Chapter 19 #2
“You forgot the part where I ate that pussy until you cried,” he replied before planting a kiss to my forehead as I cut my eyes at him.
I couldn’t even argue because he did just that.
We talked about nothing as we ate our brunch, and I just sat there watching him in awe as he washed dishes and cleaned up the kitchen.
My phone rang and for the first time, and I realized that I had left it on the living room table all night.
I was so busy being treated like a buffet, that I hadn’t even missed it.
I missed the call, but quickly called Mona back because I knew her ass was thinking the worst. She picked up on the first ring and immediately went into the dramatics.
“Hello?”
“Are you alive?! May, I called you three times last night! Please don’t tell me that I let Chase know where you stay, and he done chopped your ass up! You know your parents will KILL me!” I laughed so hard that my eyes teared up. Like I said before, dramatic.
“How would I be dead if I’m talking to you?! I’m fine. Bitch, are you good? I know that man had you singing like a Southern Baptist choir last night!
“Me? I know Chase's big ass turned you every way but loose!”
“And did!” I teased with my tongue out.
“I knew it! So… what are y’all?” she asked anxiously. I chuckled. Her lovesick ass wanted me to be like her so bad! I could already see her trying to set up double dates, game nights, all that other shit.
“According to him, he’s my man or whatever,” I murmured with fake annoyance. The squeal she let out almost made me hang up on her.
“Oh my God! I’m so excited for you!”
“Calm down! But yeah. You and Tahmir good?”
“Girl… Yes,” she said breathlessly like she was having flashbacks of her toes curling.
“Ayeee!” I said, doing a happy dance. “I mean the man apologized via billboard—that had to do the trick!
“Girl! That’s why I tried to call you last night! Why did this nigga buy me a Camaro and a G-Wagon?”
“A Camaro? Like…” My voice trailed off.
“Yeah,” she said softly. That man loved her and he listened.
“MoMo, I am so happy for you! I knew y’all would get it together, but can I ask you something?”
“What’s up?”
“I know that you knew that sending Chase over here was a risk. You don’t usually do shit like that at all.
What made you do it this time?” After everything with Malcom, Mona had been super protective, and I knew she probably thought long and hard about giving Chase my location and then leaving me alone with him.
“What you told me that night y’all got stuck at his house during the fires,” she said, barely above a whisper.
“You feel safe with him, May. I just want you happy.” I paused, heart caught in my throat as I silently cursed her for choking me up.
She was right. I felt so safe with him, physically and emotionally.
My eyes shot to him for a split second as he danced his was around my kitchen, cleaning like it was his absolute favorite thing in the world to do. Ugh, I couldn’t stand him.
“I am,” I whispered.
“I know,” she sighed dreamily. We finally said our goodbyes, and I put the phone down as my eyes wandered back to Chase. “So, how long do you plan on being here?” I inquired.
“Shit, as long as I can. I don’t have to report back for training camp until July, so as long as you’ll have me, I guess,” he said, and I just stared at him.
“Amaya, why the fuck you keep lookin’ at me like that?” He chuckled, finishing up with his chores.
“I just… might have missed you a little,” I laughed.
“Really?” he asked, walking over to me and pulling me up from my seat.
“Just a lil’ bit,” I teased, melting into his arms as he squeezed my ass and went in for a kiss.
“What I tell you about all that tough girl shit? You miss me or not, Toni?”
“Yes,” I whispered.
“I can’t hear you.”
“Don’t push it, Chase.”
“Oh, I’m definitely gon’ push it,” he said, scooping me up and carrying me back to my bedroom.
Pushing was an understatement, that man pushed, pulled, and fucked me until I cried again and had me saying all kinds of shit that would have gotten my player card revoked for life.
The worst part was that I couldn’t even care enough to be ashamed about it—I was on him bad.
A few weeks later.
“Okay, bitch, so when are you planning on telling me about Johnathan?” I blurted out to Joce as we went over some paperwork for our next case.
I tried my best to be patient and let her come to me, but it had been weeks of her bouncing around, acting like that man wasn’t over there in her apartment, and I was bursting at the seams.
“What?” she asked, nearly falling out of her seat. “You know about me and Jonathan?”
“Uh, yeah! Been knew! I walked in on you riding that man like a Kawasaki during that draft party… Amazing technique, by the way, but you should have let me know why your ass kept disappearing,” I teased, making her face turn bright red. “Honestly, I thought you were sleeping with Niko at first.”
“Well, I mean… I was,” she shrugged with a guilty smile on her face.
“Bitch what?!” I slapped my hands to my chest in shock.
“Yeah, I liked them both, so I dated them both… and fucked them both,” she said with a guilty grin stuck to her face. “Niko is cool, but he made it clear he wasn’t looking for anything serious. Jonathan let me know what he was on from the jump and that he wanted me… so, here we are.”
“Bitch! So, you were getting double the dick and ain’t told me nothing?” I shrieked.
“I didn’t want to say or do anything to jeopardize the case! Meanwhile you were out there sleeping with the actual client! I knew there wasn’t a rose on the planet that could have had you sounding like you did that night I walked in there!” she teased.
“You know about Chase?!” I yelped.
“I mean, I had my suspicions, because I know you… you were way too nice to that nigga. Then after everything kinda blew up, I knew for sure. Plus, Chase and Johnathan work out every morning since they’ve been here, and apparently all that man does is talk about you!” she said with a smirk.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” I asked, playfully smacking her arm.
“I don’t know. I guess I just figured you would tell me when you were ready.”
“Wow!” I laughed and shook my head. “Me and you over here sworn to secrecy, meanwhile Chase and Johnathan’s loosed lipped asses out here spilling all the tea!
” We giggled but quickly stopped when Oliver’s stern ass walked by.
He had been walking around like he had a theater-sized flatscreen up his bootyhole ever since I removed myself from Chase’s case.
I didn’t care. I had gone through all the proper channels when I left, and we were still getting our check.
On top of that, the case ended up getting thrown out anyways, so I really didn’t know what else he wanted from me.
Aside from the cold shoulder from Oliver, and Cowen’s aftershave stinking up the place, my day was amazing.
Eager to get back to one of the main reasons that I had a smile on my face, I packed up quickly and headed out for the day. When I pulled into my driveway, my smile dimmed a bit, and the moment I made it inside and my eyes landed on Chase, I voiced my displeasure.
“Baby, can you please get another rental!” I whined as I dropped my things while walking in.
Pulling up and seeing that damn Altima literally threatened to ruin my day.
It seemed like it was barely running, and that company probably had no business even loaning that shit out to people to begin with.
Then, on top of that, the car was so damn small that we could sit in the front and the back at the same time.
“I’m half your height and I feel claustrophobic in that shit!
I know you be crunched up in there!” I wasn’t lying, getting in and out of that car was tearing my knees up, but he insisted on driving it over mine on the rare occasion that we went somewhere because it cost less in gas.
“Amaya, baby, we talked about this,” he huffed, walking behind me and undoing my mess—hanging my purse and keys on the hook and placing my shoes in the shoe rack. “I got the digital coupon, and I’m saving twenty-nine dollars a day!”
“Chase, I put up with the fact that it takes you ninety seconds to answer my calls because of that damn flip phone, but I’m not doin’ this anymore!
You are a multimillionaire! I saw your bank account!
Either you get a car that I can at least fit two shoeboxes in, or I’m cutting you off!
I’m tired of my neighbors looking at me crazy every time I walk by that car! ”
“Cutting me off from what?” He frowned, moving towards me menacingly.
“Sex!” I said quickly. I tried to back up, but he grabbed me by the front of my dress, locking me in place.
“Be for real. If I told you to bend that ass over right here and let me fuck you right now, your only question would be if I wanted you to grab your ankles or the couch.”
Gotdammit!
I stood there blinking slowly, while looking at everything but him, and trying to calm down the thumping between my legs. Me and Ms. Kitty needed to have a long conversation because she was gon’ fold every damn time that man started talking.
“That’s… not true.”
“Baby, bend over that couch for me real quick,” he said, biting his lip and grabbing his hard dick through his sweats.
I didn’t know what kind of Jedi mind trick he pulled, but the next thing I knew, I was bent over, one leg hiked over the couch, dress bunched around my waist while he pulled my panties to the side.
“Hurry, please?” I begged, pushing back and rubbing my clit against his head. I could have came just like that, but I wanted some part of him inside me. I had gone so long yearning for that man that I wanted to hold that dick captive in my walls in every free moment I had.
“I got you,” he promised as he plunged into me.
