“So what the fuck are we doin’ tonight?” Ari asked as we sat in the hair salon.

I shrugged. “I don’t know. I was tryin’ to figure that out. Raven, you got a move?”

She shook her head. “Nah, lemme see what I can find on IG.”

While she did that, and KeKe was in my hair, I told them about the lil’ date I had with Mario and how I couldn’t really rock with him the way I thought I could.

“So you mean this nigga don’t have no goals, he just placed on the earth?” Ari joked.

I laughed. “Pretty much, he talkin’ bout maybe I could help him. Sir, you are in your thirties. You ain’t have a goal allll this time?’

They laughed.

“Niggas, they want us to do everything for them. How you gonna help him, and you just met the nigga? Big dummy,” Raven added.

“What is goin’ on with you and Pitbull eyes?” Denise chimed in.

I scrunched up my face. “I don’t know… After I got them DMs and talked to Sonya, I kinda fell back off him. I liked him. I love his vibes, and his eyes made me wet. I can’t even lie.”

“KeKe, you be around Brooklyn, have you heard of Rosama?” Denise asked.

All eyes were on KeKe while she styled my hair.

“I was hoping you didn’t ask, but yeah, I heard of him, and I think it's right for you to fall back from him. Every time I have seen him, he’s with a different woman.”

I looked at my girls. “See, I knew it was somethin’ with him.”

They all nodded.

“Well, I'm glad you found out he was no good before you was in too deep.”

I nodded. Whole time, they didn’t even know about all the calls and texts I ignored from him, and when they finally stopped, I wanted them back.

“It is a party tonight around Brooklyn,” KeKe explained. “Some well-known, fine ass twins that were locked for a minute. Brandon and Blaze, I think. They come home today, and the hood is throwing a party for them tonight.”

“Oouu…I like the sound of that,” Raven yelled. “Niggas fresh home, then their niggas come to show luv, then I find me a new nigga.”

I looked at Raven, and she laughed.

“You can find you a nigga too, Nylah, damn. I wouldn’t take them all.”

“You are crazy as hell, but that do sound like the move,” I added.

“This girl done got a taste of a Brooklyn nigga and can’t let go, huh?” KeKe asked.

“It is somethin’ different bout them niggas, ain’t it?”

She nodded. “Listen, when they lock you down, ain’t no lettin’ go.”

After we all got our heads done, KeKe decided to close up and hit the city with us. We did some light shopping while laughing and cracking jokes all day.

By midday, our stomachs were talking to us. While walking, we found a cute lil’ Black-owned place to grab some Jamaican food and catch a vibe for a second.

“Listen, I'm not gonna lie to y’all,” Raven said through bites of her food. “I need me a new eater; my old one be wanting too much.”

“Shit, I need one period,” I added.

“Nylah, you should have used no-goal Mario,” Denise chimed in.

I rolled my eyes. “No! I don’t need low vibrations licking my pussy.”

They laughed, but I was being dead serious.

“Shiiittt,” Ari said low. “I'm sorry, but I bet Pitbull eyes looks good eatin’.”

I sat back in my chair and started thinking bout him with his diamonds in his mouth. I had to shake the thought of him ‘cause I always got wet when I did.

“Ari, don’t get me started,” I said, nudging her. “I'm supposed to be off him.”

“That don’t mean you can't fantasize about the nigga,” Denise added.

And she wasn’t wrong ‘cause I damn sure was.

The day carried on, and we ended up at my house taking shots, vibing, and getting ready for the party.

“I am tellin’ y’all this now,” Denise said. “I am goin’ home with a nigga, so if y’all don’t see me, just know my legs are up somewhere.”

“I second that,” Raven added.

“And y’all already know I'm on the same type of time,” Ari said.

Me and KeKe laughed.

“I’ma slide with my man. He already there and said that it's lit,” KeKe said.

I smiled, glad all my girls had a plan. I planned to just enjoy myself before I had to lock in on my next school project.

After we were all dressed and took enough pictures, KeKe drove us to Brooklyn. I was already lit, but we kept passing the bottle around the whole ride.

When we got to the club, it was live like KeKe mans said. People were pouring from inside the club to out in the street. We locked arms and moved through the crowd of people and made our way in, and I damn sure wish we hadn’t.

Inside was hot as hell. It was wall-to-wall people. The bottle girls were sweating with them damn sparklers. Niggas was causing fights soon as we walked in for bumping into each other.

KeKe saw her man and led us to his section. He got us situated with drinks, then it didn’t take long for KeKe to be hugged up on her man and Ari, Densie, and Raven plotting on niggas they saw when we walked through.

“We are about to walk around, are you cool?” Raven asked.

I nodded. “Go ahead, I’ma sip on my drink.”

They walked off, and I sat there sipping on my drink and swayed to the music while I was on my phone. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw somebody sit beside me. I glanced ova, and it was this brown-skinned, tatted-up nigga with braids.

Once we locked eyes, he moved closer to me.

“Wussup, ma?”

“How are you?” I asked.

“I'm good, sexy. What’s your name?” he asked.

“Nylah, and you?”

“I'm Blaze.”

I looked him up and down for a second. “This party for you, right?”

He smiled. The light caught the diamond in his side tooth, and it danced.

“Yeah, for me and my twin.” He paused and looked me up and down while licking his lips. “I don’t normally do this, but um… I need to see how that body moves. You tryna dance for me?”

I laughed and stood up, reaching for his hand.

“Only ‘cause you just came home.”

I led Blaze out to the floor. He spun me around and pulled me against him.

I could feel all of him pressed against me, almost throbbing as we moved along to the music.

“Damn, girl,” he said low. “You know a nigga just got home.”

I laughed and reached back, pulling him closer into me.

“That’s fine,” I whispered in his ear. “We have all night, right?”

He wrapped his arms around my waist. “We do, Lil’ Mama.”

We danced a few songs, then his people called him off to the side, and I went back to my section to see what my girls were up to.

“Girl, how the fuck you get the nigga fresh out?!” KeKe asked.

I laughed. “That nigga came up to me.”

“And what the fuck is he on?” Raven asked.

“I don’t know,” I said, staring off in his direction. “But I damn sure want to find out.”

Some time passed, and Denise, Ari, and Raven caught KeKe and me up on the niggas they been talking to, when Blaze came back and pulled me up.

“I need to go and handle some business with my people, but can I take you home tonight?”

I pulled away from him, smiling. “I would like that.”

He walked away, and I went back to sit with my girl.

“He asked if he could take me home.”

“And what did you say?” KeKe asked.

“I said yeah, I NEED to be put through the mattress tonight.”

The night went on. Me and my girls were having a ball, getting hit on by different niggas, talking shit, and laughing the whole night. It was almost three in the morning when I felt somebody tug on me, and when I turned around, I saw Blaze.

“Are you ready to go?” he asked.

I almost threw myself on him. “Yeah, luv, I been ready.”

Me, Ari, KeKe, and Denise said bye to each other, then happily went off with our niggas.

“Did you have a good welcome home party?” I asked Blaze.

“It was good, even better now that I am leavin’ with you.”

We hopped in his car, and I gave him my address. As he drove, Blaze wasted no time placing his hand on my thigh, rubbing it up and down slowly as we talked.

Everything bout Blaze screamed jail-made. From the way he talked to his body shape. The way he carried niggas on the phone. He was aggressive and didn't give two fucks about how he said anything.

After a while, we pulled up to my place. He helped me out of the car, and as we walked up my steps, we heard a car door slam behind us.

“Yo,” a voice said, coming from behind us.

We both turned around, and Rosama was standing there.

“Oh shit,” Blaze said, “Wussup, Ro?”

They dapped each other up while me and Rosama’s eyes were locked on each otha.

“You know him?” I asked Blaze.

“Hell yeah, this my nigga!”

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head in disbelief.

“You know her?” Rosama asked Blaze.

“I just met her at the party. Remember I told you I was tryna cake with shorty, this her.”

“You was at the party?” I voiced, interrupting their conversation.

Before Rosama could respond, Blaze threw his hands up in the air.

“I didn’t know she was your people,” he said to Rosama. Then Blaze looked at me. “You are fine as hell, baby girl, but I can’t go against Ro.”

Blaze hopped back in his car and pulled off quickly, leaving Rosama standing on the sidewalk and me standing the steps.

“Nigga, what the fuck is up with you?”

He chuckled. “What the fuck is up with you? Who the fuck you think you are leavin’ my hood with my nigga?!”

I smirked. “He wanted me, I wanted him, we left together, that simple.”

Rosama looked at me as if he was sizing me up.

“You movin’ like you don’t have a nigga.”

I looked around. “Because I don’t, Rosama. We had one date.”

“And I told you what I wanted. That means you're mine.”

I laughed. “What you want and what exactly happens are two different things.”

Rosama walked up on me, so close that all I could smell was his cologne as I looked up at him, trying not to buckle.

“What I say I want will always happen,” he said low.

I swallowed hard. “I don’t move like that.”

“You will when it comes to me.”

I tilted my head. “I don’t have time for a nigga like you.”

“A nigga like me?” he asked. “A nigga like me will give you good dick, keep you stress-free, and take care of you the way you should be taken care of.”

I laughed. “Nah, a nigga like you is a dog. So I’ma carry you like the dog nigga you are.”

Rosama stared at me for a second.

“You ain’t finna do shit, mama.”

“Why the fuck ain’t I?” I asked. “After you took me on that date, I had bitches in my DMs telling me to be careful with you. My own hairstylist even said you change bitches every day. I don’t want a nigga like that.”

“I didn’t know you were a follower.”

“Follower?”

“Yeah,” he said quick. “You following other bitches and listening to what the fuck they sayin’ instead of comin’ to the source. You could have asked me whatever the fuck you wanted, and I would have told you the truth. I don’t give a fuck.”

“You cheat?

“I have.”

“You fuck multiple bitches?”

“If I want to.”

I stared at him for a second, wanting to knock him down the steps.

“Why the fuck do you think I should trust you?”

Rosama softly placed his hand on my waistline, and without speaking, he leaned down and kissed the right side of my neck softly, then the left side before he pulled back and looked me in the eyes.

“Because I want you, and if you give me the chance, I will show you I will treat you better than any bitch I’ve been with.”

I thought about his words as I stared at him.

“You been talkin’ to any other bitches?”

He shook his head. “Man, you had me blowing up ya line like a fuckin’ simp. Hell na, I just want your ass.”

Before I could talk any more shit, Rosama pulled me into him and kissed me like he was taking every inch of tension outta my body while pressing me against him. Once he pulled away from me, I didn’t have shit else to say. My panties were drenched.

“Can I take you inside and take care of you, princess?” he asked softly.

I nodded, unable to form a word when he smiled at me. His diamonds danced under the streetlights as he pulled me inside my own crib and took care of me slowly all night, just the way he said he would, until sunlight, and then we took a break.
