Chapter 11 #2
“Of course you bitches don’t want to fight me ‘cause none of y’all can beat me.
What you need to do is take Mateo’s dick outta your mouth and fuck on your mate.
It might help you get rid of some bitch ass-ness.
” We closed the distance between us and Naheem.
I stood inches from him, wanting to see his reaction.
His bear was cowering to ours. It was clear his bear wasn’t on the same shit as his human.
“Don’t speak on my mate,” Naheem gritted through clenched teeth while looking as if he was about to cry.
Raising an eyebrow at him curiously, we watched his chest rose and fell rapidly. Naheem was looking and acting like he was about to cry, but we didn’t understand why.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?”
“Are you going to step down?” Naheem asked through labored breaths.
“Is the sky black?”
Naheem’s eyes glossed over. “You’ll regret this, Kenzo. You have more against you than you do for you.” Once he finished talking, Naheem took off running back toward the mountains.
We watched him intently until he was no longer in sight. No matter what the fuck he and those other bitch-ass council members had going on, they needed to leave me the fuck alone.
“That was weird,” Bellamy replied while curiously looking up at me. She looked so innocent and pure. We couldn’t wait until we completed our mating bond with Bellamy.
“No shit,” I replied shortly.
“Don’t get smart with me. I’ll fuck you up,” Bellamy said before putting her hand on her hip and slightly sticking it out.
Looking her up and down hungrily, I licked my lips. “Get fucked is more like it. Now come on. I want to make it there before it gets dark.”
Bellamy made a puppy dog face as she bashfully smiled at me. “Can you carry me again?”
I faked like I had to think about it, knowing I would carry her wherever she wanted me to. “Come on,” I said before wrapping my arms around her waist and picking her up. I stole a kiss from Bellamy then placed her on our back.

A Couple Hours Later
“This isn’t what I was expecting,” Bellamy said as we approached the center of the Kismet Packlands.
Once we made it all the way down the mountains, Bellamy wanted to walk, and although I didn’t mind carrying her, I wanted to put her down so I could look at her pretty face. Carrying her was cool, but being able to lay eyes on Bellamy made our heart flutter every time she batted her eyelashes.
I kissed the back of her hand that was entangled with our hand as we walked. I peered down at Bellamy lovingly. I wouldn’t have been able to mask my feelings for Bellamy if I tried.
“What were you expecting?”
“I dunno. Uncivilized, barbaric wolves running around trying to kill each other.”
I chuckled at Bellamy’s response. “You’ve been to Hollow Valley. Clearly, shifters aren’t the savages you have in mind.”
“I mean humans are there too. I figured the civilized part came from humans,” Bellamy answered with a shrug of her shoulders.
“Humans are the least civilized species Fate came up with. If anyone is barbaric, it’s humans.” We shook our head.
“Well, I’m not barbaric,” Bellamy replied while cutting her eyes at me, an attitude in her voice.
“Good thing you aren’t a human,” I quickly replied.
“Shut up, Kenzo,” Bellamy said while trying to snatch her hand from ours.
I snatched her back to me. “Don’t fuck with me, Bellamy,” I told her while grilling her hard. Bellamy needed to watch herself before she ended up in a situation she couldn’t get out of.
A flash of defiance shot through her eyes, but it quickly went away as she subtly nodded her head. She was still being difficult, but I’d let her make it.
“What the hell? I thought she was dead?” Before turning toward the voice that came from the left of us, we already knew it was Yves. He had his mate, Zamiyah, and their three pups with him. Yves was holding their twins Atticus and Atlas while Zamiyah had their oldest son Apollo.
“Why would he think I was dead?” Bellamy questioned with a frown on her beautiful face. I leered over at Yves like he’d lost his mind.
“Right,” Zamiah agreed with a small frown on her face as she looked over Bellamy.
“Clearly, you kept her in the house and fed her. She’s a lot bigger than she was before.
” I knew the only reason she was taking shots at Bellamy was because Bellum used to fuck Yves and she was feeling some type of way seeing Bellamy.
Normally, Zamiyah was a sweetheart with a positive attitude.
Kind of like Bellamy, Zamiyah wasn’t raised with her shifters; she was raised with humans, not knowing her true lineage.
“She’s not Bellum,” I quickly told Yves.
“Oh, here we go again with that name again,” Bellamy said before throwing her hands up in annoyance.
“You look very similar to her. This isn’t going to be the last time you’re mistaken for her,” I told Bellamy, who had a visible attitude now.
“Well, I’m not her. I’m Bellamy Rose, and I’d appreciate it if you’d pass the message along to anyone else who knows the Bellum girl. And trust me, I’m far from fat. The only thing on me considered fat is my ass.” Belamy said the last part while giving Zamiyah a dirty look.
“This is interesting,” Yves replied while looking at Bellamy with an odd expression. “Ouch!” Yves grumbled after Zamiyah plucked him in his forehead, causing their pups to erupt in laughter.
“I’m the only she-wolf you need to find interesting,” Zamiyah said with a scowl as she grilled Yves.
“Trust me, red-headed she-devil. I don’t want him. He’s cute and all but nowhere near my type,” Bellamy said with a taunting smirk on her face.
“Hoes should only speak when spoken too,” Zamiyah snapped at Bellamy with squinted eyes while looking her up and down.
“I ain’t never been a hoe. Can’t be. Never had a dick inside of me,” Bellamy replied, not backing down from Zamiyah’s intimidation.
We were aware now wasn’t the time for us to be getting hard, but seeing Bellamy hold her own made us proud. We wanted to reward her for not being weak.
“Yves, Bellamy is my mate.” We would never speak to a mated female to check her, not when she had a mate. That was his job.
“Zamiyah, chill out,” Yves told her in a calm but commanding tone. We appreciated the fact that he didn’t hesitate to get his mate back in line.
Anyone could tell Zamiyah wanted to say some slick shit, but she knew better than to go against her mate.
“What bri—” Yves’ question was cut off by the loud squealing of a female.
“Bell, is that really you?” I didn't know that shifter's name, but I had seen her a few times while I’d been on the packlands. The woman ran toward Bellamy with her hands clasped to her face.
“I know her,” Bellamy said more as a statement than a question.
Her face was frowned up. Then, out of nowhere, her body went limp.
Quickly, we caught Bellamy before she could hit the ground.
Fear was the only emotion we were feeling right now.
The only thing keeping us sane was the rising and falling of Bellamy’s chest. We knew she was alive, and that was okay for now.
The she-wolf stopped short with horror etched across her face. “My baby! Please let her be okay,” she said before dropping to her knees in front of us.
“Roselee, you know her?” Yves asked with skepticism.
“I do. This is my daughter,” she answered with her attention on Bellamy’s unconscious body in our arms.
“No time like the present for a family reunion, is there?” Minnie asked as she appeared right next to us. “Yves, call your brothers. We need to get everyone on the same page.” Minnie smiled warmly at all of us.
“What the hell is going on?” I barked at Minnie while still cradling Bellamy’s limp body in our arms.
Minnie tilted her head to the side. “It’s time for truths to be revealed,” she answered with a wink. “Come. Let’s get her somewhere comfortable to lay. It will be a few hours before she wakes.” Minnie motioned for us to follow her, and at this point, we had no other options.
We had no idea what Fate had going on, but our mate had better wake up unharmed or all hell was going to break loose. Fuck whatever prophecy they were trying to fulfill.
