Chapter 33 Weird #2
"He's not a good guy Azalea," Grey tells me seriously and my palms get sweaty. I think I'm seeing that.
"A while back he came here solely to tell me that I'm no good for you and that he was better," he tells me and I close my eyes.
"Better for me than you? What, he wants me like you have me?" I let my eyes widen a bit. Grey nods.
"And I believed him and I shouldn't have," he adds.
"That was the day we broke up, wasn't it?" I question quietly and he nods. I lean forward and kiss his lips gently.
I wrap my arms around him and he lays his head in my neck.
"Love you," I smile, giving his cheek and nice ole smooch.
"Who loves me?" he tilts his head.
"I love you."
We stay silent for a moment. Then I open my big mouth.
"Your initials spell GAK," I chuckle. It's funny because the Nickelodeon slime they sell is called Gak. I think one time I bought it. Why did I use to like slime so much? It wasn't even that long ago either that I liked it.
"Thank you for telling me," he grips onto my hand and brings it up to his lips. I spot his new computer that sits on his desk.
After Aaron leaves, I'm fixing to ruin this new one too with my illegal movie sites.
"Some dude is out front asking for Azalea," Jai pokes his head in and my heart drops to my toes. Grey just wants to talk, everything should be fine.
Jai, Oaklee, and Lincoln follow us. Nosy heifers.
Walking to the main section of the restaurant, I see Aaron. He looks nervous. Grey lets go of my hand, his demeanor never changing from calm.
"What's going on?" Oaklee asks me as I stop and Grey continues to walk toward Aaron. I don't think I want to be a part of the conversation if I'm being honest.
"Aaron tried to kiss these amazing lips," I tell him and his eyes widen.
"Damn," Lincoln winces standing behind me and twirling my hair. I think he really likes my hair.
I watch as Grey gets closer and closer to Aaron who looks to be getting more and more nervous.
Grey throws his fist into Aaron's face as soon as he's into reach of him. I gasp in shock.
He said he wanted to talk!
"Oh shit!" Oaklee calls out, "he rocked his ass!"
The door to the back busts open and more guys file into where we are. None of which make any attempts to get Grey off the smaller, shorter, and skinnier, Aaron.
Shoot, I'm not going near them either.
Two punches in, Grey takes a seat at a random table waiting for Aaron to get back up. He still looks calm.
"You just can't get it through your fucked up head that she's with me and she doesn't want you," Grey's jaw tenses looking down at Aaron who's struggling to get up.
"It's one thing to talk shit," Grey stands, leaning down to Aaron. He grips him by the hair on his head, lifting his head up so he's looking directly at him.
"It's another thing when you try to fuck with my girl," Grey releases his hair, and Aaron's head hits the ground kinda hard.
"You don't know shit about her," Aaron sneers and Grey scoffs. Oaklee rolls his eyes beside me.
"That man knows everything about you Azalea. Trust me, I know. You're all he talks about. I know more about you than whoever the guy on the floor is," Oaklee narrows his eyes at Aaron.
"Last night you had to have done something to piss her off because she was at the party all up on me," Aaron claims and my eyes furrow.
In the famous words of the man under the initials GAK, ex-freaking-scuse me?
"Good try, kid," Grey grabs him by the shirt and lifts him up. His light blue polo is covered in blood from his nose and mouth and Grey smirks at the polo. He tosses him out the door and closes it, locking it. He really hates those polos.
"Look at you Grey," Oaklee whistles, "mama bear."
"Why're you touching her?" Grey looks a Lincoln and Linc slowly takes his hands off my hair.
"Her hair is like the softest clouds, it's hard to resist," he answers. Grey reaches out for my hand and pulls me back against his chest.
"My mom would never cheat on my dad," Oaklee smiles at the two of us, giving me a wink.
"I brought your coffee your majesty knight in shining armor," Theo bows slightly handing Grey his coffee.
"I hate every single one of you," he grumbles, pulling me closer to him.
"He just got got!" I smile up at Grey. He places a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"He got got for trying to kiss those amazing lips," he chuckles.
"Dad laughed."
"Get electrocuted you fuck," Grey mumbles as a response to Oaklee.
I follow Grey into his office under the watching eyes of the guys still in the hallway.
I close the door gently behind me and he's stopped in the middle of the room, faced away from me.
I feel my heart constricting. I don't know what he thinks about this whole thing. Even worse, one of the only people who I trusted and still loved, lied and I don't know why he lied.
"Grey, I promise you that I never touched his dusty lips and I was never all up on him," I take a deep breath, controlling myself for the time being.
"He was drunk at that party and I did see him there and he tried talking to me about you and then he tried to kiss me and I threw a drink over his head. I wouldn't ever do anything like that to yo-"
He turns around and cuts me off. He grips onto my arm and pulls me into his chest.
"I know you didn't do anything, idiot," he leans down, kissing the side of my head.
I let out a breath of relief and sink into him.
"I was sitting over there," barbeque sauce on my titties, "having a heart attack when he was talking about me cheating on you."
"You wouldn't cheat on me," he shakes his head.
"Duh."
"Because you love the fuck out of me," he says confidently.
"I do love the freak out of you. Do you love the freak out of me?" I give him a little chest bump that only knocks me back and not him.
"Fuck yeah, I love the fuck outta you," he slaps my butt but not that hard, "showed you that last night."
My eyebrows rise up.
My phone rings.
"Didn't know I was famous," I laugh at myself and answer my phone.
"Guess motherfreaking what?" Abby's voice questions excitedly through the phone. I get excited too, feeding off her excitement.
"What?" I shimmy happily and Grey chuckles gripping onto my hips.
"Roman asked me out on a date!" she squeals and I gasp excitedly.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!" I smile so widely my cheeks hurt.
"It's tomorrow, and he hasn't told me where we're going. I'm nervous. Can I come to your place tomorrow? You can help me get ready," she says and I feel myself rising off my feet and into the air.
This is what I've been waiting for. The true girl-friend things.
"Of course!"
"Okay, great. I'll be there around four. I've got to go but I'll see you tomorrow Azalea!" she bids goodbye and we hang up.
I let out a squeal and throw myself at Grey. He catches me in the air and I squeeze the life out of him.
I think the coffee I have is making a little wild. Or maybe I'm like this anyway.
"Roman asked Abby out on a date and I cannot contain myself," I kiss his cheek, face not booty, over and over.
"Aw, you're so cute," I tell him and he pulls away from me.
"Stop it, let me love you," I hug him tighter.
"Cute my ass."
"Yes, your booty is cute," I laugh at him and he pinches my gluteus maximus.
~~~
Grey, once again, appears unamused.
"Turn that little frown upside down Sugar," I give him a smile of my own.
I sort of forgot Abby was coming today and I had told Grey that we had the whole day to ourselves. Now he's pouty. He's frowning and sitting his only-boxer-wearing self on our bed in protest.
Abby will be here any second.
"Unless you want Abby to see your goodies, I'd put clothes on," I warn him. He only raises his eyebrow like 'see if I care.'
Abby is a wonderful person and I trust her but she's not about to see all his goodies. I walk to the closet and grab him a pair of gray joggers and a shirt. I throw it at his head and he still doesn't move.
"Grey I'm going to throw you off a balcony."
I slap his thick thigh just because it was looking extra juicy. He grips onto my hand and pulls me onto his lap. The slap backfired.
He starts kissing my neck.
"Put clothes on," I mumble.
He bites my neck gently but with enough force to make me gasp.
I reach behind him and grab the shirt I threw at him. I suddenly lean back and yank it onto his head.
Bam sucker, you can't beat me at this game.
He doesn't take the shirt off but he does yank mine off.
"Excuse me sir," I sigh. I yank my shirt from his hand and putting it back on he grasps onto the buttons of my pants.
"Grey Alexander, I swear," I warn and there's a knock on the front door. I roll off of him and button my pants back.
"Put your clothes on!" I stomp my foot. He smirks.
"I'm going to open to door. When I see you next, you best have something else on your body," I point my finger at him and go to open the door.
Abby and I hug excitedly once I've opened the door and I invite her in. She comes in carrying three bags of makeup and possible clothing that she's going to wear for tonight.
"Is Grey working today?" she questions, noticing how his presence isn't in the same room as me like it usually is.
"No, he's here. He's acting like a donkey at the moment," I roll my eyes, a smile threatening to break out on my face.
From the corner of my eye, I see him moping down the hallway.
"Well hello darling, I'm happy you've decided to clothe yourself," I smile at him and Abby giggles.
He looks at me slightly scrunching his nose and mimicking my words to himself.
Abby and I make our way to me and Grey's room where we sit for a good hour and plan out what she should wear and do with her hair and makeup.
Grey called me twice asking when I was going to be done talking about bull-poop and come into the living room to effing "love him."
After Abby puts on her amazingly planned out outfit, I curl her hair for her and she does her own makeup. I'm not really one to know that much about makeup, not wearing that much myself.
My younger self tried the whole makeup thing. All the YouTubers couldn't even help me so I gave it up. Especially after one incident where I looked like a clown by accident and scared Jake.
I miss him.
She becomes finished up and we both stare at her in the mirror.
"I think you look marvelous," I smile.
"And you think it's good for the occasion? Not knowing what it is?" she questions nervously. I look at her black off-the-shoulder shirt and her light jeans. It may not be much but with the shirt tucked the way it is and it being nicely form-fitting, she looks classy and appropriate for any setting.
Heck, even a strippery. Or strip club whatever it is.
"I think it's perfect. I have an idea," I shout Grey's name and there's no response.
I'm going to kick him in the throat if he doesn't freaking answer me.
I call him on my phone and he answers.
"Get your booty cheeks in here," I tell him once he picks up and then I hang up. I hear him mosey down the hallway.
"What?" he grumbles, coming to where we are.
"Look at this outfit. What do you think of it, as a guy, for a date," I draw the scenario and he looks at me like I've just told him to kiss a cactus.
"Don't be weird, it's a question," Abby adds.
"Exactly, don't be weird, it's not weird, answer it," I urge him and he looks at her outfit then back at me.
Yeah, Abby isn't me but it's just an outfit.
"I don't know how you want me to answer the questio-"
"I don't want you to answer it in any certain way, I want you to be honest," I place my hand on his back comfortingly.
"You're asking too much of me-" A crease forms between his eyebrows and I internally awe at him. He's just adorable.
"Okay. Calm down, look at me," I tell him and he looks down at me, "you're single-"
He cuts me off.
"No, I'm not."
"Sugar, this is a scenario, it's okay, you're not single really," I pat his booty.
"You're single and you see a girl. You're all like 'holy guacamole she looks like my next lady friend, let me ask her on a date,'" I make my voice deep like a man's.
"I don't think I would be like that at all," He dismisses it and I hush him.
"She says yes to the date and y'all set a time but you don't tell her where you're taking her," I explain and I can already see a question forming in his brain.
"Why don't I know where I'm taking her?"
"No you do know but you didn't tell her," I tell him.
"Where am I taking her?" he asks and I pinch the bridge of my nose.
"A flippin' meth lab Grey, I don't know."
"I'm confused," a small little smile grows on his lips.
"Y'know what? Does this outfit look good or not?" I point to Abby and he looks at it.
"Uh-" he trails.
"Okay, that's enough good job, thank you for your help, you did amazing," I grab his hand and pull him out of the bathroom.
"I think I lost brain cells from that," he mumbles.
"That's what crack will do to you, okay? Go back to the living room and I'll be in there in a few minutes."
He leans down and I give him a soft kiss.
"Try to rest your brain for the rest of the night, I think you worked it too hard back there," I tease.
"Shut up."
