Chapter 155 The Sanctuary of Sisters
Inside the sun-drenched sunroom of the Ashford estate, Celina Quinn Mason sat comfortably in a plush armchair, her hands cradling the gentle curve of her stomach. A radiant, beautiful peace had completely replaced the lines of anxiety that had shadowed her face for weeks.
The glass doors hummed open, and Teresa walked into the room. She was dressed in a soft cream sweater, her dark hair pinned back, her expression filled with a quiet, beautiful light that cleared the final shadows from the studio.
"Teresa!" Celina cried out happily, rising from her seat to wrap her arms around her sister in a deep, tearful embrace. "I have been staring at the gallery permits all morning. Carlos just signed over the entire riverfront property to your personal studio name."
"He told me he wanted me to own the unwritten masterpieces of our future, Celina," Teresa smiled beautifully, a soft blush touching her cheeks as she looked at the gold band shining proudly on her finger. "The contract is completely dead beneath our feet. We tore up the paperwork last night."
"I am so incredibly happy for your soul," Celina whispered, wiping away a tear of pure joy. "We survived the trial by fire, sister. Our family is actually safe."
"We are," Teresa murmured, her hand gently reaching out to rest over Celina’s stomach, feeling the tiny, miraculous heartbeat of the next generation of the dynasty.
"And this little one is going to grow up in a fortress, Celina. With Justin, Carlos, and Dominic guarding the borders, nobody can touch our home."
