***Daisy***
Ilocked my bedroom door and dove into bed and under the blanket.
The wine drunk was gone. I was sober as a judge and I had been since the first brush of Flynn’s lips against mine.
My mind raced faster than my heart, which would’ve been impressive if I wasn’t about to have a heart attack.
Yanking the blanket over my head, I let out a short scream and then twisted onto my stomach to do it again, into the bed. I’d just made out with Flynn Calloway.
His dirty words banged around inside my skull, embedding themselves into my DNA, and I knew they’d be there long after I went back to Atlanta. He’d wanted me for three years. He’d picked me up and moved me around in a way that Tyler never could.
I rolled back over and covered my face with my hands. “Oh, my God.”
He was strong. And he wanted me. Badly, judging by the intensity of his erection. I could still feel it against my inner thighs, digging in with the strength of a fucking bulldozer. It was impossible not to think about how it would feel inside me.
Groaning loudly, I swore at myself. I’d made out with my ex’s older brother. That was a line you weren’t supposed to cross. So why did I want to cross it so badly? My body was still vibrating with need and I squeezed my thighs together to relieve some of the pressure.
What the hell had just happened?
I wasn’t the kind of woman who did that.
I’d always been a serial monogamist and someone who needed time and connection to feel attracted to someone enough to get physical.
I’d always needed commitment. Apparently, in upstate New York, after getting painfully dumped, my normal morals went up in flames.
Still hearing my own breathy sounds from the bathroom, I shoved the blanket off my head and blew out a hard breath. My skin felt too small and suddenly made of itchy wool. I let my head drop to the side and made accidental eye contact with the drawer with my vibrator inside.
“No.” I dug my palms into my eyes and shook my head, talking to myself. “No. That’s not happening.”
That determination lasted for all of thirty seconds. Shame washed over me as I slipped out of bed and tiptoed across to the drawer. In the tallest drawer of the dresser, so the kids wouldn’t find it, I grabbed toy and hurried back to bed.
It was fine. I just needed to think of something else, other than the Calloway brothers. Anything else.
I shook out my hands and got comfortable.
“Okay… Let’s think about Jason Statham. He’s got the accent…
Jason Momoa? Those muscles are nice. That guy who came into the bakery two years earlier and hit on me with a skill that should’ve been labeled as a weapon of mass destruction? Just pick someone, Daisy.”
I shifted and took a deep breath. I tried to lose myself in someone else but my brain didn’t stray too far from the men in the house with me.
What started as me imagining Jason Mamoa tossing me over his shoulder quickly turned into Flynn’s hands on my ass as he picked me up.
My body finally fluttered back to life at that image.
With my eyes squeezed shut, I let myself have what I truly wanted. The desperate mind could perform magic to get what it wanted and I was performing gold-star tricks to convince myself thinking about my almost brother-in-law wasn’t a horrible plan.
With the self-preserving side of myself muted, it was easy to get back to where I was when Flynn had been between my thighs.
I could vividly see Flynn’s hands slipping under my shirt again and moving up until he was cupping my chest and squeezing just as hard as I liked.
Like he already knew my body. Like he had a road map of everywhere to touch that would ruin me.
My own hands followed the path his did in my imagination, tweaking my nipples until they were hard and aching.
I could hear Flynn’s voice again, whispering filthy words against my waist as he lowered his mouth.
“That’s it, Daisy, open up for me and quit pretending you don’t want me.
” I’d hold onto his hair while he ate me out with the same enthusiasm he brought to life every day.
I was too worked up to linger. I dragged the vibrator down my chest and stomach and slipped it under my bottoms. Playing out a fantasy with Flynn as the star, I felt just how soaked I was when the tip of the vibrator slid through my folds easily. I pressed the tip to my clit, ready to come already.
In my mind, Flynn was still on his knees, those vibrant blue eyes locked on mine.
That was where the fantasy went off the rails, though.
In it, suddenly Flynn and I weren’t alone.
Max and Wes were there, watching me with hunger in their eyes.
I gasped, my eyes flew open, and I came harder than I’d ever come with Tyler.
A loud moan ripped from my mouth as I dug my feet into the bed and lifted my hips, bucking against the vibrator and dragging out the orgasm.
After, breathing hard and instantly panicking, I sat up and tossed the vibrator across the room. It landed in the laundry hamper, hidden from my horrified eyes. I gripped my hair and pulled my knees up to my chest.
Any idea that I was a normal, healthy sexual adult exploded inside me as, against my will, the images replayed themselves over and over.
Fantasizing about one brother was bad enough.
But I’d had the best orgasm I could remember, and definitely the fastest, because I’d pictured all three brothers there, watching and waiting.
I grabbed my cellphone and opened my text thread with Kacey Day, my best friend and the manager of Oopsie Daisy.
I’d kept her in the loop since arriving at the Calloway Estate while also doing my best not to obsessively ask her how the bakery was doing.
I typed out a quick message and then covered my face with my hands.
Daisy: I need to talk to you tomorrow. Something happened. I think I might be a pervert. When can I call?
Kacey: You fucked one of that asshole’s hunky brothers, didn’t you?
Daisy: …No. I didn’t do that. I did make out with one of them, though. And then imagined all three of them while I played Jenga with my BOB, though. What do I do?
Kacey: You played Jenga with your vibrator while thinking about all three of Tyler’s older brothers? You slut. I love it. Lily says it’s about time you welcomed good dick energy into your life.
Daisy: I hate both of you. Is the bakery okay?
Kacey: I haven’t burned it down, yet, if that’s what you’re asking. But if I did, you could take the insurance and move in with your new hot bodied daddies.
Daisy: Don’t call them that. I feel horrible enough as it is. Never mind about the call tomorrow. I don’t need your help. Your help makes me think my deviant personality attracted deviant best friends and I need to put some space between us.
Kacey: You want to talk about deviants? You should see the contraption Lily just bought me for my birthday. There’s a swing and- Lily says I can’t tell you the rest. Apparently, she thinks you’re not as far gone as you think. She says you’re adorably innocent.
Daisy: Tell my brain that. I love you both. I’m going to try to get some sleep so I have the energy to pretend nothing ever happened tomorrow.
Kacey: Love you, too, twat. Instead of pretending it didn’t happen, maybe you should do a little less cooking and cleaning and a little more looking and lingering. If you know what I mean.
I shut my phone off and pulled my pillow over my head.
I’d known that Kacey and her wife, Lily, wouldn’t give me the advice I’d think was right.
They’d quietly hated Tyler for four years and believed I took too much shit from everyone.
Reaching out to my best friends hadn’t been to confess and be chastised and instructed to do better.
I’d been looking for confirmation that I did nothing wrong.
That realization sent a bolt of energy through my body that kept me up for hours.
