Chapter thirty-seven

Veronica

Goodbye bubble, hello world.

~ One Week Later ~

I wake up to two different pairs of hands roaming my body, two different lips kissing my quickly heating skin. I hum with pleasure but keep my eyes closed, loving the sensation and how my whole body erupts with desire with every soft press of their lips and caress of their fingers.

This is our last free weekend before training camp and preseason start up. The boys are excited to get back to work, but they also know it means spending less time together. I guess that’s why they’ve been sticking to me like glue for the past week.

Let’s just say we haven’t really left the bedroom—well, more the penthouse—since we tend to get it on whenever the mood strikes. Which resulted in receiving numerous texts from a very annoyed Julian telling us to ‘KEEP IT IN THE BEDROOM!’ Oopsie.

“Wake up, Kitten,” Noah murmurs near my ear.

“Uh-uh. Just keep doing what you’re doing.” I smile, eyes remaining closed.

“But we have a surprise for you, Vixen.” Gabe kisses up my spine to the back of my neck.

“I already know what the surprise is.” I lift my ass, rubbing it against his erection. “Just give it to me already.”

He laughs. “It’s a better surprise.”

I peek one eye open, turning my head slightly to find Noah kneeling at my side and Gabe over my back. Satisfied with having them both in bed with me, despite us still not spending the night all together, I shut my eye once more.

“What could be better than having sex with my two favorite men?”

“We’re your only two men,” Noah grumbles.

I smile. “Yes, you are, and the best ones I could ever ask for.” I reach out blindly with one hand, touching Noah first and then Gabe. “So, what’s this surprise that’s apparently better than sex?”

Gabe nibbles my shoulder. “How does two orgasms with our mouths while having breakfast in bed sound?”

“Hmm, pretty good. But still not better than sex.”

Noah chuckles, his fingers sliding through my hair as he massages my scalp. “That’s because you didn’t hear the best part.”

I open my eyes, watching the grin spread on his face. “Okay, I’ll bite. What’s the best part?”

“Shopping spree on Fifth Avenue,” Noah says with a knowing smirk. Damn him for knowing how much I love shopping!

“Then a nice day at the beach. They say it’s supposed to be warm and sunny. Probably our last chance to go this year before the cold comes in.” Gabe beams when I turn my head to see him. Ugh! I do miss our time at the beach. Damn him for knowing that too!

“And finishing the night off with a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant.” Noah comes in to kiss my lips. Ooh, a public outing? We’ve been out all together before, but never something that will make it obvious we’re dating.

I scoot out from under Gabe as he sits back on his calves, bringing myself to a sitting position against the headboard. “What’s the occasion?” I raise a brow.

“No occasion, Kitten. We’ve just realized that we never took you out on a proper date yet.”

“We just want to show you how much you mean to us. We want to give you a special day,” Gabe finishes, tucking my hair behind my ear.

I bite my lip, looking from one to the other, before an ear-to-ear grin spreads across my face and I throw myself at them. One arm around each. “AH! You guys are amazing! God, I love you both so much!”

“Now hurry up and eat your breakfast while we have ours.” Gabe grabs my ankles and drags me down to my elbows, while Noah comes over with a tray that was set aside. Fruits, croissants, French toast, waffles, pancakes. Jesus, they really went all out.

Gabe doesn’t waste time on delivering his part of the breakfast. He quickly spreads my naked legs and settles in between them, feasting away at me as Noah tries to feed me.

Let me tell you this, eating while having an orgasm is really not easy.

A few minutes later, once Gabe achieves his goal, he switches places with Noah and proceeds with the feeding.

A quick shower later, we’re dressed and heading out the door.

It’s only eight in the morning by now, and I’m a little curious why they felt the need to rush us out.

After forty-five minutes of driving, it becomes clear.

Also, the fact that we are nowhere near Fifth Avenue made it obvious they had something else in mind, since we live right next to it.

“What are we doing at Maze’s shop?” I smile as I jump out of the car, excited to see my girl.

“Well, we know you get your hair done at the beginning of every month usually, and you haven’t done it yet. So, we took the liberty in booking you an appointment.” Noah puts his hand along my back, guiding me toward the door as he kisses the side of my head.

“We also chose the color. Well, I chose the color.” Gabe grins as he throws his arm over my shoulders and pulls the door open.

We pass through the threshold with difficulty, since neither one wanted to let me go. It was pretty comical to watch us come in sideways, but I love it.

Bear greets us from behind the counter the moment we step in. “Well, shit. You brought both your men today!”

I laugh. “Can’t go anywhere without them.” I smile and peck both their cheeks.

“Damn, I wish I could have two women to love me like that,” he jokes.

“Who knows, maybe one day you will.” I wink as I pull my men along toward Maze. “Hey, babe.” I hug her once we’re in her section of the shop.

“Look at you, all glowing and shit. It’s almost nauseating.” She laughs while holding me at arm’s length and looking me over.

“What can I say, I’m happy.” I grin.

“Of course, you are. If I had two fine ass men taking care of my needs like yours do, I’d be as bright as the fucking sun.” Maze turns her gaze to Noah and Gabe. I know they aren’t her type, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t admire the view.

“So, what color are we doing today?” I ask with a bounce in my step as I walk over to the chair.

“Ah, can’t say. Blondie told me it was a surprise.” She thumbs toward Gabe, then swivels the chair around and away from any mirrors. “Let’s get to work, my lovelies.”

Three hours later, we’re back in the car and grabbing a quick bite to eat before finally heading to the shops.

I’m not sure how Gabe and Noah plan to do everything in one day, but they swear we’ll have time to go shopping and go to the beach.

I don’t think they know what it’s like to shop with a woman.

I watch my hair run over my shoulders through the windows reflection, a happy smile playing along my lips.

I was really surprised when Maze finally spun the chair around and let me see the end result.

It wasn’t at all what I was expecting, but I love it.

Dark green from the roots that falls into a bright yellow at the ends, giving a beautiful ombre hairstyle.

“You sure you like it?” Gabe asks for the millionth time with a nervous tone.

I take hold of his hand above the restaurant table where we wait for our early lunch. “I love it, I promise. It’s perfect. Thank you.” I take Noah’s hand as well. “Both of you.”

The waitress comes over with our food, peering down at our hands with surprise before setting down the plates as we pull apart. She then stands to the side, awkwardly shifting her weight from one foot to the other, wringing her hands.

“I don’t mean to be a bother… but I was wondering if I could maybe… get an autograph and a picture?” Her eyes keep bouncing back to mine, like she’s afraid I may get mad that she’s interrupting our date. She swallows and continues. “My dad’s a really huge fan and he’d kill me if I didn’t ask.”

Normally, I probably would get mad. Most times when women approach them it’s for different reasons. But this girl sounds genuine and maybe even too young to try anything with them.

Noah and Gabe look at me for permission and I shrug. Gabe looks back at the waitress with his megawatt grin. “Is it okay if we have lunch with our girlfriend first? Then we’ll do the pictures and sign whatever you want. We’re kind of trying to give her a special day.”

Her eyes go wide as she blushes. “Yes, of course, take your time.” She looks at me with an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry for interrupting your day.”

I wave her off. “It’s fine. It’s the kind of thing that happens when you’re dating two famous guys I guess.” I laugh.

We eat the rest of our lunch in peace and by the end, as promised the boys give the waitress what she asked. I suspect she felt a bit guilty because she asked me to be in one of the pictures with them as well.

When we exit the restaurant, deciding to walk down to Fifth Ave since we aren’t far, I laugh to myself. “How long do you think it will take her to post that picture of us and tell the world we’re together?”

“I give it by the end of the day, and we’ve gone viral. The media is going to have a field day with that.” Noah chuckles.

“Good. I want the world to know your ours.” Gabe kisses the side of my head.

Gabe’s arm rests along my shoulders, while Noah’s is around the back of my waist, and I hold both by the back. Thanks to my height and reaching theirs in my heels, it makes this position a lot easier.

“And I want the world to know you belong to me. If I have to wear two engagement rings on my fingers to make it clear, I will.” I nod my head with determination.

“Hmm, that’s not a bad idea.” Gabe winks.

“Or we could just get them tattooed on.” Noah shrugs.

I stop in my tracks, stunned by his words. Removing myself from their hold, I turn to face them. “You two, skin virgins, would get a tattoo for me?”

“Well, it wouldn’t be huge, just a ring on our finger. Make it pretty obvious we’re taken for good.” Noah smirks, while Gabe doesn’t look so sure.

“You okay with this, Pretty Boy?” I giggle because I swear, he’s sweating just at the thought of doing it.

“I…” He laughs nervously and rubs the back of his neck.

“Is it the permanent commitment part that freaks you out? Or the ink?” I ask slowly, worry surfacing at the thought that he might not think what’s happening between us will last.
