Chapter thirty-six
Rico
“Sierra, what does he mean? Lilac? Stripper?” one of the guys asks, but I’m not sure which.
“Not now!” Cyrus’ firm voice answers.
Good, he can handle his band of merry men while I get my anger under control.
I want to wrap my hands around that asshole’s neck and squeeze until his eyes bulge out and take joy in him struggling for breath.
Oh, I will toy with him a little first. Let him take a gasp of air here and there, but only a small amount.
Then I’ll cut off his air supply again as I revel in him taking his last breath.
But there’s bigger fish to fry right now.
His dad needs to die.
Any trace of the video needs to be erased from these knuckleheads’ phones. And for that bitch at her school? I’m going to think of something extra special for her.
I grip the flash drive tightly, tucking it away in my pocket until I’m ready to watch it.
“Rico, can I have it, please? I need to see the whole thing.” Sierra’s voice jogs me from my thoughts.
“No, you don’t. We know who it was and you’ve seen enough of what happened that night. You don’t need to see anymore. I promise you everyone is going to pay for what they did to you. Everyone who had any part in making your life hell.”
Her eyes quickly jump to one of the lookalike twins and the way he glances down at the floor, I can see the guilt written all over his face.
Depending on what happens with him and Sierra, I’ll table his payback, but we will be having a conversation. Actually, I’ll be having it with all of them. If they hurt my sweet niece just once, I’ll fuck them up.
“Fine,” she huffs, crossing her arms and leaning back on the couch.
I pull my phone from my back pocket and scroll through my contacts. I need help and I know exactly who to call.
It only rings twice before his husky voice hits my ear.
“Rico, how are you, man?”
“Well, it could be better. I hear congratulations are in order for you, grandpa.”
“Yes sir. Got me a handsome grandson. But no need to butter me up before askin’ for what you need.”
“I’ve got a problem here, and I need some of your particular skills to handle it.”
“Anything. Just name it.”
“I’ve got custody of my niece now. Her mom passed away, and she went into her shithead of an aunt’s custody and it wasn’t good.
She took her money, let her fucking drug addict man beat the shit out of Sierra, then she and her sister ended up in foster care.
” I can hear some gasps behind me. Guess her new boys didn’t know some of the details.
I don’t give a shit. If they’re going to judge her for it, then they don’t deserve Sierra’s time or love.
“That’s who hurt you?” the one who’s been standing sentinel asks.
She doesn’t confirm or deny, just sits there.
“Anyway, I just found out she was raped by a fucking grown ass man, and that it was all part of some fucking game and he taped it.”
“What the fuck! Are we killin’ him?” Earl’s voice rises with anger.
“Oh, I want him to die painfully. But we gotta do it soon. He’s planning to do the same thing with one of my dancers, and it’s Sierra. He just doesn’t know.”
“Fuck man. That’s a lot of shit.”
“It ain’t the worst, Earl. Some fucking cunt at her school sent the video of the dick raping Sierra to all the students.” I blow out a breath as I pace the floor. The more I talk about what happened, the angrier I get.
“Okay, so here’s what we’re going to do. I’ll have Bash contact you about the videos and how to handle them. The question is, do you want to handle the asshole legally and risk the courts lettin’ him go, or take care of him the Hellion’s way?”
I stop and think about what I want to do. Sierra doesn’t know what he said. Do I want her to know? She doesn’t need to be exposed to the realities of what MC life is like.
“Hellion’s way.” It only takes one look at her to know I’m not letting this fucker have a single opportunity to get away.
“I’ll get the details and some of the boys will be headin’ your way. Until then, don’t alert the fucker. Let him think he’s still going to have your niece dance for him. It’s how we’ll catch him without him suspectin’ anything. I’ll be in touch.”
The line goes dead and I slide the phone back into my pocket. A small sliver of relief hits me that we’re going to put an end to the man who violated my niece.
But I need to know exactly what he did. How he used my niece as a piece in his game. No matter how hard it’ll be to watch it.
“Who was that, Rico?” Sierra asks, scooting closer to Cyrus.
“An old friend who’s going to help us take care of this situation.”
“Okay.”
“Now, tell me what’s going on with the four of you. Speaking of, who the fuck are the three of you?”
“I’m Braxton Stevenson, sir. And these are my brothers, Colton and Zander. We’re classmates of Sierra and our dads are Sam’s foster parents.”
“And I’m one of the dicks who stood back while they bullied Sierra at school.
I believed what Wes told me, even without knowing the whole story.
It’s an error of judgment I will spend the rest of my life making up to Sierra.
If she can ever forgive me, then I want to date her,” Colton explains as he gazes at Sierra with love. Maybe this kid is remorseful.
“What?” Sierra blurts. “Date me? Why? You acted as if you didn’t like me until recently.”
“Yes, I want to date you. I was stupid and cared more about fitting in and believing crap that I wouldn’t normally. But my eyes are wide open now and I want you. I like you a lot and I hope you can give me a chance to show you.”
Sierra goes silent.
“Well, I’m going to speak to all of you.
That includes you, Cyrus. This beautiful woman sitting here is my niece.
While I haven’t been an active participant in her life, she means the world to me.
If she wants a relationship with all four of you, as unconventional as it sounds, I will support her.
Just know the minute you hurt her, I have the ability to make you disappear and no trace of you will ever be found. ”
You could hear a pin drop in the silence that follows. .
“Do you understand me?”
“Yes,” Cyrus answers as the other three nod. Clearly, they don’t know what to make of me and are scared shitless. They need to stay that way.
“Sierra, come with me. I want to talk to you.” Then I glare at the guys. “Alone.”
She stands up, and I take her hand and lead her down the hallway to her room. Stepping inside behind her, I let her hand go and shut the door. Sierra takes a seat on the bed and I sit down beside her.
“I am so sorry for everything that’s happened to you,” I start as I take her hand in mine.
“It’s okay, Rico. You don’t need to apologize. It’s in the past. You’re here now, and we have a chance to get to know each other.”
I squeeze her hand and she looks up at me, locking her green eyes that look so much like her mother’s on mine.
“There are some things I won’t be able to tell you, but this whole issue is going to be handled. That dickhead is going to pay for what he did to you. And the cunt bitch is going to get it also for spreading that video.” “Rico!”
“No, she has to take responsibility for what she did. It was unacceptable and now every one of those fucking punk ass bitches at that school has seen you like that. It kills me.”
She pulls her hand from me and wraps her arms around my neck. “I love you, Uncle Rico.”
Her words cause my heart to beat fast. I’ve lived almost eighteen years wanting to hear them and now I have.
“I love you, Sierra. With all my heart. It’s why I stayed away, so your father would never have a chance of finding you. Now these boys, do you like them?”
She pulls away and laughs. “Really, we’re going to talk about boys?”
“Yeah, we are.” I smirk.
“Umm. Well, Cyrus and I are dating. And I was getting close to Zander and Braxton prior to everything happening. Cyrus says they all want to be with me and they don’t care if they have to share me. How can they be okay with that?”
I hate this. Sharing her. Who shares their woman with another man?
I bite back my thoughts on it. If being with them makes her happy, then I’m happy for her.
“Well, I don’t know how to answer that. I’ve never been in a situation where me and my friends all want to be with the same woman.
So, I don’t know what I would do. Or if I could even share her.
But talking about their feelings with each other is very mature if you ask me.
It’s a good foundation for a relationship like this.
If you want it to work, there's going to have to be a lot of talking.”
She lets out a sigh. In the time I’ve been able to talk to Sierra, talking about her feelings is not something she freely does.
“Am I crazy for actually thinking about it?” she asks.
“No, but the one, Colton, make him work for it. Don’t just let him in.”
“Oh, I will.” She giggles. I give her another hug before standing up.
“Okay, let’s get out there. I’ve got to get to the club and Earl’s going to be getting back in touch with a plan. I’m going to leave you in the safe care of Cyrus.”
She just smiles and follows me as I leave her bedroom.
“Okay boys, I’m out of here. Talk, but that’s it. You treat my niece wrong and you’re all pig food.”
With that, I open the front door and step into the hallway.
I’m going to need a drink to watch this flash drive. But I need to know what happened.
