Knox's Lost Brother

At twelve, Knox runs from an abusive foster home and ends up on the streets with his foster brother, Dean.

At fourteen, a dangerous encounter with a drunk brings the police into his life and places him with social worker Robin Foster, though he trusts no one in the system and resents the house he is given.

He goes back to the city for Dean, only for Dean to send him home again and urge him to take the chance of a normal life.
