Epilogue
Bellamy Rose
“If you don’t bring your ass home. Both of you,” Kenzo grunted while mindspeaking with me.
“The wardens are calling us home,” I jokingly mindspoke with Halo.
We both decided to take an early morning run in our wolf forms. Since we’d been able to shift again, a day hadn’t gone by without us shifting.
I couldn’t believe I went so long without remembering Halo being my best friend.
The moment I fully connected with my wolf, all my memories came flooding back.
Halo was like a second sister to me. We spent our entire lives together.
Everything didn’t change until her mom killed her dad.
Halo was depressed, and she closed herself off to me.
Eventually, one day, she was gone. My heart was broken because I couldn’t help my friend.
Shortly after that was when they cast that spell on me, and I was with Venus.
“They suck,” Halo joked as we turned around to head back to the Kismet packlands.
Once we made it back, we shifted back to our human forms where we left our clothes.
While taking the short walk toward Halo’s house, we laughed and joked while catching up on all the time we missed with each other.
Upon walking in the house, we were both greeted by Kenzo and Cree’s frowning faces.
A’Miracle was sitting in Kenzo’s lap. The older she got, the more she loved Kenzo, to Cree’s dismay.
“Listen, we’re all for you two reconnecting, but did you forget about us? We need love and affection too,” Cree started with his dramatics.
“Aww, my poor mate is feeling neglected,” Halo said in a baby voice while walking over to Cree.
“You damn right.” Cree fake pouted. “Matter of fact, we might need to take breaks from them. Kenzo stole my pup, and now, Bellamy is trying to take my mate. Something isn’t right with those two.”
Halo popped Cree upside his head. “Take it easy on my friend. A’Miracle likes to be held, and you don’t like to hold her. It’s your own fault she likes Kenzo.”
“Whatever…” Cree grumbled.
“Don’t worry, Cree. Bellamy is going to give me a cub soon, so we’ll be preoccupied for a while.” Kenzo winked at me while teasing Cree.
“Well, hurry up.” Cree continued pouting, and we all laughed at him, knowing he didn’t mean any harm. He was just being his normal self.
“Don’t forget we have to stop by my parents’ house,” I reminded Kenzo. I saw him groan slightly.
My dad had returned from looking for Brynlee, and he’d been giving Kenzo hell.
He had to make sure Kenzo was right for his daughter.
It was funny seeing my dad mess with Kenzo.
Having both my parents back meant the world to me.
We just needed to find my sister. My dad said he lost track of her in the feline territory.
Apparently, she was looking for someone and had left her home.
My parents were going to search for her together soon.
I wanted to join them, but they assured me they didn’t need me.
I prayed we’d find Brynlee. I missed my baby sister something terrible.
“Don’t make that face. My dad likes you,” I chuckled at Kenzo.
“I can’t tell,” he smugly responded.
“Trust me. He told me so.”
“I hear you. Can we hurry up and go? I got something back at our cave I need to show you.” Kenzo winked at me. He stood up before handing A'Miracle over to Cree, kissing her on the head, and then walking over to me and hugging me.
“Oh, yeah. Is this going to be before or after your meeting with your pack?” I reminded him.
Since Kenzo took over as Alpha of the Bear shifters, he changed a few things while adding a few more.
Monthly, he had meetings with his clan to handle disputes, concerns and issues within the Bear shifter community.
So far, everything was working out smoothly for him.
The old council members’ families actually didn’t challenge Kenzo when he stepped up as Alpha.
They all willingly submitted to Kenzo. Probably because they were scared to fight him, but whatever the case, they hadn’t caused any issues.
“This the shit we didn’t want to deal with.” Kenzo kissed me on the lips once he was done talking.
“But we find it sexy seeing our mate taking care of business,” we purred to him before kissing him back.
“Oh, yeah?” he asked with a brow raised. “In that case, let me go boss some bears around.
“Alright. Enough of the mushy stuff,” Cree joked, making us all laugh.
This wasn’t the life I planned for myself, but it was the life I needed. There was nothing I would change on my journey. I had no idea what was in store for us or our future concerning The Great Prophecy, but as long as we had our family and Fate on our side, nothing was impossible.
THE END… For Now.
Another note from Ni’ssan:
Now, before I get into the next part, I want to note that when I say, “The End,” I mean it’s the end of Kenzo and Bellamy’s story.
There is more to come with the Taylor Brother series.
Yes, there are unanswered questions that will be answered in upcoming books that will tie into the story as a whole.
Then Noel and Brynlee are going to get their own books, but they will be spinoffs not connected to the main story line.
As long as things go according to plan! With that being said… Until next time.
