Chapter 14 Michael

MICHAEL

“Do you think we should wait?”

“Wait for what? It’s his wedding day.”

“Uh…maybe for him to actually wake up.”

“Like I said, it’s his wedding day. If he lays in bed too much longer, he’s gonna turn into a raisin.”

Groaning, I shut out the voices and rolled over, only to have my pillow torn away from me. I didn’t know who the hell was in here, but they were about to have their asses beaten.

“Go away!”

“Hey, friend,” the person said, tapping his finger on my shoulder, followed by a round of chuckles.

I knew that voice. I knew that voice very well and—

I jerked upright, slamming my forehead right into Sinner’s. He flinched back, rubbing his head as I took in the massive number of men standing in my bedroom.

All of them in tactical gear.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” I shouted.

“Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting a shot to the forehead. You know, it’s rude to hurt people who only come to help.”

“Help with what?” I snapped, flinging off the covers.

Sinner jumped up, backing away from me as he held his fingers up in a hex symbol. “Alright now, we’ve all seen the monster before. We don’t need round two.”

“You came into my room,” I seethed. “Into my house! How did you even—”

He snorted in amusement as Cap, Hunter, Wolf, Alec, Storm, Cazzo…Christ, I looked at them and realized every fucking one of them was here.

“I mean, come on. Did you really think we wouldn’t be able to jimmy the locks on your door?”

“No, but I thought maybe you would have the decency to knock,” I snapped.

Sinner scratched the back of his head uncomfortably.

“Well, yeah. I mean, Cap said we should do that. And he’s right.

We should have, but it was so early in the morning, and we needed coffee and breakfast. You know, it was a long drive.

We left two days ago to get here in time.

And then we were all hungry, as I was saying, and the kitchen was right there, so we thought, why not? ”

I stared at him, trying to figure out what the hell he was talking about. “Why not, what?”

Smirking, he slapped me on the shoulder. “You know, make some coffee, have some breakfast.”

“Quiet!” Blake moaned. “I’m trying to sleep!”

“No can do, little lady!” Wolf said, sauntering over to her. “It’s your wedding day!”

He got right in her face, and I tried to warn him, but it was too late. Her eyes flew open and she screamed, slamming her fist into his nose. Blood gushed as he stumbled back a step, the smile on his face gone as he crashed into the dresser, knocking over everything on top.

“What the hell? I was just saying good morning!”

“In my face!” Blake shouted, jumping to her feet, her breasts and…well, everything, hanging out for everyone to see.

“Jesus, don’t either of you ever wear clothes?” Cap mumbled as he turned his back on us.

“Yes, we do. When we’re in public, but we’re not in public.

We’re in our house, in our beds! And let me tell you something,” I said, stalking forward.

They all started shifting toward the door.

“If I want to walk around naked in my house, on my property, I’ll walk around naked!

And if I want to walk out on my front porch in the buff, I’ll do that too! ”

By now, I had them all at the door, rushing to get out.

“Get the fuck off my property!”

I shouted, slamming the bedroom door in their faces.

Turning with a huff, I stared at Blake, my eyes immediately wandering over her beautiful figure. Fuck, she was gorgeous, and today she was going to be my bride.

If I didn’t kill anyone first.

“Did you know they were coming?” Blake huffed, shoving her hair out of her face as she covered up with a robe.

Sighing at the loss of her nakedness, I slumped down on the bed. “Not at all. Why the hell would they come out here?”

“Uh, because they’re all psychos.”

“Maybe,” I sighed, rubbing a hand over my face. “Fuck, I don’t want to go out there.”

“Well, it’s our wedding day. We have to leave at some point.”

“Do we?” I asked, my eyes darting to her legs. Fuck, she was just so gorgeous.

Getting up, I strode over to her, hauling her into my arms. Fuck, I just needed a taste. Smashing my lips to hers, I tore her robe from her shoulder, sliding it down her arm. Her breast popped out, and my mouth immediately latched onto her nipple.

Moaning, her hand gripped my already hard cock, stroking me and urging me on. “Parker, hurry.”

“Not today,” I rumbled as I backed her up to the bed and pushed her down, lowering myself between her thighs. Fuck, that pussy was gorgeous. Just one taste was all I needed.

She moaned and gripped my hair, tugging hard as I licked her pussy. There was nothing better than being between her thighs first thing in the morning. Sliding two fingers inside her, I groaned as I imagined my cock being wrapped in all this warmth.

“I can’t wait, baby.” Crawling up her body, I nudged my cock against her entrance, sliding inside in one swift movement.

The bite of pain on her face lasted only a second before the lines around her eyes smoothed and the pain was replaced with pleasure.

“Fuck, you make me so hard.” My voice was barely audible as I struggled to hold back from slamming my cock into her.

If it was possible, I would stay inside her all day and never leave.

There was something about Blake that just drove me insane.

Maybe it was her strength or her boldness—the way she walked through life knowing exactly what she needed to do.

Hell, her tenacity was enough to drive me up the fucking wall.

It was one of the things that first attracted me to her.

I knew as soon as I sank inside her that I was where I was meant to be.

And after today, she would officially be mine.

The thought drove me insane, pushing me over the edge as I fucked her slow and hard, dragging every scream and moan from her lips until she was panting and begging me to let her finish.

When she finally tipped over the edge, I couldn’t hold on any longer. I came hard, stilling deep inside her as I pressed kisses to her lips. Her eyes turned droopy as she laid in my arms, smiling at me like the lunatic she was.

Chuckling, I brushed the hair out of her eyes and kissed her again.

“What’s so funny?”

“You.”

“You’re not supposed to laugh at me while you’re still inside me. I’m pretty sure that’s an insult.”

“I’m laughing because I was thinking of how crazy you are.”

That earned me a smack that I’d already known was coming.

“Seriously, you’re so fucking perfect, and yet, so fucking crazy at the same time. I’m not sure how the hell I got so lucky with you.”

“It’s my dazzling personality.”

“That was part of it.”

“Okay, the reality is,” she sighed, “I had you the moment I kicked your ass.”

Laughing, I rolled to the side and tucked her in. “That you did. I’ve never seen anything sexier.”

“Well, hopefully that will be the last time we ever have a fight like that.”

“For sure. Not that I would be able to actually defend myself.”

Pushing up, she frowned down at me. “What does that mean?”

“Well…just that now I know you, I couldn’t actually hurt you.”

“Obviously. I’m tougher than you.”

I snorted at that, to which she glared. “I just…well, baby, I’m bigger. I mean, you’re faster and have some great moves, but let’s face it, I was going easy on you during that first fight.”

Her eyebrows sprang up. “You were going easy on me?”

“Yeah.”

“And what about the second time I kicked your ass? Were you going easy on me then?”

I had the feeling I was drifting into uncharted territory, and I really needed to get the hell out of here. “Baby, it doesn’t matter.”

“Yes, it does,” she snapped, getting to her feet.

“Why?” I sat up, wrapping the sheet around my waist. “Why does it matter who fights better?”

“Well, it didn’t until you made a point of saying that you were better than me.”

“Because I am. I mean, you’re amazing, but you’re wily and tiny.”

“Tiny?” she squeaked. “You think I can’t kick your ass because I’m smaller than you?”

“No, that’s—” Everything was getting twisted around. “Baby, all I’m saying is that I took it easy on you that first night because you’re a woman. And after that, yes, I knew you could take it, but—”

“But what?” she snapped.

“But you’re still a woman!”

Her fist came out of nowhere. Well, honestly, I should have seen it coming. We’d been working our way up to this moment since I opened my mouth, but still, I thought everything would be fine. It was our wedding day, after all.

My head snapped to the side from the force of her hit, but it was the second to the gut that took me by surprise. Gasping, I barely had time to straighten before her fist slammed into the other side of my face.

“Jesus, Blake—”

“Hit me!” she yelled, slamming her foot into my chest and knocking me back against the wall.

Thankfully, there were no pictures to fall on my head.

“What’s wrong? Can’t hit a girl?”

I stumbled to my feet. “Can’t hit my pregnant wife.”

She laughed humorlessly at that. “I’m not your wife yet,” she said, charging right at me.

My eyes widened as I tried to find the best place to grip her so I didn’t hurt her or the baby. Her head slammed into my chest, and she pushed me back against the wall, then slammed her knee into my nuts.

Gasping in pain, I bent over, sucking in a ragged breath as my cock only hardened under the pressure of her hit.

“That’s so wrong,” I wheezed out.

She looked down as the sheet fell, and the look on her face mirrored my own. “What the hell is wrong with you?”

“Wish I knew,” I sucked in a breath. “Can we stop this now?”

“Because I’m pregnant? Because you think I can’t take it?”

Before I could think of how unwise it was to say it, or how I was taking my life in my own hands, I shouted, “Yes!”

Glass shattered as I flew through the window, not for the first time in my life.
