37. Veronica #2

“No! It’s the needle part, not the commitment. I promise I want to commit to you in every way possible. I just… I’ve seen my parents use needles my whole childhood. I know it’s not the same, but it’s a fear I kind of developed.” He looks down at his feet with shame.

I take a step into him, cupping his face with my hands. “Hey, you have nothing to be embarrassed about. A lot of people are afraid of needles, most without actual reason. Yours are very valid and I can understand why you might be a bit hesitant to do this.”

I smile tenderly at him. “If it’s too much we don’t have to, but if you think it’s something you can get past, then we’ll take our time. Maybe sitting through a session will help you overcome your fear. We don’t have to do it right now either.”

“Yeah, okay. I’ll think about it.” He gives me a sad smile.

“I love you, Gabriel. I’d never force you to do something you aren’t comfortable with.” I press my lips to his softly.

“I love you, too, Vixen.” He kisses me back.

I pull away and turn to Noah, feeling the need to kiss him too. So I do, telling him I love him as well, then I take both their hands and continue our way to the shops. “This is going to be so fun!”

“You’re going to make us hold everything, right?” Gabe asks while laughing.

I roll my eyes. “Of course, I will. Why else do you think you two are here?”

“Maybe for our money that will be paying everything?” Noah chuckles.

“That’s reason number two.” I beam at him.

“Reason number two? Really?” He cocks a brow. “How were you planning on paying for everything?”

“I think you’re forgetting that I still have one of your cards.” I peck his lips when he laughs.

Three hours later and a lot of shopping bags in our grasp, we make our way back to the car. I now have ten new pairs of heels, a few new dresses, shirts, skirts, and pants. I even got an evening gown for tonight since the boys said it was an extremely fancy restaurant.

When I tried it on, their faces said everything—it was perfect. I had never seen them speechless, certainly not Gabe. His jaw just hung open the whole time, then he swallowed and let it drop again.

Noah looks at the time on his watch and groans as he and Gabe set all the bags in the trunk. I giggle with amusement as I watch him. “I told you we wouldn’t have time to do everything.”

“What time is it?” Gabe asks, shutting the trunk.

“Three,” Noah tells him.

“Fuck… maybe we could still go for an hour or two? Our reservation is only at eight.” He scratches his head.

I place my hands on both of their chests, running my palms up until they slide over the side of their necks and my fingers caress at their napes. “Or we can say ‘fuck the beach’ and go home and have a little fun before we go out to dinner?”

“I like the sound of that, but we promised you the beach,” Gabe says.

“We can just go tomorrow if it’s nice.” I peck his lips. “I don’t need the beach, baby. The only thing I want is you two. And I’d much rather go home and make you both mine than go spend an hour in the sand crowded by people.”

Noah grabs my hip on one side and pulls me in, capturing my lips. “Make us yours.”

And I do just that. For the next three hours, I make them mine in every way possible. Just as they make me theirs.

We’re now getting ready for our dinner reservation, and my stomach is in knots.

I’m not sure why; we’ve been out in public all day, but this feels different.

It feels like we’re finally stepping out of our bubble and saying hello to the world for the first time.

Like our relationship is really about to begin.

I’m already expecting there to be stories about us tomorrow morning. Speculations, pictures, and opinions. But I’m ready for it all; I know it might not be accepted by many, and I’m okay with that. All I care about is that I am theirs and they are mine.

My hair has grown again and now reaches almost halfway down my back.

It amazes me the difference in two months; I’m not sure what’s making it grow so fast, but I’m not complaining.

Neither are the boys. They really like being able to pull it and watch it fall down my back when they fuck me from behind.

I finish up my smokey-eye makeup and apply a coat of deep red lipstick over my lips.

I’ve already curled my hair and passed my fingers through it numerous times to give it more of a wave effect.

Once I’m satisfied with my look in the mirror, I step out of the bathroom and over to my dress that waits for me on the bed.

I quickly slip my feet into a new pair of open-toe stilettos and secure the ankle straps in place. Then I pick up the dress and pull it over my hips, passing my arms through the small straps, then walk over to the stand-up mirror to look it over.

At first, I thought the dress might be too much for a fancy dinner, but Noah and Gabe assured me it was perfect and that they wouldn’t accept any other dress than this one. The dress itself is a form-fitted silver gown, covered in rhinestones from head to toe, and almost gives off a nude effect.

The length drops down to the floor, with a slit up my left thigh. The sides are cut out, exposing my waist and back, with a deep V-neck. Only a thin strap at my back ties the whole thing together, preventing the two over my shoulders from slipping constantly.

I reach back with my hands just as Noah enters the room looking dashing in his suit. “Let me,” he says as he walks over and secures the back of my dress. He kisses my neck and looks me up and down through the mirror. “You look divine, Kitten.”

“Thank you. You look mighty handsome as well.” I smile, turning to face him. He’s dressed in charcoal gray dress pants, black dress shirt, and a black suit jacket.
