50. Adelaide

ADELAIDE

After Tj and I picked out one of everything we went to the front row seats that Vance had saved for us.

I put Tj between Becky and I. I’d like to say I was just making sure he was comfortable by being by his mother, but I really didn’t want to sit by her.

So I put a ten year old boy between us. For his good right?

“What did you get?” Becky looked at the snacks in his arms. “Anything for me?”

No. “Of course. Would you want Gatorade, water or Coke?” I showed her the options in my hands.

“Water is fine.” Becky grabbed the bottle and sat it at her feet. Which annoyed me and she didn’t even really do anything.

I then pulled out a couple bags of chips and candy. “Want anything?”

“Chips.” She reached for a bag and then sat back. She couldn’t say that I was a bitch to her. That was always my goal, what’s the worst she’d say? That woman bought me snacks. How dare she?!

The lights went down and we looked towards where Vance and Tyson would come out.

Then music started that felt like it was pounding through my chest and Vance came out.

He had his head ducked down and just like on TV, the robe hood pulled over his head.

Tyson trailing behind him. People were cheering for Vance as much as they were cheering for Tyson.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around, Sophia was standing next to me. “Girl, did you think I’d miss your boyfriend's big fight?”

I was speechless. She pulled me into a tight hug. “Tyson sent me a ticket too.” She motioned to the empty seat next to me.

“Of course he did.” I rolled my eyes. He thought of everything.

“That man cares a lot for you.” She whispered into my ear.

“I know.” I turned around and motioned towards the people behind me. “This is Tj and Becky.”

“Nice to meet both of you.” She said politely, then turned back to me. “We have A LOT of catching up to do, but first let’s watch Vance kick ass.”

The lights went down and Vance’s component walked out to a slow song that I didn’t recognize. Once he was in his corner, then the lights zoned in on the corner that Vance and Tyson would come out of. My eyes zoned in on them as they walked out. Tyson looked so proud.

Then Vance. He was so fucking hot. He shook out his arms and hands, hopping from foot to foot. Then they were in front of us in the ring. “I see you got your ticket.” Tyson looked at Sophia, then winked at me.

Sophia laughed. “Yeah, I got it.”

“Come here Adelaide.” Vance was leaning through the ropes and using one finger to call me over, sending chills down my spine. “Now.”

I stepped past Tyson and up to where Vance was. “I think I might be a distraction for you this close.” I kissed his cheek.

“Quite the opposite. The sooner we are out of here, the sooner I can have these beautiful lips wrapped around my cock.” He ran his thumb along my bottom lip and then kissed me softly.

“I’d say wish me luck, but I don’t need it.

” He stood up and turned back to Tyson. “Same threat to you, darling.” His voice was low so that only Tyson and I could hear him but it was enough for both of us to be grinning like idiots.

I sat back down by Sophia and she fanned her face. “That was fucking hot.”

“Keep your voice down.” I slapped her leg. But I agreed with her, that was fucking hot.

“What! I call it how I see it.” We turned back to the ring, the other opponent was huge, bulky huge. Not necessarily tall. Vance had told me that he was a powerhouse but Vance is faster and that’s how he wins.

I squeezed Sophia’s arm. “He’ll be alright you know.” She said into my ear through the loud cheering.

“I know.” I kept my gaze trained on Vance as he stood nose to nose with the other man.

The announcer pointed to Vance, “And now introducing the champion fighter out of the red corner, a champion boxer, twenty one wins, no losses, he stands at six feet tall and one hundred and eighty pounds, fighting out of Madison Wisconsin, Vance Langston!” I had chills.

Vance was in the zone, he was no longer making heart eyes at me. He was zoned in on the other guy.

The other boxer was announced but I was so focused on Vance I didn’t see or hear the other guy’s stats. “Ladies and gentleman, this is the main event of the evening, and now it’s time!”
