{Third person's pov}
After dropping Kiara he immediately went to his father's house, he had questions for his step mother.
He immediately parked his car and walked inside the mansion just to witness their happy family having breakfast. "Ekansh?" His father looked at him.
Ekansh sternly looked at his step mother before speaking, "Why did you do that?"
"Do what?" His father asked, but he stayed silent, waiting for his step mother's reply. "Why the hell did you do that?" This time his voice was High as he pushed her plate from the dining table, making it shatter.
"What is this behaviour Ekansh?" His grandmother asked and he glared at her. "I am fed up, stop it already. You guys snatched my mother already and now you are after my wife?"
Ekansh's father frowned and walked towards him, "Why would we do that, and your mother took her own life."
"Oh shut up please, she did that because of you, you were so busy in loving this woman that you forgot you had a son and a wife waiting for you at home. It's all because of you." His father raised his hand but Ekansh held his hand.
"I am not that kid anymore, Who got beaten by you." He yanked his father's hand and faced his step mother.
"Why did you send that man to take advantage of my wife? Why are you so insecure and jealous, I never interfere in your Happy family, you gave everything to Ekansh and I didn't complain, why are you behind us then?" He asked stepping closer to his stepmother.
"This is the last warning to each one of you, even if me and my wife get a single text from you guys, I won't spare anyone, I will burn you all to death. I am breaking all the ties with you all. So stay as far away as you can." His glare had disgust for them.
"Oh look at him so grown up that now he can take his own decision." His grandmother sarcastically commented.
"I grew up that day I lost my mother, I wish your son would have grown up on time and understood his responsibility, I also wish you guys have grown up enough to understand the truth without being blindly in love with your son." He replied sternly.
"Not a single step from you guys." He warned me again before turning back towards his father, "You failed Mr. Shekhawat."
As Ekansh stormed out of his father's house, he felt a mixture of emotions coursing through him. His conversation with his family had brought back old wounds, reopened old scars.
He took a deep breath, trying to reign in his anger and frustration. He walked towards his car, his footsteps heavy and resolute. He was done with his family, done with their toxicity and their games.
............
A week passed by, Kiara was waiting for her husband to pick her up, she loved her family but now she was habitual of leaving with Ekansh. This one week felt like an eternity.
As the door bell rang she walked towards the window excitedly but it wasn't him, she sat on the bed again. Being impatient.
The door bell rang again and she did the same, this time it was him. She happily ran downstairs just to witness her father welcoming him. Their eyes met and he smiled slightly.
"Come son, sit." Her father said, and he shook his head, "I apologise uncle, but I have a few works to take care of. We will just leave." He tried to be polite.
Her father nodded understanding his business, "Kiara," he looked at her and she walked towards her father, he gently caressed her hair and pecked her forehead. "Come back again my child."
Kiara Nodded and her mother hugged her, "I will miss you." Kiara nodded, her eyes tearing up too. "I will miss you too mumma."
Ekansh watched the heartfelt exchange between Kiara and her parents with a mixture of emotions. He felt a pang of longing for his own family, but he quickly brushed it aside, focusing on the task at hand. He was here to take Kiara back to their home, back to their own life.
As Kiara finished her farewells, she walked towards him, her eyes still teary. He offered her a small smile, reaching out to hold her hand. "Ready to go?" he asked softly, his voice low and soothing.
She nodded as he opened the door for her.
The drive was silent, only the noise of cars could be heard, as they reached a less crowded area he pulled the car as the side.
"I missed you so much baby." He whispered and immediately hugged her, she hugged him back, her face hidden in the crock of his neck.
He held her tightly, his arms encircling her slender frame. He inhaled deeply, the scent of her familiar perfume filling his nostrils. "I missed you too," she murmured, her voice low and filled with sincerity.
He ran his fingers through her hair, relishing in the feeling of her body pressed against his. It had been a long week without her, and he was desperate for this moment of closeness.
She broke the hug and stared at his face before pecking his lips, as she was about to pull back he grabbed her neck and kissed her deeply.
The kiss was deep and intense, filled with all the pent-up desire and longing. His hand on her neck pulled her even closer, eliminating any space between them.
He kissed her with a fervor that surprised even him, his lips moving urgently against hers. He needed her, needed her touch and her presence like a drowning man needs air.
She broke the kiss and looked at him, "Let's go home first." She whispered.
He nodded his agreement but couldn't resist stealing one more kiss from her before pulling away and starting the car again.
The drive home was quiet, apart from an occasional look or touch from one of them. The anticipation was palpable, the air thick with unspoken words and unbridled desire.
As he pulled the car in the parking lot of their mansion he walked towards the passenger seat's door and opened it.
As she was about to get down he picked her up in her arms making her gasp, but she immediately coiled her hands around his neck.
He held her tightly in his strong arms, cradling her against his chest. He closed the car door with his foot before heading towards the house.
There was an intensity in his gaze as he looked down at her, a mix of passion and protectiveness. With every step, he could feel her heart beating rapidly, her body pressed close to his.
He walked inside their bedroom, looking at Kiara Rookie immediately started jumping and barking to get her attention, "Aw my baby." Kiara whispered looking at him when Ekansh kept her down on the bed.
Rookie immediately jumped on the bed and jumped in Kiara's arm. As she caressed him Ekansh walked towards them, "Hello Mr. Rookie, get down for now." He picked the dog up and placed him in his bed.
"Let me have my wife." He whispered and climbed on the bed making her crawl back.
