Chapter 17

Scott knew how gay sex worked. He knew why some men enjoyed getting fucked in the butt. He knew how to find a guy’s prostate and nail it on every thrust, how to make the guy wail on his cock.

Until this month, he hadn’t known, however, what it felt like from the other side.

And it felt—

“Don’t stop, don’t stop—oh god, don’t stop—” he babbled deliriously, legs spread like those of a whore as Cam fucked into him relentlessly.

“Quiet,” Cam ground out, gripping his thigh hard. “My downstairs neighbor has hearing like a bat.”

“Fuck your neighbor—keep fucking me like this—oh god—ah—ah—ah—”

It was utterly mortifying. Scott from a month ago wouldn’t have believed this shameless, slutty creature coming apart on another man’s cock was him, Scott Palmer. Scott was a top, and a fantastic one, if he said so himself.

And yet here he was, in Cameron Richter’s Monaco apartment, getting railed within an inch of his life and loving every second of it.

Cam took his leg and hooked it over his shoulder, the angle making his cock drag right over Scott’s prostate.

Scott wailed, overwhelmed by how deep the massive cock was in him, but he didn’t resist. He just lay there and took it—and as usual, got a weird thrill from it.

From being used. From being screwed into the mattress.

“You’re such a pillow princess,” Cam said hoarsely between thrusts, mouthing his neck. “Don’t know why I’m surprised. You’re a spoiled little shit.”

Scott would have liked to come up with a smart reply, but he couldn’t focus. Ah—ah—ah was all that came out of his mouth, his cock drooling against his stomach, trapped between their bodies.

When he came, he almost felt sorry.

He still wanted more. He wanted Cam again.

Again, and again, and again.

The new European branch’s headquarters were in Geneva.

The good news was a flight from Geneva to Monaco—well, to Nice—was just one hour.

The bad news was, a flight from Geneva to Monaco was one hour.

That meant Scott was always tempted to hop onto his jet and fly to Monaco whenever Cam didn’t have a race weekend, and he was very bad at resisting the temptation.

Scott didn’t want to make things weird between them by being too… clingy. God forbid Cam started thinking he was infatuated with him—and of course Scott wasn’t. They were just good friends. Good friends who fucked sometimes.

The sometimes part was the issue. Because the more they fucked, the more Scott wanted it.

Wanted him.

Scott tried to act normal. He even told himself he could hang out with Cam without ending up on his dick, but so far he’d failed spectacularly.

They’d been fucking for a month, and the only times Scott managed to keep his pants on in Cam’s presence were when they literally were in front of the cameras.

He worried he was being too much. Like, Cam had never turned him down and always got hard gratifyingly fast, but Scott couldn’t help but notice that Cam rarely initiated the sex. It was always Scott who pawed at Cam’s zipper, letting him know that he was in the mood.

“He doesn’t really want me,” Scott complained.

There was an annoyed, long-suffering sigh on the other end of the line.

“If he didn’t want you, he wouldn’t have sex with you,” Will said.

“Maybe I’m just easy,” Scott said.

“Easy? You?” Will said dryly. “You’re anything but easy. You’re a headache.”

“You know what I mean.”

“No, I don’t,” Will said. “He’s the world champion and a millionaire athlete with a legion of fans throwing themselves at him. It’s not like he doesn’t have easy options.”

Scott pursed his lips. He didn’t... He didn’t like being reminded of it, of how easy it was for Cam to hook up with someone else. With women.

They’d never discussed exclusivity. Friends with benefits usually weren’t exclusive. Scott didn’t even know why he wanted exclusivity, why the thought of Cam touching anyone else made his vision go red and his stomach twist into ugly knots. Maybe he was just that bad at sharing.

Scott frowned. “True,” he said. “But he prefers women.” And for all he knew, Cam might be hooking up with a woman at this very moment.

“Women don’t have a dick to fuck him,” Will said, very dryly.

Scott chewed on his lip. He hadn’t intentionally misled his cousin, but he hadn’t corrected him either when Will had assumed that Scott was the one who did the fucking.

“He fucks me, not the other way around,” he mumbled, his face warm. He knew there was nothing wrong with that, but…

The silence on the line didn’t help his embarrassment, either.

“What?” Scott said, not at all defensive.

“Nothing,” Will said after a moment. “I’m just surprised, that’s all. You’ve always been…”

“What?” Scott said again, definitely sounding too defensive even to his own ears this time.

“Outspoken about being a top,” Will said. “You bristled every time someone suggested you bottom.”

“People can change their minds.”

“They can,” Will agreed, his tone very mild. “Did you?”

Scott grimaced. He hated how well Will knew him. “Not really,” he admitted reluctantly. “He’s the exception for me. I can’t imagine letting anyone else do it to me. But he—he’s different.”

“I’m starting to get that,” Will said, his voice full of dry humor. “I’m surprised you haven’t told me yet that he’s the One.”

Scott pursed his lips tightly. “He isn’t,” he bit off. “We’re just friends.”

Silence fell over the line again. “Okay, now I’m getting a bit worried,” Will said.

“You’re letting him fuck you—something completely unprecedented for you—and you’re worried that he doesn’t want you as much as you want him, but you still say he isn’t the One?

What happened to my cousin and who are you? ”

“Oh, fuck you,” Scott said without much heat. “It isn’t funny.”

“It isn’t,” Will said, the amusement gone from his voice. “I’m really a bit worried now. It isn’t like you at all.”

Scott plopped down onto his couch and stared at the opposite wall without really seeing it.

“I have it under control,” he said, hating how unconvincing his voice sounded. He had it under control. He did.

Scott ended up video calling Cam half an hour later.

The fact that he was video calling him was a little cringe, to be honest. Scott rarely called people, much less video called them.

Texting was his default, like it was for most people these days.

Will and Cam were pretty much the only people he ever called, but with Cam... Scott wanted to see him, too.

God, that was so damn cringe.

“Hey,” Scott drawled with a helpless smile when Cam’s face appeared on the screen.

“Hi, Scotty,” Cam said, smiling back. The camera was shaking in his hand, and it took Scott a moment to realize Cam was running on a treadmill.

“Turn it off. You’ll trip and hurt yourself,” Scott said with a frown, his eyes roaming over Cam’s mouthwateringly handsome, scruffy face.

A bead of sweat glistened on Cam’s forehead, and Scott had to wet his suddenly dry lips.

Until Cam, he’d never really understood the appeal of a grimy, sweaty man, but now, just looking at Cam and his strong, sweat-dampened body made heat coil low in his stomach.

He wanted to pull Cam through the screen and get him on top of him.

“I can multitask,” Cam said, maintaining his steady pace. He didn’t even sound breathless, the asshole. Then again, Scott knew firsthand just how good his stamina was.

Cam’s lips twitched. “Did you want something, or is this a social call?”

Scott tried hard not to blush at the reference to the last time Scott had called him—he’d been super horny and wanted Cam to talk to him while he jerked off.

It had been one of the most bizarre phone sex experiences of his life—Cam hadn’t even talked dirty to him, but just hearing his voice had been enough.

It had been pretty mortifying, all in all. But very, very hot.

Scott cleared his throat slightly. “There will be a gala on Tuesday to celebrate the official opening of the European branch. Will you come?”

Cam’s dark eyes flashed with humor. “It’s not exactly my scene, sorry. And you know I have a sponsor thing in Brazil this weekend, I probably won’t even be back by Tuesday anyway.”

Scott pouted. “Oh, come on.”

“Stop making that face.” Cam laughed, his fingertips touching the screen. “You look ridiculous.”

“Come on, you attend fancy galas and parties all the time!”

“Only when I have to,” Cam said, snorting. “I definitely don’t go to them voluntarily.”

Scott sighed, his shoulders slumping. “Fine.” He would have loved to have Cam there, but he didn’t want him to suffer through a social event for his sake.

He felt Cam’s gaze on him, steady and assessing. “Are you nervous? About the branch opening?”

Scott shrugged, putting on a nonchalant look. “Of course not. I’ve got it.”

“Scotty.”

He shivered. Fuck, he really wanted to drag Cam through the screen into his room and kiss him. Why wasn’t it invented yet?

“It’s fine. When are you coming back from Brazil, then?”

Cam didn’t reply at once, still studying him. “Probably on Wednesday.”

Scott immediately started mentally reviewing his schedule to see if he could fly to Monaco on Wednesday—and hated himself for it.

God, this was horrible. He was behaving no better than his former boyfriends—the boyfriends that he’d dropped for being too clingy.

And he and Cam weren’t even together! He needed to get a fucking grip, or Cam would start thinking that Scott had, like, feelings for him. Which he didn’t. Obviously.

“Okay,” Scott said. “I probably won’t see you next week, then. I’ll be very busy with the branch opening and everything.”

A wrinkle appeared between Cam’s brows.

Ask me to come to see you anyway, ask me, ask me, ask me.

Scott bit his tongue to stop himself from saying that, more than a little freaked out by the neediness of his thoughts.

What the fuck, seriously? He actually did have responsibilities and couldn’t drop everything and go to Monaco next week, even if Cam asked him.

“Okay,” Cam said.

Scott’s stomach knotted up. Feeling disappointment was irrational. But this confirmed that Cam was totally fine with seeing him once in a while. It was—fine. It was. They were just friends. Friends who kissed and fucked sometimes.

The problem was, the sometimes part was quickly becoming an issue.

But clearly it was just a Scott problem. Cam was clearly fine with the way things were.

And it was fine.

Totally fine.

Absolutely fine.
