CHAPTER 9
GAbrIELA
What was I thinking when I agreed to this boat trip?
The sun was still relatively high in the sky, even though it was past seven, and I was curious to see their boat, but we desperately needed a rest. But something in Lorcan's voice when he invited me made me feel like this was a big deal, and I couldn't say no.
I slept a little and took a shower. Alice was too excited with all the toys, so she played as much as she could until I dragged her to clean herself too.
Oisin told me to layer up, since the boat could get really windy—hats, long sleeves, sweater, and a waterproof jacket. Once we were both ready, we returned downstairs to find them all chatting in the kitchen.
My eyes found the rustic chandelier on the high ceiling, and I breathed out in awe for a second time. The house was so beautiful, I could tell they poured love into every single detail. And not just the house, but everything they did for us to this point. I felt so cared for, I felt the anxiety creeping in. No one ever took care of me. I’d always been on my own, and suddenly, I wanted for nothing.
Bliss and fear collided inside my chest, and I had to keep it all in, holding my child's hand and pretending I wasn't scared for the future.
“We are ready,” I said, brushing the bad thoughts to the back of my mind as I usually did.
Oisin nodded, coming to Alice and checking her layers.
“Approved?” I asked with a small smile.
He turned his attention to me, taking the collar of the jacket between his fingers and then zipping the whole thing up. I could feel his warm hands burning through the fabric. I bit down my lower lip, trying to keep my face straight, but he noticed and smirked.
“Yeah, you look great.”
I wasn’t so sure about that. I was flushed and dressed in too many layers, but his eyes on me made me feel feverish. From the back of my knees to the tip of my ears, I felt warmth enveloping my body. He finally stepped back, dislodging a long sigh out of me.
Tadgh explained the car they picked up was a rental, and now, we were taking their real truck. I followed them outside, Alice and me with Oisin while Lorcan had Tadgh.
The sun dipped on the horizon, tinting the sea in orange, pink, and red. I kept my eyes glued to the window watching the pretty colors dancing in front of my eyes.
This place, this life, belonged to us. I just needed to grab what was in front of me.
What was already mine .
Swallowing dryly, I chanced a look at Oisin, watching his handsome profile. He was so kind, soft, and very masculine at the same time. There was something in the way he talked, how he took up place as the peacemaker, that made me relate to him too much. I just hoped the instinct came from his personality and not trauma like mine.
“You’re okay?” he asked, feeling my eyes on him.
I shook my head and looked away. “Yes, of course.”
The reality was, I was never better, and that was the scariest thing in the world. I was an expert on how to survive the worst life could throw at you, but happiness? No one ever taught me that.
We drove to the port, and Alice jumped out of the car the second Oisin opened it for her. She was so excited, pointing to every single thing we crossed. I had to learn to be like my kid and just accept the good in life.
Their boat was just like I imagined: big enough for the three of them but still modest, painted bright red with finishing gear sticking out to the side.
Tadgh helped us in and then gave us vests to put on, showing us everything, including finding a comfortable seat to wait while they worked on getting us moving.. They put the fishing stuff away, and Tadgh set a table with some snacks they’d packed in a cooler.
The sky was a beautiful purple and pink color now. I breathed out and tried to relax, holding Alice, just enjoying the view.
Until we saw a dolphin.
She gasped, practically jumping from my hold. She was so excited, I was scared she was going to jump into the water, and I held her back a little.
“Hey there, calm down,” I said to her in Portuguese.
“Mom, Mom!” She wasn't listening to me.
I giggled, and Oisin came to my aid, holding a hand out to Alice. She took it quickly, anything to get closer to the dolphins. With Oisin with her, they moved closer to the rails, her eyes like saucers as she watched the dolphins dance.
“Sometimes, we can see whales too,” he told her.
I translated, and Alice was about to cry of excitement.
“Ask Oisin if we can see the whales someday, Mom. Ask him.”
I did, and of course, the man said yes. I didn’t think they could say no to Alice. In one day, she had them all wrapped around her finger. Even Lorcan, with that tough exterior, melted every time he looked at my kid.
She was a good kid, though. Beautiful, kind. Anyone would love her quickly.
We watched the dolphins as they swam, Alice’s eyes glued on them until the last second. “Come on, let's go.”
She came reluctantly, but Tadgh had sandwiches waiting for us, and that was as a good distraction as any.
“I wish we had something more sophisticated,” he said, his ears coloring in pink.
God, how was a big man like that also so cute? He was tall, broad, and masculine, and he was also incredibly cute.
“Stop. We aren't fancy, are we?” I said, eyeing Alice, who was already devouring her sandwich.
“No,” she confirmed between bites.
I licked my lips when I polished it off and drank all my water. Alice fired off questions about the boat while we ate, but soon, her eyes started to droop, leaning on me until she fell asleep sitting.
“Here,” Lorcan offered. “I’ll put her to bed.”
He took Alice in his arms and went down the small stairs, disappearing below the deck to where I know they kept a small bed to rest.
“She didn't rest back at the house. She was too excited about the toys,” I explained.
Tadgh gave me the biggest smile I’ve ever seen. “She really liked it, yeah?”
“Of course!” I laughed. “We’ve never been so spoiled. It’s…”
I swallowed the words, feeling self-conscious about how much this meant to me. I wasn't ready to confess my fears just yet; this was so new. I had no right to be this attached to the life they were promising me.
It was also not fair to them. Just like I wanted them to like me for me and not the omega thing, I wanted to like them for them and not the life I could have here. The security was tempting, but I needed more. I needed to be in love.
God, that was ridiculous. I was never exactly a romantic person—at least, I didn't think I was—but since I took the omega test and matched with them, I’d started to grow this thing inside me that wanted to fall in love.
Oisin reached for the cooler once again, raising a chilled white wine bottle. “What do you think?”
“Please,” I said quickly.
Oh, I needed that wine more than ever.
They chuckled, and I rushed to say, “I can’t remember the last time I had wine.”
I never drank because I was always the only one responsible for Alice. What if something happened and I needed to drive her to the hospital?
Oisin served me a large glass, and by the time Lorcan was back, they had glasses for everyone.
“Is she okay?” I asked him.
He nodded. “She woke up for a second, but was more than happy to go back to sleep. What does…hm, baleia mean?”
I giggled at his pronunciation. “Whale. She really wants to see the whales.”
He dipped his chin. “We’ll bring her before summer is over.”
I tried my wine, feeling funny when I felt it sharp behind my molars. I kept drinking while the guys made loose plans for bringing Alice and searching for a whale. They were all serious, trying to make sure not to disappoint her.
“What happens now?” I asked them, cutting through the whale watching plans.
“What do you mean?” Tadgh wanted to know.
I lifted a shoulder. “With us.”
“What do you want to happen?” Oisin asked.
Of course, Oisin would be the one to ask that. I chewed my bottom lip, brushing my hair from my face. “I want it to be easy. I don’t want to feel nervous.”
“Are you nervous?” Lorcan pinned me with a look.
I snorted—he of all people would ask me that.
“Yes, very. I said it before, I don’t know what you all are looking for. I don’t know if I can do that. I…” I sipped from the wine for liquid courage. “It’s been a long time since I had sex.”
Oisin opened his mouth to say something, but Tadgh cut in, “How long?”
“Long,” I spilled the beans. “Three years?”
Maybe more. I remembered a one night stand a long time ago. Alice was young, a toddler? Maybe younger.
It wasn’t very good, so of course I promptly forgot. And at that time, Alice’s dad was still in town, and while he wanted nothing to do with us, he also didn’t want anyone else with me. He chased the guy away, but I wasn’t exactly sad about it.
Tadgh breathed in slowly, checking with the other guys before turning to me again.
“Tell me what you want.”
The three of them turned to me so seriously, I felt my cheeks warm. “Me?” I shook my head. “I don’t want anything. You guys did too much. I?—”
“Gabriela,” Oisin called my name in a way that made my heart stop. “Tell me what you want.”
Surely they weren't asking sexually, right? I looked straight to Lorcan like he had an answer, but he stood there, not moving a muscle except for the tick of his jaw.
“You want to know how this works? Maybe we should start there. Tell us what you want, and we do it,” Tadgh said.
I sucked in a breath, my eyes doubling their size.
“Tadgh let her…” Oisin started, but Tadgh’s hand lifted, his eyes never leaving me.
“There’s no judgment here. You can whisper if you like.”
I was so worried about what they wanted from me, I never asked myself what I wanted from them. I took another sip. The wine burned its way down my throat, and I felt it all the way down in the tips of my fingers. I licked my teeth and urged myself to just be that girl, to just say what I was looking for.
“I want to come,” I blurted out. “I’ve never orgasmed with anyone.”
My skin felt suddenly too tight for my body, and the silence didn't help me feel more comfortable. I wanted to hide, wanted to suck the words back into my mouth, but before I could laugh and pretend it was all a funny joke, Tadgh smiled.
“We can do that.”
The warmth of shame became desire so quickly, it gave me whiplash. My lips parted, and I didn't doubt him for a second. If anyone could make me come, it was them.
“Come here.” He tugged my hand until my body was flush against his, and with practiced fingers, he undid my safety vest.
Lorcan growled but Tadgh chuckled, not looking at his direction. “Just for a minute so she’s comfortable.”
I swallowed the lump in my throat, panicking rising as Tadgh looked me straight in the eyes.
“Breathe, Gabi.”
Yes, of course. I breathed out slowly from my mouth, and right when I was convincing myself to relax, he tugged my hand, pulling me to him until I was on his lap.
I was a midsize woman with a big ass and thick legs, but Tadgh acted like I was just a little doll. He moved me around until my legs were looped outside of his, my back to his front. My heart was hammering so fast, it was only rivelled by how much I was shaking.
“Everything is fine,” Oisin said, appearing by my side and sipping from his wine slowly, as if this happened every day.
Oh God, did this happen every day?
I just met them. I had no right to demand anything, and yet the idea of anyone having their attention twisted my guts in a way I didn't expect.
Instead of voicing my new fear, I focused on Lorcan, his large figure standing right in front of me.
“Stop scaring the girl, Lorcan,” Tadgh said.
“He’s not?—”
I shook my head, but before I could finish, Tadgh sucked my earlobe into his mouth, and the words melted into a sinful moan. Electricity ran down my spine, and I squirmed on his lap, feeling his erection nestled between my cheeks.
Oisin and Lorcan’s eyes on me only made it hotter. I had no idea I was into that type of thing until they were there, watching me with so much intensity.
Tadgh placed his hand between legs and found my clit so easily, even over the leggings. My hips surged forward, seeking friction as he used two fingers to apply pressure. As he moved them in a circle, he eliminated any doubt he could make me come.
Oh God. I was half way there.
My legs shook, and I let out a whimper. I couldn't understand how he commanded my body like that even over my clothes. If it was his skin on mine, I'd have come all over his fingers already.
I threw my head back, and his lips came to my neck in a kiss before his hot tongue darted out to taste my skin.
“Oisin,” Tadgh said.
Without any explanation needed, Oisin stood from his spot and kneeled between my legs. He hooked his fingers over the band of my leggings and started to pull them down. I couldn’t stop myself—my eyes went to the door leading below deck.
One of the reasons I never went after men was because of Alice. I didn’t want her to go through life like I did with my mom’s parade of boyfriends, never knowing the man who was rummaging through the kitchen cabinets in the morning. I was scared enough to always lock my bedroom, even when I was too little to understand why I was doing it.
I just couldn’t do it. I never wanted Alice to feel like I did.
Lorcan moved as soon as I hesitated, parking his large body just in front of the door, as if he was keeping guard. I smiled a little before lifting my hips and letting Oisin remove my pants and my underwear in one move.
Of course, Lorcan was the one to notice my uncertainty. He watched me all the time, reading between the lines of everything I said. I wanted to thank him, but the words never left my lips as Tadgh brought his hand to my clit again, the feeling of his bare skin untying a knot inside my heart.
“She’s so wet,” Tadgh announced, and I felt my cheeks warm.
“I can see it,” Oisin agreed, his eyes never leaving me.
My chest heaved—it was already too much. Tadgh spread my lips with two fingers, showing me off to the others, and Oisin hissed. I felt his warm breath over my pussy, and my toes curled.
My hips jumped again, and Tadgh held me back, his other arm banding across my stomach. I was so vulnerable like this, but all rationale had gone out the window when Oisin licked his lips while staring at my pussy.
His reaction to my body was something out of an erotic novel. I never thought I was the stop traffic kind of beauty, but they made me feel incredible. No words, no flattery needed. I knew it was desire by the way they looked at me. The wet sounds from me mixed with the sounds of the sea, my whimpers growing as Tadgh worked me so tight, I felt lightheaded.
“Look at you,” he whispered. “You’re so wet, so needy. You’re going to come all over my fingers.”
I nodded in agreement. I could already feel the orgasm coming, and we had only just started. Tadgh increased his pace, and I moaned, calling out his name. My knees tried to close out of reflex, but Oisin was quick, holding them apart.
I needed Oisin too. He looked so good between my legs, his powerful, calloused hands holding my knees apart. I needed him so much, I couldn’t sit still anymore. My eyes devoured Oisin, my hips bucking, trying to get closer.
“Put your mouth on her, Oisin. She’s begging for it,” Lorcan said, his voice low.
My eyes found his, and I held his gaze. How did he always know what I needed? How someone who I just met could understand–
My thoughts short-circuited when Oisin placed his mouth on my clit and sucked. Tadgh kept me open with his fingers and offered me to his pack brother.
“So sweet,” Oisin said between laps of his tongue.
Something hot unraveled from my chest, curling at the base my spine, bringing goosebumps to my skin. Tadgh took my earlobe between his teeth at the same time he pushed two fingers into my pussy. I screamed without a sound, and he pumped me fast as Oisin used his tongue.
My nipples pebbled even under the layers of clothing, every part of my body alive and singing for them. The orgasm came crashing like a wave against the boat. It took over my body in all directions, curling my toes and throwing my head back for me.
“Oh shit,” Oisin took his mouth from me, his lips shining with my arousal.
I winced, knowing what just happened, but Tadgh asked, “What?”
Oisin’s slow smile was sinful. “She just squirted.”
“What?” Tadgh moved his head, trying to see.
Oisin cleaned his lips with the back of his hand and then took my knees and brought me closer to him while I was still on Tadgh’s lap.
“Do it again.”
“I—” I couldn’t do it every time, but I knew I could. Only a couple of times in my life when I was this turned on had it ever happened, but I knew my body could do it.
Oisin didn't waste any time. He was back lapping at me, my pussy still so sensitive, unintelligent words flew out of my mouth. I held his hair, not sure if I wanted him closer or away from me.
Tadgh licked my neck, and I tipped my head to the side to give him space.
“I want a turn too,” he said in my ear. “I want to drink from you, omega. Can you feed me?”
My head whipped in his direction, words failing me again. He smirked, searching in my eyes until his lips came for me and we finally kissed.
His fingers were damp from me as he held my cheeks while he devoured my mouth. Tadgh’s kiss was powerful, delicious, desperate. He bit my bottom lip and came for more before I could breathe, before I could ask myself if I was doing things right.
Tadgh took my breath away, and with it, he took my doubts. I became all instinct, and instinct wanted more.
I kissed him hard and kept my fingers buried in Oisin’s hair, rolling my hips.
“Fuck yeah. Ride my face.”
His voice carried so much lust, it took me there a second time. Tadgh brought his hand under my clothes, passing over the soft rolls of my stomach, and not for a second did I feel self-conscious. All I felt was the rush until he reached my breasts and took a nipple between his fingers.
My orgasm was slow this time, a never-ending explosion that left me breathless.
“I can feel it,” Tadgh said, rolling my nipple between his fingers. “You’re drenching my trousers, fucking hell.”
I giggled, of all things. I could feel it too as my cum leaked slowly down my legs. I wanted that again and again. The fever rook over, and all my thoughts were absolutely filthy. My nervous fingers found the zipper of my jacket, and I fought the layers of clothes. Lorcan walked to me, a crease between his brows, and he stopped me mid-action before lifting his hand to my forehead.
“She’s getting there.”
“Where?” I asked, licking my lips, wondering if he could touch me a little more.
But he removed his hand and stepped away. Instead of his place in front of the door, he went to the boat’s controls to take us back home.
“Heat, angel.” Oisin stood, my face right in front of the bulge of his pants. “You’re starting your heat.”
Part of me was relieved. For a moment, I wondered if I wasn't too broken to fall into something this intense. I was wrong. My heat was here, and it was everything they warned me it was going to be.
It was now bubbling inside me, a delicious fever that took me with all it had. Oisin and Tadgh worked together, getting my clothes back on. My legs were jelly, so I let them dress me as if I couldn't do it myself.
The arousal wasn't just the slick want between my legs or the way my nipples screamed for attention. It made me territorial. I want them to look at me and only see me. I wanted to slide to my knees and take them in my mouth until they craved me and only me.
The way back to the port was smooth. I couldn’t stay still, so Oisin and Tadgh took turns with me on their lap, kissing me slowly and keeping me in check while I tried my best to get them to do more.
It was a floodgate. Once it was opened, I couldn’t close it anymore. My leg bounced up and down while Oisin had me, kissing me slowly. This was a different type of hunger from Tadgh, and I rolled my hips on top of him.
“You’re killing me, angel.” He buried his face in my neck.
“I just need—” I whimpered and bit down on his bottom lip.
He brushed my hair away from my face and took it in his hand, a strong hold that made me tilt my head back, his eyes steady on mine. “You need me to knot you, angel? Bury my cock so deep inside, you don’t know where I end and you start?”
I only nodded. It was exactly what I needed—it sounded heavenly.
“You’re perfect,” he whispered and kissed me again. “Fucking perfect.”
When he finally saw the lights in the port, Oisin had us on our feet, dragging me to Lorcan. “Bring her home. Tadgh and I will get Alice to Clodagh.”
