After a stretch, I opened my eyes, clutching to the warm duvet that covered my naked body.

Last night had been really great, especially with the way I slept peacefully after the live making Don and I shared, that ended with my head on his chest and his arms around my shoulders till we slept.

I noticed him standing in front of the mirror where he wore his Rolex watch.

He looked stunning in the white shirt he wore with gray suit and pants.

“Good morning, beautiful.” He offered a smile I found charming, as he headed towards me.

I returned his smile, as he leaned closer to plant a peck on my forehead.

The duvet slipped down my upper half as I sat up, but of course I didn't care that my breast fell freely to the cool air.

He turned to them with a sigh. “How I wish I can play with those two right now.”

“But you can't, why?” I rolled my eyes, answering my own question. “Because you have to get to work to make your company a trillion dollar company.”

He chuckled, nodding, then hesitantly moved past my boobs to the mirror where he took a brush that was used for his hair.

“Can you wait for me to quickly get ready so we can go together?” I threw the duvet off me, standing up from the bed, about to head to the shower.

“No, you'll make me late.” He continued brushing his hair. “And perhaps, didn't I tell you to not come to work till June's found?”

An eye roll. “Don't you think I'll be safer in a company with more security and if I'm within eyes reach?”

“Still, I can't wait till you get ready or else I'll be late and you know I need to work a lot if I want—”

“—to make the company a trillion dollar company, I get it already.” I completed it for him with another roll of eyes and a smile from him.

“So now you get why I can't wait for you.”

“Still, I'm coming to work later today.” I scurried into the bathroom.

Weird how normal it felt walking around naked in front of him. Something I'd never had done a year ago.

A guard opened the door for me, closing it as soon as I was out.

My red heels dramatically announced my presence with each step I took closer into the company.

The fact that about twenty bodyguards trailed behind me made me automatically demand respect.

And as soon as I was in the company, tons of people gave that respect, greeting me so much, one would assume I was the CEO, rather than just a worker like they were.

Walking to Dina, I gave her a smile hoping she'd ignore the presence of the guards.

“Hello Mrs Jones, nice to see you coming so early.” At least she didn't hide the sarcasm in her tone.

“Please don't mind me, I just had a lot of problems choosing what to wear.”

She scanned me from head to toe. “And you chose the right clothes. You look amazing.”

My smile grew wider. “Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself.”

She half snorted half laughed. “Compared to you, I look whack.”

My brows furrowed. “Seriously, you look great.”

When she didn't agree or argue, I picked the pen beside the register book, placing in my name and time of arrival which I sighted on the wall clock.

Then, my attention turned to Dina who seemed to be staring at all the guards in awe.

“How ‘bout Hane?” She asked, turning back to me.

I was certain my face fell, but I tried turning it to a cherry expression. “She left.”

“Left? To where?”

“Believe me Dina, it's a long story.”

It was obvious from her expression that she wanted to ask more but knew best not to. “You know, I have a question for you.”

“Okay?”

She leaned closer, indicating that I did the same, which I did, then she whispered for my ear only. “Were you seriously the meant-to-be anonymous fiancee?”

I moved back, giving her a lop-sided smile. “I think that's something you'd need to figure out yourself.”

She groaned, her face falling. “Seriously?”

With a wink and a wave, I left her presence to the elevator, the guards never leaving me.

A bodyguard pressed the elevator button and so we all entered in once the doors separated. I had no idea how, but I was still in front of the elevator when it closed.

The same man pressed the last floor and we waited till the elevator dinged and the doors separated.

When I stepped out, they all followed, moving with me till I was standing in front of the office.

Was this seriously how my life would be till June was found.

About twenty men following my every day move?

That was discomforting.

I inserted my card into the hole, unlocking the door.

I had expected the guards to follow me into the office, but they didn't and just waited out there.

“You're late.” Don said, staring at me from the desk, a smile playing on his lips.

“Apologies Mr Jones, I just had to look pleasant for my husband.” I moved to him.

He eyed my dressing in admiration. “And that certainly worked.”

His arms wrapped my waist, pulling me to sit on his laps.

“You look stunning.” He whispered into my ears, coating my skin with goosebumps.

“I'm glad you feel that way.” I stared at his laptop, not caring one bit at whatever words were written in it.

His hand found the back of my hair, trailing gently into it.

“I'm so lucky to have you as my wife Eri.” His lips brushed my cheeks.

“I'm happy June left her wedding so I can be able to live with you the rest of my life.”

“I love you so much Eri.” He placed his hand on my cheeks, pulling my gaze from the laptop to his eyes that spoke it all.

The love. The desire. The protectiveness. The treasuring.

“I love you too.” Then our lips met.

His tongue spoke of the love as it savored mine, sucking all the breath from me.

My eyes immediately shut, enjoying the desires, as I placed my hand at the back of his neck, pulling us deeper into the kiss.

I just had to hope my moan wasn't audible when his second hand found its way to my butt, cupping it.

This man was a treasure not worth losing to anyone, especially not someone like June.
