Menace
Recommendation: Listen to “Bad Boyz” by Shyne ft Barrington Levy
My crocodile Stefano Ricci loafers slid across the marble floors once we made it past security.
Aimee was able to get our names added to their digital guest list. The minute that we stepped forward, a picture of us appeared on the iPad screen and let security know that we had clearance.
I had been running Case House for some time now, and I liked to think I was pretty fucking good at slanging high priced pussy.
Even with how good I had been at selling pussy, I had never been granted permission or offered to throw a fucking ball in the Federal Reserve. Guess Preston was sucking a little dick to get these kinds of perks. Nigga probably sucked balls, too.
Ball sucking ass nigga.
I saw Luci up on the balcony with a shorty.
He was staring at her like he wanted to fuck or kill her, I couldn’t decide.
We moved further into the party, and I stared up at the vaulted ceiling, pale stone columns, and arched openings.
The architect must have loved fucking bronze, ‘cause nearly everything in this bitch was bronze.
The warm amber lighting and candles every where were enough to let me know they couldn’t provide enough lighting for this entire space. The orchestra was centered under one of the archways playing some boring ass music.
A million things were going through my head, and as I squeezed my eyes tightly trying to get my shit straight, I felt Bruster’s hand on my arm.
“Aye, you straight?”
I flashed a smile. “Splendid, Bruster. Splendid.”
“Capri said she hasn’t spotted Preston yet.”
“Did Brunhilda arrive yet?”
“Who?” Bruster asked confused.
“The fire king’s wife.” I waved him off, as a waiter handed me a flute of champagne, and I happily accepted as I floated through the party like this bitch was mine.
I left Bruster stumped, as I mixed in with the rest of the guests for an hour before he sent that mass text to everybody.
Instead of staying on the main level, I went upstairs and stood on the second level, watching the party below us.
“Nothing on fuck nigga?” Luci asked.
“Nah.”
He finished his drink, as his attention was between Capri and another woman.
I noticed that he split his time watching both of them.
His eyes were on Capri as she mingled with the guests.
District Attorney Fern was a favorite among everyone tonight.
Men couldn’t keep their eyes off her or were fighting to get a second of her attention.
Every time I looked in Luci’s direction, he was staring at her.
“Married.”
“Happily?”
“Her husband loves fire,” I put him onto game.
With the way I watched how he got busy when it came to fire, and the burn on his face, I didn’t think Luci wanted to open that door.
“Noted,” he said, as his eyes turned to the second woman he had been watching along with Capri.
“Know her?”
“You got a Picasso in yo’ house!” he hollered, and the woman almost broke her neck to look around.
When her eyes landed on Luci, she stomped her heel and shook her head before she flipped him off, then disappeared into the crowd.
“You slow, huh?”
Luci smirked. “A little… didn’t read until I was thirteen.”
Everyone was scared that I was delayed, but I was just a selective mute. Luci’s ass was actually slow.
“Not a little… who is she?”
“Haven House girl from Atlanta… I’m surprised she up this way.”
I had half the mind to pull my gun and shoot my own cousin in the head. “You fucked Haven House bitches?”
“Nigga, do you think I went around asking if they were from an organization? I met her at a strip club in Atlanta, and she told me she fucked for money.”
“And that made you want to fuck her?”
He fixed his suit. “Actually, yes. Cleanest lil’ bitch I had ever fucked… pussy smelled like flowers each time I pounded her shit.”
“Flowers fucking stink.” I moved away from him disgusted, as I turned to see the woman of the hour arrive without the man of the hour.
“The fuck is she doing with Alex Dass?” Duke whispered, as we both watched Bobbi hold onto his arm, just as confused.
She played it off, but Alex eyed her down like sausage. Like he wasn’t supposed to be with Kennedy.
“Eyes on her all night, Duke… nothing happens to her,” I instructed, and he left me to be close by Benni.
Alex was so busy eating up all the attention that he wasn’t paying attention. I had a bird’s eye view of the front, and watched as security held the iPad up, waiting for a picture of Goon to come up.
The red access denied message came across the screen, and we made eye contact. He reached into his suit, pulled his gun out and pulled the trigger.
POW!
The second security member was so caught off guard that he froze, and Goon sent one into his head. Security started to scramble, and Bruster hit the lights on the bullshit generator they had going.
The low amber lighting they had going on went dark, with the exception of the candles that were lit.
With my hands in my pockets, I walked to the middle of the steps. Don hit the lights, and the full lights for this building turned on. People were scared and squinting as they looked around.
“Welcome to Hoochie House Society Ball… I’m your host, Mitchell.” I smirked, as my eyes locked with Alex.
Alex had either a mix between piss or shit in his draws. Both if I was lucky. I waved at him. “How we doing, Lexxy?”
I nodded my head, signaling for Briana to move away. She caught on and moved away from him, as I remained standing on the steps. “I…I’m good, Me…Mitchell?” He was confused by my new name I was going by.
“How many times have you seen me on steps like these… a lot, right?”
“Uh huh.”
“In different countries, right?”
I looked around the room and couldn’t spot Kennedy. “Sure.”
“Nigga, don’t answer me with that sure bullshit.” I scolded him like his mama should have the second he exhibited those freaky ass traits he had.
I couldn’t stand when a Caucasian person answered me with sure. What the fuck did that even mean? In my opinion, that was their way of trying to trip you up. They could say they never told you yes or no, and you assumed. I hated assumptions, so I hated that sure bullshit.
Goon stood at the bottom of the steps waiting for me to make my next move. Nigga took that promise he made my sister seriously. It was okay to let Bean’s mean ass down sometimes.
“Yea…yes, Mitchell.”
“What happened? You heard of a new pussy selling palace and forgot about me? Forgot that we’re family… closed deals together, huh?”
I was willing to bet he was the nigga behind telling them who I was. What else did he have to lose? He owed a shit ton of money to the Kenzotti’s, so his days were already numbered.
“What in the hell is going on her—”
I hopped over the banister, landing on my feet because it wasn’t that high, and walked over towards homie.
“Scotty Boy… gosh, I’ve missed you!” I pushed the barrel of my gun into his neck and pulled the trigger with ease. His neck gushed blood, shooting it all over me, and on Alex along with the woman who stood close to him thinking he was safe.
Everyone was internally screaming and wanting to run, but with the Delgatos and Infernos standing on the balcony with assault rifles in their arms, they were too scared to do so.
Recommendation: Listen to “Linger” by The Cranberries
The orchestra started playing lowly, and out the corner of my eye, I saw Luci dancing with the flame thrower like it was his date. When they finally started truly playing, I recognized the song as this nigga’s favorite.
His dancing was so damn contagious that I started fucking dancing with the gun in the air.
“Do you have to, do you have toooooo!” Luci sang out, while two stepping.
I stopped.
“Hold the fuck up!”
The orchestra stopped playing like a record scratched in this bitch. “I said fucking dance, bitches… fucking dance.”
Luci looked at them. “Go ahead… and hold it on that last part. It’s my favorite part,” he instructed them, as they started back playing, shaky hands and all.
This was the kind of music that Wonder like to listen to. I was dancing, while thinking about how I would see my boo in a few hours. I couldn’t wait to see her and my son, but this needed to be done.
A point had to be proven, and I knew the shit would make things worse, but things had to go bad before you knew they could be good.
Cappadonna was hitting the running man, while making the White man hit that infamous Kid-N-Play dance. The man was fucking shaking as Capp made him dance with him.
Mina was dancing with Luci and bonding over his choice of song. If they all weren’t being held against their will, this would have been beautiful. I cocked my gun back and shot one of my regulars in the head.
Everyone stopped but kept dancing when I looked at their asses.
“What up?”
I shot shorty in her back.
I knew that tramp stamp anywhere, and it was over at Case House a few months ago. The man she was with squealed like a bitch and caught one in the face.
“Let it linger over that way… you, you, and you… the fuck happened? We were family,” I laughed chaotically.
Luci released that button and that flame thrower did its job smoothly, as they all were screaming. He started doing the jerk while spraying them with the thrower, as if it was water coming out and not fire.
“Linger over there, Twin,” I called out another section, while everyone was running to get away. “That’s what the young niggas say, huh?”
Everyone was scared to move. “Did I fucking say stop dancing? Did I say Mother may I, Niggas?” I waved my gun in the air and they started dancing again.
One nigga was dancing so hard that he hit the robot. I shot his ass because why the fuck was he trying to be an overachiever?
“Alex… where yo’ fingassss!” I sang out to the beat of the song, as Luci turned the thrower on him, focused on his hands, but that shit got onto his legs, too.
“Ahhhhhhhhhh!” he hollered out, while I continued to have Luci inflict pain on him.
