12. Flynn

***Flynn***

There were so many things I should’ve done instead of what I did.

I’d fucking tried, though. I’d left the dining room table early to escape the way her tiny pajamas hugged her curves like my hands wanted to.

I’d taken matters into my own hands- again- and washed a release down the shower drain just seconds before she burst into the bathroom.

I’d fucking tried but there was only so much I could do when she was staring up at me with her eyes more green than blue in the bathroom lighting.

They were heated and open, open in a way I hadn’t seen them before.

Her plump bottom lip was snagged between her teeth and her breath was coming faster and faster with my silence.

Knowing I wasn’t the only one feeling the tension between us was a match to gasoline.

My grip on her hip tightened and I yanked her off the door and fully into my body.

She gasped but it turned into a tiny, quiet whimper when she felt my dick fighting to reach her through the thick towel wrapped around my waist. Her other hand landed on the other side of my chest and I waited two seconds to see if she’d push me away before I dropped my mouth to hers.

I’d wanted to kiss her since the first time Tyler brought her home to us.

Her full lips were stained red and I’d taken in her perfect face and wanted to mess that lip color up.

I’d wanted to know the taste of it and have to wipe it off of my own lips after kissing her like her lips were oxygen to my constricted lungs.

When she smiled, her cheeks lifted and her blue-green eyes lit up with pure joy.

She’d been eager and excited to meet Tyler’s family.

I’d been eager and excited to steal her away and prove that I was the better Calloway brother for her. I hadn’t, though.

Kissing her for the first time made me regret my restraint.

I could’ve been tasting her lips for three years and I would’ve saved her from the heartbreak if I’d crushed Tyler before he could hurt her.

Three years of a control I wasn’t exactly known for snapped at the first brush of her lips.

A rough groan broke free when I felt her red nails bite into my chest. She felt it, too.

I slid both of my hands around to her lower back and pressed her into my body even harder.

I wanted to get stuck to her so I could take my fill and finally scratch the Daisy sized itch I’d had for three years.

Her heart pounded hard enough that I could feel it through her chest. I knew she could feel mine, too, like they were racing towards a curve they couldn’t see around.

None of it mattered. Nothing mattered except her body and mouth against mine.

I breathed against her lips as I pulled back enough to murmur words I’d held back for too long. “So fucking soft. Too soft. I’d break you, Daisy. I want to break you.”

Her breath hitched when I jerked my hips, letting her feel just how hard I was. My words didn’t scare her. She stroked her hands up my chest and around to my neck, tangling her fingers in my hair and tugging enough to sting. “I don’t break.”

It was a challenge. My hands dropped to her ass and we both groaned together. “I’ve wanted to do things to this ass for three long years that would make you blush from top to bottom, woman.”

She gasped loudly when I picked her up and spun around to put her down on the cold marble countertop. Her hands locked around my neck and her eyes widened, seemingly shocked that I’d moved her around like she was my personal doll.

“Not sorry.” I spread her thighs and stepped between them so I could feel her body against mine again.

I kissed her with more of my need bleeding through, nipping at her lower lip until she parted them for me.

The inside of her mouth was warm, soft, and tasted like wine and sugar. It was my new favorite everything.

I cupped the side of her face and tilted her head so I could get more.

She gripped my waist, locking her legs around my back, and kissed me back with just as much need bleeding out from the cracks in our control.

Her lips were plush and her tongue was bold, stroking mine and battling for control of the kiss.

She was the farthest thing from a passive partner.

She was right there, feeling everything with me.

My hands slid higher and hit the silk wrap covering whatever was hiding on top of her head. I didn’t give a shit if there were five men in a tiny trench coat in there, nothing was breaking my intense focus on consuming her, but she did.

“Careful with my hair.” She moaned breathily as I kissed down the side of her throat. “These rollers are bitches.”

I didn’t know what that meant but it was fine. I had other places I wanted to touch. Her robe slipped off her shoulder when I kissed across her collar bone, revealing more peaches and cream skin that had become my favorite color the moment I spotted it.

My teeth against the skin under her ear made her shiver.

My teeth against the thin strap of her top made her hands drop to my shoulders while a rough sound escaped her mouth.

My name was a plea and a curse from her lips when my hands slid under the silky material and inched closer to her perfect tits.

I felt like I’d die if I didn’t feel the weight of them in my hands.

I didn’t get to heaven before she stiffened against me and pushed at my shoulders. She stared up at me with red, swollen lips, and wide eyes. Her breathing was uneven, rough as if she’d been jogging. Her body betrayed her, her hips slowly arching towards mine even as she gently shook her head.

“We c-can’t. This is wrong.” Her eyes squinted like she was in pain as she pushed me farther away and slipped off the counter. Her robe slipped fully off her shoulders and caught at her elbows. “You were supposed to be my brother-in-law.”

I didn’t bother hiding my painfully hard erection fighting the towel. “I’m not your brother-in-law, though, am I?”

Her body shuddered and her eyes dropped to my mouth for a second before she suddenly squeaked and held up two fingers to form a cross. “Stop it. Don’t use that voice on me. I’m trying to be good here.”

I grinned down at her, finding her little finger cross adorable. “You don’t need to be good, sweetheart. I’ll be good enough for both of us if you let me.”

Her lips twisted as she fought a smile. “That’s very presumptuous of you, Flynn. But we’ll never know if you can back up those words. I’m going to step out of this bathroom, go to the right room, and we’re going to pretend this never happened.”

“The only thing I’ve ever been good at pretending was that I didn’t want you for the past three years.” I saw the way her face softened, the way the words hit her, and took a few steps back that felt like hell. No part of me wanted to give her space. “Go on. Dream of me, Daisy Harper.”

She fled like the bathroom was on fire and I heard her bedroom door shut harder than necessary a few seconds later. I braced my hands on the bathroom counter where her ass had been just a minute earlier and stared at myself in the mirror.

“What now, asshole?” My reflection glared back at me. “You just mauled your baby brother’s ex-girlfriend. You should feel at least a little remorse.”

Remorse never came, though. Not after shooting two more loads down the drain. Not after sliding in my own bed and staring at the ceiling for hours. I considered the idea of it but it didn’t fit right. Only desire and a lingering erection stuck. I didn’t consider what that said about me.
