Ciera
“Sis, we gone show our ass tonight! I just want you to let loose a little bit; you deserve it,” she said, looking at me.
“Okay, Ari. I promise to have a good time.”
She turned the radio up as we rocked out to Cardi B’s, Bodak Yellow.
Pulling up to Toya’s crib, Ari texted her to let her know we were outside.
We didn’t have time to pregame because we were running late.
Toya came out, looking bomb as ever with a bottle of Patron and three shot glasses.
I just shook my head as she and Ari got the party started in the car.
We put on Jay and B’s new album and pulled out, headed to the club.
Traffic was backed up trying to get in the parking lot of the club.
“Ci turn down this street, maybe we can go around the traffic,” Toya stated. I did as she suggested, and we lucked up, getting a clean shot to the parking lot.
“Y’all, look at this fucking line; I’m too cute to be standing in a line,” I said to the both of them, as we parked and got out. The line was wrapped around the corner. It looked as if the whole city came out tonight to show love.
“Look at this shit!” Ari screamed.
“We gone show these bitches what slaying looks like,” Toya screamed as she and Ari gave each other high fives.
“Come on, y’all. Big Tone said he was gone look out for me if I decided to come out,” Toya spoke as we walked up to the bouncer.
“Good evening, ladies. Are you on the list for tonight?”
“Yes, my friend Tone invited us.”
The big guy looked at us and turned away. “Yoooo Tone!” Some guy looked up from behind and headed our way.
“You know these ladies?”
The guy looked at us and then Toya, so he spoke up while he was looking her over like she was a glass of wine he had been waiting to drink all day.
“Yeah, this my homegirl Toya and her friends. Let ‘em through.”
He lifted the ropes and we walked in the club. Chris Brown’s, Tempo was bumping through the speakers.
“Yooooo, this shit is fucking live tonight and look at this place!” Ari stated.
I must say this was not what I was expecting, but the color scheme of gold and black was on point.
It had three bars on the first floor, a huge stage, and the dance floor was big as hell.
I looked up, and I swear I have never seen nothing like this.
Women were dancing in these glass cages that was hanging from the ceiling.
“Whoever owns this club did they thing,” I said.
“Yes, they did, this shit is dope!” Ari yelled over the music, as we headed over to the bar to get some drinks popping. When I say the niggas was out, the niggas was out!
“What can I get, you ladies?” the bartender asked.
“Let me get three Blue Hawaiians, and three shots of Patron,” Ari ordered. The bartender stepped away to make our drinks, as I looked around the club.
“What are those up there?” I pointed.
“That is the VIP section, Ci,” Ari said.
They were doing it up, up there. Shit, I wished to be up there instead of down here on the main floor. The bartender sat our drinks on the counter then we took our shots and sipped on the Blue Hawaiians. The music was bumping, so we went on the dance floor, and tore shit all the way up.
I was in my groove, killing it. Once we finished dancing, we sat at the bar and ordered more drinks. The dudes were approaching us left and right. Toya was getting us some free drinks, and I loved that shit because I was able to keep my money in my damn pocket.
“Sup, Ciera?” Someone called out to me and tapped me on my shoulder. It was this dude Chase from the block we used to live on. He had been trying to get with me for a while now.
“Hey, Chase. How you doing?” I asked turning to face him.
“I’ll be much better if you let me take you to get something to eat after the club.” He smiled.
“Oh, after I leave here, I'm going home.” I shrugged.
“Well, let me get your number and we can maybe go to lunch tomorrow,” he said, and I gave him my number. I had to live a little, and I wasn’t seeing anyone so why not. Chase bought us a round of drinks and I must say he was a handsome man.
“Okkk, Ci. He fine and he spending that bread.” Toya laughed, holding her drink up. These damn drinks had me in a zone, minutes later we were back on the dance floor going in.
