22. Kenya
I had been waiting for Xavier to call me since he had to leave my house in a hurry.
He had spoken to Juelz, who’d said he was on a flight back home.
I had to make sure shit was straight before he got here.
I needed to speak with my brother to see if he was making any moves on that bitch Ciera.
If she thought, she was going to come in and mess up my plans she was sadly mistaken.
Dialing his number, I waited for him to answer.
“Yeah,” he answered groggily.
“What are you planning to do about the problem we have, Kendrick?”
“Look, I have been traveling half the night. I’m in New York now. I’m tired, give me a few hours and I will find out where she is and meet up with her. Now stop fucking bugging me and I will hit you up later,” Kenrick said ending the call. I loved my brother, but he got on my damn nerves.
When I found out that Ciera bitch was staying in my husband’s penthouse, I knew she would be a problem.
So, I paid my brother to keep an eye on her and follow her everywhere she went.
He later called and said she was headed to the airport; the problem was we didn’t know where she was going.
The good thing is my brother was good-looking, and he was a smooth talker, so he gave the airline agent some money to tell him where Ciera was headed.
Once he got the information, he bought a ticket to LA as well, he was on the same flight as Ciera.
Our plan was going well until Juelz spotted her in LA.
I was tired of this shit. I wanted to be with Xavier.
But I wanted this money, and I was going to get it.
He had already put a million dollars in my account, but that shit was nothing compared to the money he had.
I don’t know how much that is, but I know he is loaded.
I tried calling Xavier one more time, but he didn’t answer.
A couple of hours had passed, so I went to the kitchen to cook myself something to eat.
“Mrs. Kassom,” Jeff called out as he walked into the kitchen.
“Yes, can I help you?” I asked.
“Your husband asked me to pick you up and bring you to him. He said it was urgent, ma’am, so we need to leave now.”
I rushed out of the kitchen to grab my things and then walked out the door behind Jeff.
I did get a text from Kendrick telling me he was on his way to get up with Ciera, so I was happy about that.
It took us over an hour to get to this place in Queens, and I wondered why the hell I needed to meet Juelz here.
I did see his car parked, so I felt a little at ease, but I was still trying to figure out why we were here.
Jeff made a call and about five minutes later, the guy Meek opened the door for us.
When we walked in, the décor in this place was nice as hell, whoever this house belonged to did a great job with it.
We followed Meek downstairs to what seemed like a basement, and when I descended the stairs and saw Juelz, I almost shitted on myself.
“Welcome to the party my sweet wife. Why don’t you come on in and have a seat?” Juelz said holding a gun in his hand.
“Ju...Juelz what is this? Why do you have Xavier tied up? Oh my god, is he hurt?” I yelled out. Fuck, did he know what was going on? I thought to myself.
“Sit your ass down bitch! All these fucking years, and you tried to play me! I should put a bullet in your fucking head! Faking your death, taking my money so you can be with this bitch of a nigga! You chose a man over your own fucking daughter, what kind of mother are you?” He yelled at me.
I was now scared for my life; tears adorned my face.
“Kenya, sit. I don’t want anything to happen to you baby,” Xavier whispered. He looked like he was in so much pain and then a shot was fired. POW!
“Shut the fuck up, nigga! Nobody asked you to open your fuckin’ mouth!
Sit the fuck down bitch!” Juelz screamed.
I was so fucking scared for me and Xavier, we have to find a way to make it out of here alive.
Something tells me, that wouldn’t happen and all the shit we had done was coming back to haunt us.
