TYSON
When the pint sized woman slammed into me in the bar I didn’t think that I’d be going home with her, yet here she was. Her juicy thigh fit perfectly in my hand and my cock was straining against my zipper painfully. I was not this guy.
I was not the guy who brought home girls from the bar. I was not a smooth talker. If anything, I was awkward as fuck and scared woman away with my large stature. The slightly crooked nose and the corrected cauliflower ears didn’t help either.
I glanced across the truck and she turned towards me. “Where are we going little guy?”
I snorted…fucking snorted. Which caused her to go into another giggle fit.
“I figure you get called big guy, sasquatch, beast…all the big associated names all the time. I see Little Guy worked out in my favor. You have a good laugh. It’s as sexy as the rest of you.” She laid her hand over mine. What was happening to me?
“You are correct, not many people call me Little Guy.” I couldn’t stop myself from flipping up the middle console.
“Come here Lemon.” She slid over, her already short dress sliding up further.
“That’s better.” Once she buckled back in, she shimmied into my side and I put my arm over the back of the truck seat.
I should at least try to be a gentleman at some point.
“I don’t know if I’ll be able to stay awake for a night cap.” She laid her head on my shoulder. The smell of her hair wafted up and my dick became impossibly harder. I didn’t want to be a creep, but having her this close was intoxicating in the best way.
We pulled up to my townhouse and she was sound asleep.
I rented this place a few years ago and I liked it well enough, but it didn’t feel big enough.
I had to duck under doorways and the cupboards were too low.
Cooking was a pain in the ass. And my furniture that I brought looked comically large in the space.
This was supposed to be temporary, but I never could bring myself to leave.
She woke up when I turned the truck off in the garage. I got out first and pulled her into my arms from the driver's side. It was easier that way, and I had more of a reason to put my hands on her too. “Adelaide?”
“Hmm…” Her sleepy eyes opened and she smiled softly.
“You have two options, cuddling in my Alaskan king bed, or cuddling on the couch.” Bed. Please say bed.
“Couch.” She said sleepily. I wasn’t likely getting any tonight and for the first time in a long time I didn’t care. I pointed to the couch, then went to the cupboard and got out hot cocoa and Baileys Irish Cream liqueur.
“Have a seat, I’ll bring you down a shirt to wear.” I called behind me, skipping steps to get upstairs. I’d also be getting out of this button up shirt and jeans. There was no way I was cuddling with a beautiful woman in fucking jeans.
By the time I returned, the kettle was whistling. I tossed the shirt on the back of the couch and went to the kitchen. “Marshmallows?” I called over the kitchen counter.
“Now that’s a nickname.” Adelaide started to giggle again. I glanced over and she was curled up in one of my blankets, her dress in a pile on the floor. She must have found the shirt I threw over the back of the couch. “I’ll take marshmallows please.”
I couldn’t stop myself from shaking my head. I really liked this girl. “Excellent choice.” I piled marshmallows in the mugs and walked to the living room.
“I didn’t take you for a hot chocolate guy.” She sat cross legged on the couch, both hands wrapped around the mug and the blanket wrapped around her like a cocoon. She was fucking adorable.
I dropped in the corner behind her, which happened to be my favorite corner, and she backed into me without me saying anything. “What kind of guy did you take me for?”
Adelaide shrugged. “I don’t know, whiskey, bourbon…something sophisticated. Not hot chocolate with Baileys Irish Cream.”
“I clearly enjoy dessert.” I patted my stomach.
She nearly launched into a giggle fit again. “Riiiggghttt. I don’t believe that for a minute. I felt your abs under your shirt in a crowded bar.” She was checking me out. That brought me more satisfaction than I expected.
“Do you make a habit of feeling up strangers?” I pinched her arm and she giggled again.
“Only when they are as handsome as you are.” She put her cup down, then twisted around so that her legs were over my lap then picked her cup back up. “It’s hard to talk to someone when you aren’t looking at them.” I liked this view better anyway.
“Fair enough.” This was my version of trying to play cool. What the fuck was wrong with me? “So, Lemon, what do you do for a living?”
“I’m in media.” That was vague. Intriguing.
“Oh, that sounds…pretentious.” It didn’t. It fit her. It fit her fucking well. She was clearly a clever woman who didn’t belong in a cubicle somewhere. She was a ‘corner office with spectacular views’ kind of woman.
Adelaide fidgeted, then blinked a few times. “Hold on…my eyes are bugging me. Hope you're ready to give me a ride home tomorrow. I can’t see worth a shit.” She popped out her contacts and revealed bright hazel eyes.
“Holy shit. Your eyes are gorgeous.” I couldn’t stop myself from staring.
“Thanks.” A blush…what the hell. Something else that made her adorable.
“It should be a crime to cover them up with colored contacts.” I stroked her cheek and she leaned into my hand.
“Well, I’m sort of recognizable with my hazel eyes and style of glasses, so when we go out I put on colored prescription contacts and oddly enough people look over me. No one wants that freckled, red haired girl.” She stopped herself. Clearly her self-talk was flawed because she was gorgeous.
“Why would you say that?” Suddenly I wanted to get a washcloth to make her wipe off her makeup. Freckles…my kryptonite.
“It’s just how it goes Tyson.” She patted my hand. Like this was completely normal for her, hiding her beautiful face and who she really was.
“That’s insane. You're gorgeous.”
The blush creeped down her neck, I needed to quit while I was ahead. Embarrassing her didn’t earn me her phone number. “You're in media? What kind…”
“I’m a publisher at City Women. But kind of a catch all too, I help everyone out.”
I think my mouth hit the floor, actually went through the floor. To the basement. “Holy shit.” I’d definitely heard of City Women. It was the biggest publishing company in the midwest. They had a magazine that was huge, and their online presence was unmatched.
“Dear god I hate telling people that.” Adelaide hid her face in her hands.
“I cannot fathom how you’d hate telling people that.” She didn’t need me, which made her that much sexier. I hit the jackpot with this one. I’m glad I turned around to go after her, I’m ecstatic actually.
“I hate the attention. I just wanted to do something for myself and it turns out hearing about women’s health and wellness is what sells. Women want to know more about their bodies, from eighteen to eighty and I can help them do that.” She buried her face in the blanket.
I squeezed her hand, “Are you fucking kidding me?”
“No. It’s embarrassing. I hate the attention on me. Talk about you. What do you do?” This would be tough.
I thought I’d blow her out of the water with my career choice but she won.
“I’m an MMA fighter.” I motioned to the wall of photos and new articles, “Well I was, until I injured my knees in what should have been a career ending fight. I didn’t stop fighting and they are fucked.
I have the knees of a hundred year old man.
” I stretched one knee out and it cracked.
“I started a gym for guys either like me looking to burn off steam or young guys looking to start a career, stay off the streets. You know that old adage.”
“That’s amazing. Really. Very cool.” She leaned her head back and dear god my lust was back.
Seeing her neck stretched out made me want to kiss it, from her chin to her ear down to her fucking amazing chest. My eyes drifted further down to where the blanket fell open and I could see her nipples through the t-shirt fabric.
“Quit staring pal.” She swatted my hand and pulled the blanket back tight around her body. Great…I fucked myself over. Again. “Good job on the hot chocolate. Solid choice.”
“Thanks. It’s my favorite.” The conversation died down, but not in an awkward way. Adelaide smiled at me then went back to sipping the drink in her hand. “Would you come upstairs with me?”
“I thought you’d never ask.” She smirked. I’d do almost anything to see her smile because of something I did.
I’ve never moved faster in my life, at least not recently.
I put my empty cup down on the coffee table, leaned forward, wrapped my arms around Adelaide and picked her up.
She wrapped her legs around my waist, her warm, soft body melted into mine and I was fucking done.
I needed her. I needed every inch of her, right now.
