28-Only for you.

begun in the lives of Vaidehi and Gayatri-the preparation for UPSC and IPS.

But the road was not easy. Waking up at 5 a.m., studying for hours, physical training, current affairs, mock interviews.

.. everything felt like preparation for a war.

Samrat had enrolled Vaidehi in the city's biggest and most expensive UPSC Academy.

He himself came to drop her off on the first day.

It was morning time. A light cool breeze was blowing.

Vaidehi was wearing a white kurta and black jeans, her hair tied in a ponytail.

She had books in her hands and an strange seriousness on her face.

Samrat was leaning against his black Range Rover.

The sleeves of his black shirt were rolled up, black sunglasses on his eyes, and the same old arrogant aura on his face.

The entire academy gate was scared looking at him.

Gayatri whispered in Vaidehi's ear, "Dude.

.. looking at your husband, it feels like some mafia don has come to buy the academy.

"

Vaidehi started trying to hold back her laughter.

Just then, Samrat looked at Gayatri with cold eyes, "Miss Gayatri.

.. if the gossip is over, then go inside.

You have come here to study, not to make reels.

"

"Yes... Jiju..." Gayatri immediately straightened up.

Vaidehi burst out laughing.

Samrat immediately looked at her.

"You think this is funny?" he raised an eyebrow.

Vaidehi said with a smile, "A little bit.

.."

Samrat came close to her. So close that Vaidehi's breath hitched.

He slowly touched her cheek with his fingers.

"Listen carefully, Vaidehi," his heavy voice was directly affecting her heart, "The dream of becoming an IPS is yours.

.. but now your responsibility is mine. Don't miss meals.

Don't take too much stress. And if any boy tries to be friendly more than necessary.

.. then I will end his career before it even starts.

"

Vaidehi's eyes widened, "Samrat Ji!

"

"What?" He made a completely innocent face.

"I am just being protective."

"Not protective.

.. possessive," Vaidehi mumbled.

Samrat leaned in slightly and whispered near her ear, "Very possessive.

"

Vaidehi's face turned red instantly.

Just then, some boys inside the academy started looking at Vaidehi.

Perhaps because she was the city topper, everyone recognized her.

One boy said to his friend, "Dude, this is that city topper.

.."

Samrat's gaze went straight to that boy.

Just one look.

A chill ran down the poor guy's spine, and he immediately looked the other way.

Gayatri whispered to Vaidehi, "I swear to God.

.. murder is written in your husband's eyes.

"

Samrat heard it.

"Miss Gayatri," he said while taking off his sunglasses, "Your focus should be on UPSC.

.. not on my expressions."

Gayatri went silent immediately.

Vaidehi was now unable to stop herself from laughing.

After that, the orientation started.

The classroom was very big. Large maps were put up in front.

On the projector, slides like Indian Polity, Constitution, and International Relations were running.

The faculty started explaining-

"UPSC is not just an exam of knowledge.

It is an exam of patience, discipline, and mental strength.

To become an IPS officer, you will have to be both physically and mentally strong.

"

From that day on, their lives changed completely.

Jogging at 5 a.m.

Then newspaper analysis.

Then NCERT books.

Laxmikant for Polity.

Thick notes of History.

Economics classes.

Current affairs discussion.

Mock tests.

Essay writing.

Gayatri would remain troubled half the time.

"I don't want to become an IPS!" she would scream, closing the book.

Vaidehi would laugh, "Only two chapters are done.

"

"My soul has left my body in two chapters!

"

But Vaidehi had changed.

Now there was a strange determination in her.

She could study for hours without getting up.

And Samrat...

He was with her at every step.

At night, when Vaidehi would get tired while studying, Samrat would bring coffee for her himself.

"Stop now," he would say while closing her book.

"You are human, not a machine."

"Just one more chapter.

.."

"No."

"Samrat Ji..."

"I said no, Vaidehi.

"

His voice would be so dominant that Vaidehi would go silent.

But the very next moment, Samrat would pull her into his lap and say while running his fingers through her hair, "Your health comes first. Dream later.

"

One night, Vaidehi was sitting in the library room making notes.

Her eyes were closing with sleep.

Samrat came inside.

He saw Vaidehi was about to fall asleep leaning on the table.

He went and stood behind her.

"Baby.

.."

Vaidehi raised her head slowly, "Hmm?

"

Samrat took the pen from her hand and closed the book.

"That's enough for tonight."

"But there is a test tomorrow.

.."

"You need sleep more than revision.

"

Vaidehi puffed out her cheeks, "You are very strict.

"

Samrat smiled slightly.

"And you are very stubborn.

"

He leaned down and kissed Vaidehi's forehead.

Then suddenly, he picked her up in his arms and started taking her out of the room.

"Samrat Ji! Put me down! I am not a kid.

"

"I know," Samrat said, looking at her, "Unfortunately.

.. you are not a kid anymore."

His gaze was so intense that Vaidehi's heartbeats quickened.

In the next few weeks, everyone in the academy knew that it was not safe to hover around Vaidehi.

Once, a boy came to take notes from her.

"Vaidehi, if you want, we can go to the library together-"

He hadn't even finished his sentence when Samrat's voice came from behind-

"She doesn't want to.

"

The entire corridor went silent.

The boy turned and looked, and Samrat was standing leaning against the wall.

Black coat, intense eyes, car keys in hand.

That boy was literally scared.

"S-sorry sir.

.."

And he ran away.

Vaidehi held her head.

"Can't you behave normally?"

Samrat came close to her.

"No."

"Why?"

"Because you are mine.

"

Hearing this, Vaidehi's face turned red.

In the evening, after the academy finished, it started raining.

Gayatri ran with her umbrella, "I am leaving!

You two do romance comfortably."

"Gayatri!

" Vaidehi shouted in embarrassment.

Samrat laughed.

He took Vaidehi's hand and led her to a quiet corridor behind the academy building.

There was no one there. Only the sound of the rain.

Vaidehi asked slowly, "Why did you bring me here?

"

Samrat did not answer.

He slowly came close to her.

His fingers rested on Vaidehi's waist.

"You are looking very beautiful today.

"

Vaidehi's breath hitched.

"Samrat Ji.

.. someone will see."

"Let them."

He slowly lifted Vaidehi's chin.

Both their eyes met.

"Do you know how hard it is for me?

" Samrat said in a low voice. "Leaving you among so many people all day.

.. and keeping control myself."

Vaidehi smiled slightly, "You are over possessive.

"

"I know."

The very next moment, Samrat pulled her towards him and kissed her lips.

Vaidehi's fingers tightened on his chest immediately.

Outside, the rain was getting heavier. Samrat's kiss was intense as always.

.. but this time there was a strange softness in it as well.

A few seconds later, Vaidehi stepped back in embarrassment.

"Enough... go now."

Samrat tightened his grip on her waist.

"Not happening.

"

"Samrat Ji..."

He leaned near her ear and said in a heavy voice-

"Tonight.

.. I am not letting you sleep early. It's been many days, Vaidehi.

"

Vaidehi's face was completely red.

She immediately punched Samrat on his chest.

"Shameless!

"

Samrat laughed.

"That's still better than those UPSC toppers who flirt with you.

"

"Nobody flirts with me!"

"Good," he strengthened his grip on her waist, "Because I don't share what belongs to me.

"

Vaidehi hid her face in his chest while blushing.

Raindrops were falling on both of them.

On one side, the difficult journey of becoming an IPS had begun.

..

And on the other side, Samrat's love, his possessiveness, and his dangerous passion were becoming deeper day by day.

But they didn't know yet...

That the real storm of their lives was not very far away.

So, to know what is going to

The rain had now become even heavier than before.

The corridor behind the academy building was almost empty.

Lightning was flashing in the distant sky, and a cold wind was blowing continuously.

Vaidehi's light pink saree was drenched in the rain.

The wet pallu was clinging to her waist and body.

Her open hair, wet from the raindrops, was falling over her face.

She kept trying to move them away, but Samrat's eyes just wouldn't leave her.

Samrat kept looking at her for a few seconds without blinking.

There was that same old dangerous passion in his eyes.

.. but now, love had also been added to it.

"Why are you looking at me like that?

" Vaidehi asked shyly.

Samrat slowly came closer to her.

"Because you are making it very hard for me to behave.

"

Vaidehi's heart started beating fast.

"Samrat Ji.

.. let's go home," she said softly.

But Samrat did not reply.

His gaze fell on the wet pallu of Vaidehi's saree.

The very next moment, he caught the pallu with his fingers and pulled it slightly towards himself.

Vaidehi's breath hitched.

"S-Samrat Ji.

.."

Samrat had come very close to her.

Raindrops were falling from his hair and sliding down her neck.

"Do you even realize," he said in a low, heavy voice, "how beautiful you are looking in this saree?

"

Vaidehi immediately lowered her eyes.

Samrat slowly placed his hand near her stomach.

As soon as she felt the warm touch of his fingers, a shiver ran through Vaidehi's entire body.

"Samrat Ji..." she whispered gently.

Samrat caught her waist and pulled her even closer to himself.

Both were now so close that their breaths were clashing with each other.

"Stop being so shy, Vaidehi," he smiled, "You are my wife.

.. not a stranger."

Vaidehi hit his chest lightly.

"You only think of romance all the time.

"

"Especially with you."

Samrat grabbed her hand and slowly took her towards his Range Rover.

The rain had become so heavy that both were completely drenched.

As soon as the car door opened, Samrat suddenly lifted Vaidehi into his arms and laid her down on the back seat.

"Samrat Ji!" Vaidehi panicked. "Someone will see!

"

Samrat leaned over her.

"Windows are black," he said very calmly, "No one will see anything.

"

Vaidehi's face turned red.

Outside the car, raindrops were falling continuously on the glass.

Inside, the mild scent of perfume and wet soil was lingering.

Samrat took out a red rose from a bouquet kept at the back.

He kept looking at it for a few seconds.

.. then slowly dropped that rose on Vaidehi's stomach.

Vaidehi shivered slightly.

Samrat's gaze went from her face down to the rose that had come to rest near her navel.

"Samrat Ji..." Vaidehi closed her eyes in shyness.

Samrat leaned in and came close to her ear and spoke in a very low voice-

"Even in the raindrops, there is a fire today.

..

Perhaps because my life is hidden in this wet saree.

When I look at you, it feels like even the weather gets jealous.

..

Because perhaps God himself has created such beauty for the first time.

"

Vaidehi immediately hid her face with both her hands.

"Just stop it..."

Samrat laughed slightly.

"You blush too much."

He slowly picked up the rose that had fallen on Vaidehi's stomach.

.. and kissed it very tenderly right there.

Vaidehi's breathing became terribly tangled.

Samrat came back up. He took her cheeks in his hands and started giving small kisses on her face.

"Why are you so cute?" he asked in a whisper.

Vaidehi was now completely nervous.

"Samrat Ji.

.. please..."

But Samrat was not one to stop.

He slowly moved her saree pallu slightly away from her chest and placed his lips near her collarbone.

Vaidehi's fingers immediately gripped Samrat's shirt.

"Relax..." Samrat said while caressing her waist. "I am right here.

"

After that, he kissed very slowly above her chest.

A soft moan escaped Vaidehi's lips and she closed her eyes tightly.

Samrat's breathing had become heavy now.

He rested his forehead against Vaidehi's forehead.

"You drive me crazy, Vaidehi."

He slowly started to unbuckle his belt.

Vaidehi's heart began to beat even faster.

But then...

Suddenly, Mrs. Arora's scary voice echoed in her mind-

"You will never be able to become a mother.

..

You will yearn for children..."

Vaidehi's face turned completely white.

Her breathing became rapid with nervousness.

"No..." she whispered.

Samrat stopped.

"Vaidehi?"

The very next moment, Vaidehi pushed him away and pulled herself apart.

She quickly sat up and covered her face with her hands.

Tears started flowing from her eyes.

Samrat understood immediately that something was wrong.

"Hey... look at me."

But Vaidehi kept shaking her head continuously.

"No Samrat Ji... no..."

"What happened?

"

Vaidehi's voice was trembling.

"If.

.. if I can never really become a mother?

If Mrs. Arora's curse comes true?"

Samrat's face turned stern immediately.

He held Vaidehi's face with both hands and turned her towards himself.

"Enough."

His voice was extremely serious.

"Take all this nonsense out of your head.

"

Vaidehi said while crying, "But she, being a mother-"

Samrat cut her off.

"Listen to me carefully," his eyes were straight into Vaidehi's eyes, "Real life does not run on anyone's curse.

No curse can decide your life. Medical conditions have treatments.

.. fear does not. And you need to get out of this fear most of all.

"

Tears were flowing continuously from Vaidehi's eyes.

"But if..."After college, a new chapter had

"No ifs," Samrat said, putting a finger on her nose.

"Do you know what my biggest problem is?

"

Vaidehi shook her head slowly.

Samrat came close to her.

"My biggest problem is... I love you too much.

"

Vaidehi's breath hitched.

Samrat brushed her hair back very lovingly.

"I am not worried about the future..

. I am worried about you. Whether there will be children or not.

.. before that, it is important to me that you stay fine.

Smile. Live."

Vaidehi had started calming down now while crying.

Samrat wiped her tears with his thumb.

"And listen..." he smiled slightly, "If someone tells you such nonsense again.

.. then this time I will truly commit murder.

"

Vaidehi laughed while crying.

"You are impossible.

"

"I know."

He pulled Vaidehi towards himself and pressed her head against his chest. Then, while stroking her hair, he said in a low voice-

"You are like the rain, Vaidehi.

..

Sometimes you give peace, sometimes you become a storm.

But one thing always remains the same.

..

Without you, my world feels incomplete.

"

Vaidehi slowly grabbed his shirt.

"Samrat Ji.

.."

"Hm?"

"I love you."

Samrat looked at her for a few seconds.

Then, kissing her forehead, he said-

"I love you more.

"

Outside the car, the rain was falling continuously.

Inside...

Vaidehi was slowly trying to come out of her fear.

..

And Samrat was holding her in his arms as if he wanted to save her from every bad thing in the world.

But somewhere far away...

Fate was still silently preparing for the next storm to come into their lives.

Samrat kept Vaidehi pressed against his chest, but the heat of her body and the sensation of her wet saree were reigniting the storm inside him.

Vaidehi's tears had stopped now, but the pace of her breathing was still rapid.

Just then, Samrat pulled Vaidehi a little away from himself.

The old, dangerous passion had returned completely to his eyes.

Vaidehi sensed the depth in his eyes and asked timidly, "S-Samrat Ji.

.. let's go home now, shall we?"

"No, Vaidehi.

Not yet," there was a strange sense of authority in Samrat's voice.

Without wasting a second, he pulled his leather pants belt out completely.

Before Vaidehi could understand anything, Samrat joined her two delicate hands together and tied them to the handle above the car door with that belt.

"Samrat Ji! What are you doing? Please, leave me!

" Vaidehi started struggling in panic. Her hands were now tied above, causing the pallu of her wet saree to slip off completely.

Samrat placed a finger on Vaidehi's trembling lips.

"Shh... don't say anything. Just feel it.

"

Vaidehi closed her eyes. There was a dark, attractive smile on Samrat's face.

He grabbed the border of Vaidehi's wet pink saree and with one jerk, pulled it down from her waist. The sound of the wet fabric sliding echoed in the quiet car.

Now, only her wet undergarments remained on Vaidehi's body.

Outside, lightning flashed brightly, the light filtering through the car windows and falling on their faces.

"You look so fucking beautiful, Vaidehi.

It's driving me crazy," Samrat said while unbuttoning his shirt.

A few raindrops were still glistening on his broad chest.

"Samrat Ji.

.. please, someone will see... and... and protection.

.." Vaidehi said, scared and shy.

"I don't care," Samrat cut her off and placed his lips directly onto hers.

This was not a normal kiss; there was a wildness in it, a sense of ownership that no one could challenge.

A suppressed moan escaped Vaidehi's mouth, which Samrat absorbed into his own.

Samrat removed his remaining clothing.

Without any protection, he came very close to Vaidehi.

Her entire body was trembling with fear and excitement.

"Samrat Ji... stop..." Vaidehi tried to lift herself up slightly with her tied hands.

"I told you, don't speak," Samrat gripped her thighs firmly in his hands.

"You are mine, Vaidehi. Every single inch of you belongs to me.

"

And the very next moment, without any delay, Samrat pushed himself completely inside Vaidehi.

"Ahhh! Samrat Ji!" A sharp moan, filled with both pain and pleasure, escaped Vaidehi's throat.

Her fingers gripped the belt tied in the air tightly.

The car's suspension shook slightly.

"Fuck, Vaidehi.

.. You are so tight," Samrat closed his eyes, sweat and raindrops glistening on his forehead.

Without stopping, he started increasing his pace.

Inside the car, there was nothing but the sound of their heavy breathing, Vaidehi's moans, and the heavy rain falling outside.

Every one of Samrat's moves was extremely rough and passionate.

Vaidehi's struggle had now slowly turned into surrender.

Even if she wanted to, she couldn't stop herself.

"Do you like it when I take you like this?

Tell me!" Samrat asked, tightening his hold on her waist; his pace had now become even more dangerous.

"S-Samrat... ah... yes... please... faster.

.." Vaidehi was now completely lost in that sensation.

Her eyes were closed, and her face had turned completely red.

Samrat pushed his speed to its peak.

The temperature inside the car had risen significantly.

Vaidehi's whimpers were now turning into deep, continuous gasps.

Samrat dug his teeth into her neck, causing a loud scream to escape Vaidehi's lips.

"You are fucking perfect," Samrat said while panting, and within a few seconds, with one powerful thrust, he released himself completely inside Vaidehi.

Vaidehi's entire body shivered one last time and she went completely limp.

Samrat collapsed on top of her, their heavy breaths clashing with each other.

Outside, the rain was still falling at the same pace, as if a witness to the storm that had just passed inside the car.

So, to know what is going to

After that rain-soaked night, by the time the car finally stopped at the porch of Pratap Singh Palace, Vaidehi had fallen into a deep sleep.

Her head was resting on Samrat's shoulder.

Wet strands of hair were scattered across her face, and her breathing had now gradually calmed down.

Samrat kept looking at her like that for a few seconds.

There was a strange sense of peace on his face.

15 years...

He had loved this girl for full 15 years.

And today... the same girl was sleeping in his arms with such trust.

Samrat very gently lifted Vaidehi into his arms and walked inside the palace.

The house was absolutely quiet.

Rukmini Devi and Raghav Ji had gone to Delhi for a business meeting.

The entire palace was almost empty.

Samrat took her straight to his room.

He laid Vaidehi on the bed, but the moment he started to pull away, Vaidehi caught his shirt in her sleep.

"Don't go..." she mumbled in her half-sleep.

Softness descended into Samrat's eyes.

"I am not going anywhere, baby."

A while later, Vaidehi opened her eyes.

The warm yellow lights of the room were on.

It was still raining outside. She tried to get up slowly, but then she realized that her clothes were still a bit wet.

"Samrat Ji..." she called out softly.

Samrat was standing near the balcony, talking to someone on the phone.

The sleeves of his black shirt were rolled up, and his wet hair was still a bit messy.

He ended the call and turned towards her.

"You are awake."

Vaidehi said shyly, "I need to change.

.."

Samrat smiled.

"I know."

He came straight towards her and picked her up in his arms without saying anything.

"Samrat Ji!" Vaidehi panicked, "I will do it myself!

"

"No chance."

He took her straight to the bathroom.

Within moments, the bathtub was filled with hot water.

Light steam had spread throughout the bathroom.

Vaidehi immediately stepped back.

"No!

I will bathe myself!"

Samrat raised an eyebrow.

"After everything that happened tonight.

.. now you are shy?"

Vaidehi's face turned red instantly.

"You are very shameless."

Samrat leaned in slightly.

"Only for you."

He pushed Vaidehi's wet hair back with great affection and made her sit in the bathtub.

At first, Vaidehi kept hiding her face out of shyness, but slowly, both of them got involved in their playful fights again.

Samrat intentionally splashed water on her face.

"Samrat Ji!" Vaidehi screamed.

And the very next moment, to take revenge, she threw water back at him.

"Very bad, Mrs. Pratap Singh," Samrat said while laughing.

"You started it!"

Samrat pulled her towards himself.

"Do you know," he whispered near her ear, "I have watched you only from a distance for 15 years.

Now that you are finally mine... it is hard to control.

"

Vaidehi's eyes gradually softened.

Earlier, Samrat's passion used to scare her.

..

But now that she knew this man had loved her for years, she began to find a strange sense of peace in that same possessiveness.

She slowly rested her head on Samrat's chest.

"You are crazy.

.."

Samrat kissed her forehead.

"Completely.

"

After bathing, both came down to the dining hall.

Samrat served dinner for her himself.

Vaidehi was looking at him in between.

"What?" Samrat asked.

"Nothing...

"

"Then stop staring at me."

"How did you know I was looking?

"

Samrat smiled.

"Because I can feel your eyes on me.

"

Vaidehi blushed again.

After finishing dinner, Vaidehi went upstairs to the bedroom, while Samrat went to his study room.

He had to look at some urgent business files.

Around 11 p.m....

Vaidehi was sitting on the bed looking at her notes when suddenly her phone rang.

The name flashed on the screen-

Sana Calling.

..

Vaidehi became happy instantly.

"Sana!

" she picked up the call.

But Sana's voice on the other side was panicked.

"Vaidehi, listen carefully. There is a huge game going on here.

"

Vaidehi's face turned serious.

"What happened?

"

"Your mom-dad are going to transfer your share of the property to your brothers' names.

"

Vaidehi became frozen.

"What?"

Sana started speaking quickly-

"Dad received a contract.

Your parents have made legal transfer papers.

The plan is to show you as practically separated from the family after marriage and transfer the entire property to your brothers.

"

Vaidehi's blood boiled.

"Impossible!

"

"Why would I lie?" Sana said. "Dad didn't show me the documents officially.

.. but I overheard it. They are planning everything secretly.

"

Vaidehi's eyes filled with anger.

So many years.

..

So much neglect...

And now an attempt to snatch her share too?

"No," she gritted her teeth. "This won't happen.

"

"Vaidehi..." Sana's voice softened, "You will have to come back.

"

As the call ended, Vaidehi stood up in anger.

She went straight towards the study room.

Inside, Samrat was on a video meeting with a foreign client on his laptop.

Without thinking, Vaidehi went straight and sat in his lap.

Samrat was slightly startled.

"Vaidehi-"

But the very next moment, Vaidehi punched his chest.

"Did you know?

!"

Samrat immediately closed the meeting.

"What happened?"

Vaidehi had grabbed his shirt in anger.

"My parents are transferring my share of the property to my brothers' names!

"

Samrat looked at her for a few seconds.

Then he let out a deep breath.

"So.

.. finally they started."

Vaidehi's eyes widened.

"Did you really know?!"

"I had a suspicion," Samrat said in a calm voice.

"I had guessed it by looking at their body language.

"

Vaidehi bit his shoulder in anger.

"Ouch," Samrat laughed.

"Wild cat."

"Don't joke!" Vaidehi almost shouted.

"I want my share. I have to go to Kolkata right now!

"

Samrat tried to calm her down by holding her waist.

"Relax.

"

"No! Absolutely not! We are leaving right now!

"

Samrat pressed his forehead.

"Baby.

.. Rajasthan to Kolkata is not a 2-hour journey.

"

"So?"

"If we go by road, it will take almost a whole day.

We will have to arrange a flight."

Vaidehi started hitting his chest again in anger.

"Then arrange it!"

Samrat kept looking at her.

.. then smiled slightly.

"God... you look cute when you are angry.

"

"Samrat Ji!"

"Okay okay," he raised his hands in surrender.

"We are going."

"Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow morning.

"

"No! Right now!"

Samrat suddenly pulled her towards himself.

"Not at this time of night, Vaidehi.

"

"But-"

"No arguments."

He kissed her cheek.

"The private jet will be ready in the morning.

Then we go to Kolkata... and trust me-"

The same dangerous arrogance returned to his eyes.

"What is yours... no one will be able to even touch it.

"

Vaidehi kept looking at him for a few seconds.

Then slowly, her head rested on Samrat's chest.

Perhaps for the first time.

..

She was realizing that she was not alone anymore.

Now, Samrat Pratap Singh was standing behind her.
