32. Stevie #2

Sebastian’s arm tightens around me. “You are good enough, Stevie. You agreed to help me because you have that fire in you, too. The belief that you and you alone are the only person who can bring it…” He pauses. “Is a gift.”

A few raindrops fall from the sky, sliding down his leather jacket.

“And so are you.” I straightened my arm, my palm pushing into the dirt beneath us. “You are a man determined to rid this world of bad people in the name of people you’ve lost. That is everything.”

His lips meet my forehead, pressing a rough kiss into my skin. “The need to kill has become a part of me, and there’s nothing I can do to prevent it.”

“But your determination—”

Sebastian’s eyes flicker, his expression turns once again. Without warning, his hand wraps around my throat, cutting off my oxygen supply. He pushes my back up against the cold, hard limestone of the headstone. My heart pounds with the sudden shift in his demeanor.

He draws his head back to face me, his jaw clenches. “You’re not afraid of what I do, and that’s something I never thought I’d have.”

“I’m not, because I am who you are inside.”

“I’m so grateful to have you, and anytime you feel inadequate or you have to prove something, you look to me, because I will always remind you of how perfect you are for just being you.” His knuckles caress my cheek. “Now tell me you’re mine.”

I nod. My eyes water from strain while the rain dampens my skin. He releases only slightly.

“I am yours.”

Sebastian’s eyes darken quickly, then he compresses my windpipe again.

“Good.” He leans into me, shifting his body weight so he’s straddling my legs.

“You need to understand that I will not live without you. I have become obsessed, addicted, and utterly strung out on every bit of you.” He dips his head closer, his nose gliding across my cheek.

“Your touch, your smell…” He tightens his grip.

“Your taste. And I promise to show you every single day what type of incredible fucking woman you are.”

If my arms weren’t pinned at my sides, I’d wrap them around him and pull him close—because I am as drugged on him. “Oh yeah?”

“I was mildly infatuated with you when we met, but now it’s reached a dangerous level.”

Sebastian’s mouth glides across mine for a moment, and I try to tilt my head to kiss him, but he pulls away, sucking my bottom lip into his mouth.

A rush of pain shoots through my jaw and into my pussy as he bites down, drawing blood.

The sensation is electrifying. My legs tremble and my hips buck at him, paining to feel him inside me.

“Of course you like this.” He smiles. “Now, tell me you’re mine again.” He loses his grip slightly, letting me pull in air before responding.

My lips part. “Fuck, Sebastian. I am yours.” I suck in a desperate gulp of air, but as soon as I get a full breath, I crash my lips into his.

Sebastian’s tongue sinks into the back of my throat, and all I can do is accept it. His hand snakes through the back of my hair, grasping a thick hold, before pulling me in for a deeper kiss.

“There’s nowhere on this earth that you could go that I wouldn’t find you.” A warm hand slides down the front of my pants. My pulse picks up speed as he slips into the heat between my legs.

My head falls back against the stone. “Oh god.”

“You like that?” He crooks his finger, massaging my most sensitive area.

“Yes,” I moan, opening my legs wider and enjoying how the weight of his body feels on mine. I’m at his mercy, and it’s incredibly freeing.

His finger moves back and forth, commanding my body, pulling me in and then out. I move at his will. “Your body belongs to me.”

“Fuck, yes,” I groan in response. My eyes fix on the cloudy sky above, only small pockets of stars peek through the storm. As my stomach muscles clench and my body breaks out in goose bumps, an orgasm breaches.

“How about another one?” His voice is deep, desperate. Then he slips in a second finger.

My head lunges forward this time, but I manage to free one of my arms and thread my fingers through the back of his head. “Sebastian…”

“And another one.” Sebastian’s lips move down my chin and along my neck.

Adding another finger—because it’s now too much—I lose it all. Reaching my peak, I let out a loud moan, but it’s quickly muffled into a whimper when Sebastian’s mouth seizes mine. He latches on, swallowing my breath. “Mmm.”

The ground pulls me in as my muscles have given out. Panting heavily, I wrap both my arms around him, hoping his body will help me gain my bearings.

“You’re a good girl.” His voice came out raspy.

I smile, although my neck is sore and my body trembles.

He slides his fingers out of me, leaving a cold draft in their place. He brings them up to his lips, sucking them into his mouth. “I’m addicted to your taste.”

My eyes flutter a few times, but as I stare at this man who has awakened every part of me, there’s only one way for me to feel. And I’m not about to acknowledge it.

He stands, sliding a cigarette box from his back pocket and lighting it. “We should head back inside. The rain is picking up.”

“I thought you were going to quit.” I snarl at the sight of his cancer stick.

“It’s a work in progress.” Sebastian peers down at me, the lit cigarette hanging from the side of his mouth. “I’m not smoking as much as I did.”

I roll my eyes.

He chuckles, then holds out his hand for me, helping me to rise to my feet.
