind for keeping something so dangerous around us for years, but it can wait until after he gets out of the hospital.
"Still how does it already have a jewel shard in it comes from the Edo Jidai if a shard crashed into a nearby tree?" I asked Y/N, getting him to shrug.
"To be honest if I had to guess it was probably laid dormant and no one ever found it. The shard probably only became active after the mask was carved and created the Nikuzuki no Men." Y/N said, getting me to nod.
That was probably a good enough explanation as we could get right now and after this mess we should look for that tree inorder to get rid it.
I was going to ask Y/N if he had any ideas when I saw another news update on a nearby TV about the runaway firetruck and it had a route of its rampage throughout Tokyo.
It looks like it was circling around and heading back it's route back towards the shrine.
The Nikuzuki no Men was returning back to where it all started for it after regaining it's strength.
Either for revenge on my clan, the possibility of more jewel shards, or both.
But whatever the possibility, I am not going to allow that to happen.
Cause I had an idea and from the knowing look Y/N gave me we probably had the same one.
"Mom when we go home, can you please get everything Sōta needs to spend the night here or at one of his friends for tonight?" I asked, getting Mom to nod in understanding.
"Of course, do you understand Sōta?" Mom said, getting my younger brother to nod.
"Yes mom, please make sure to protect Buyo." Sōta asked towards both me and Y/N chuckle at that.
He knew what we were going to be doing and even if we downplayed most of what we faced to him, Sōta knew that we have literally faced worst this week. He knew that we got this.
"We will protect Buyo, and Y/N you might want to stay back at the shrine incase Inuko comes back before the Nikuzuki no Men. That and your left eye is starting to frost over." I said, getting him to sigh as he dispelled the ice on his face.
"Figured that you would say that." Y/N said as he tossed me Yura's comb. "Just make sure not to break it and when that tsukumogami attacks the shrine I'll be ready."
"Wouldn't expect anything less of you Y/N and I will." I said with a smile as I pulled out my phone and he gave one in return as we began to look for places to lure the Nikuzuki no Men.
The plan was simple, when and it will attack the shrine we will be ready.
Myself and Yura will lure it to a location where nobody else will be at and kill it there while Y/N waits back to keep him out of anymore trouble and from possibly being affected by a new jewel shard along with possibly alerting Inuko what is going here.
A simple plan, but effective plan.
One I am looking forward too.
This Nikuzuki no Men, it attacked my home and injured my grandfather and it could have done the same to Y/N.
I was going to make this thing pay for doing that by doing what my ancestor failed to do.
I was going to finish off that accursed tsukumogami once and for all.
(Chapter 32 end)
Hey guys Mukuro7 here and I hoped that you enjoyed this new chapter of Hanyo of Snow.
I am going to keep this short as I as I have somewhere to be soon at the time of this being published, but I have something to ask.
I was thinking of doing something for this story after seeing plenty of videos on YouTube.
An extra chapter every now and then of a measure of who is strongest so to speak. It is going to be something saved for like when at the end of a season, movie, or an extra large arc although this first one will cover the first 30 chapters.
This is just a suggestion so if you wish to see it or not let me know and depending on the results I could have it up in a week.
Anyway next chapter will cover the Nikuzuki no Men and I hope you all will enjoy it when it comes out.
So until next time, ciao!
