Chapter 12
Ihad never been happier to see my little out-of-the-way witch’s cottage in my life.
I had to really exert some self-control to keep from going to my knees and kissing the front door.
A riotous, chaotic garden of blooms and herbs filled the yard, with leafy vines climbing up the side of the house and springing from the roof like messy green hair.
The wood was gray with age, and the windows had that wavy look that came from being original leaded glass.
Didn’t matter much how old things were when you had magic to lovingly coax them into functioning.
I waited long enough to let Melvin check the wards and protections around the house before I threw the door open and went inside. Home. Finally home.
Usually, I wasn’t much of a homebody. I liked traveling with my merry band of mischief makers, seeing new places, stretching my mind, and annoying new people along the way. But just now…I could sink into the overstuffed couch by the crooked slate fireplace and never leave.
An angry, snapping buzz pulled me from my daydream and I held out a hand for Cass to land on. “Yeah, yeah,” I said tiredly. “I’m on it.”
The charm Mel and I had made to allow Cass to take on big-person form was finicky, and it took a lot of rare ingredients, but this wasn’t our first rodeo.
We always made sure to have a few extra size charms on hand.
It wasn’t long before our fairy was back to his usual size, all six-foot-three of lean, defined grace and mischief.
He paced over to me, his wings flapping in little agitated stop-and-go bursts.
“May I?” He asked, reaching for the crystal round my neck.
I quirked a brow at him, wondering what he was up to, but didn’t stop him from picking up the little prison. He grinned, his sharp features filled with wicked glee. Then he proceeded to shake the crystal a few times before he flicked it with his fingernail repeatedly, making it ring.
I laughed and pulled way, taking the crystal off and placing it on the mantle in a warded box, where no one else would be tempted to torture our dear Ms. Heckin’butt.
“So mean,” Cass pouted, looking sullen and wicked. “You always ruin all my fun, Mare.”
I arched a brow at him. “Oh? That’s too bad. I guess you won’t want to come back to the bedroom with us, then? You know, since I’m no fun.”
I brushed past him and headed toward the back of the cottage, shedding clothes as I went.
It had taken me a long time to be comfortable in my own skin—to stop comparing myself to all the usual stereotypes of feminine beauty.
But with Cassius, Draven, and Mel, I felt free.
I felt loved and adored, no matter the size of my ass or the way I towered over two of them.
I tossed my shirt aside and kicked off my pants, then I turned and opened my arms. “We’re home!” I said, feeling my power steadying as I reconnected with the earth below, with the plants around us, and with the ley lines of the earth—the real earth.
“Thank fuck,” Melvin said, stepping close to pull me into his arms. My nerdy, impulsive sorcerer with his lean body and his map of scars. I slid my hands over his warm skin as he nibbled at my neck, his impressive dick pressing against my thigh.
Cassius wrapped long arms around me from behind, fitting his cock along the crack of my ass, pulling me back against his dancer’s body.
Mel’s hands rose to cup my small breasts, as adoring and enthusiastic as ever, even after seeing me wearing the “perfect girl” body for who the fuck knew how long.
Draven slid in from the side, pulling Cass down into a slow, sensuous kiss that got my blood rushing before he turned his attention on me, every touch of his strong hands worshipful and filled with love.
There was a quiet between us that wasn’t usually present.
We were all irreverent by nature, sarcastic and playful in the bedroom, once we had all realized the magic of being loved for who we were.
But today…I don’t think I was the only one who was hungrily drinking my lovers in, mapping and memorizing every flaw and every perfect defect, every single thing that made them unique.
In the pocket world, Dray and Cass had been nearly identical except for their coloring.
In this world, they were complete opposites, Dray’s brown skin and thick body a contrast against the long, lean gold of Cass.
They had also completely lost the “alpha male” egos.
I watched with eager anticipation as Draven sank to his knee and sucked Cass’s long, slender dick.
Neither of them were some mainstream fantasy version of what a “real man” should be.
They were so much more. I shivered in delight.
Mel brushed his lips across my own, drawing my attention to back to him as he slid a hand back, over the swell of my ass. “See something you like, queenie?” His lips tilted in a playful smirk.
“Fuck, yes,” I said, taking his hand and drawing him over to the bed.
Cassius and Draven followed us, Draven abandoning Cass to dive between my legs and show me just how much he’d missed me. I arched my back as Draven’s tongue worked my clit, pulling Cass and Mel down to me so we could all share a heated, possessive kiss.
We became a tangle of eager hands, lips, and tongues as we desperately clung to the present. I couldn’t imagine a world without these guys in it, just as they were.
I lost track of how many times I climaxed—slowly, purposefully driven there by my guys—each burst of pleasure driving me higher, my magic twining with the auras of the amazing creatures in my bed.
In the end, I found myself on my knees, Cass driving into me from behind, raining down glittering fairy dust as Draven fucked him, pushing him forward into me with each stroke.
I swirled my tongue around Mel’s thick cock, then sucked him in deep, moaning, my sorcerer’s magical scared hands tangled in my hair as, one by one, we all fell over the edge.
Much later, I cuddled down between Cassius and Dray, Mel lying with his head on my stomach and his long legs hanging off the bed. “So,” Cass said, drawing a graceful hand through the tangled mess of my hair. “What awful, devious thing are we up to next, Madame Witch?”
I glanced over to meet his twinkling blue eyes. “Hmmm…I think we should do some decorating.”
Cass arched a gold brow at me, clearly knowing what was coming. But Draven snorted. “Decorating?”
I nodded sagely. “Yes. I think we should repaint the bedroom. Maybe…pink?”
Cass kindly put a pillow over my face and attempted to murder me.
When the laughing subsided, I sighed, feeling blissed out, but also more than ready to get back to adventuring. “I saw a flyer about a missing familiar on the way home.”
Melvin rolled his eyes. “Yeah, a missing kobold familiar, Mare. There’s a reason they posted that big-ass reward. Kobold are nothing but trouble.”
I waved away his concern. “Eh. They don’t know us. It’ll be a piece of cake.” I popped up, dislodging a grumbling Mel and climbing over Cass to get to the nightstand. “Oh! I almost forgot! Before we leave the house for anything—I got you guys something!”
Three sets of eyes watched me with wary suspicion as I set the rich purple velvet box on Cass’s lap and took a seat on the edge of the bed.
The fairy ran an elegant finger around the edge of the box, but didn’t open it. “Does it explode? Are we going to end up trapped in some new fresh hell?”
I grinned. “Nope. At least…I don’t think so.”
Sighing, Mel took one for the team and opened the box. Nothing exploded, and we weren’t thrown into some strange new world. The guys all gaped at me.
“You didn’t,” Draven said with a groan.
“Of course she did,” Mel said easily.
Cass picked up the row of anal beads and let it dangle from his fingers, the light reflecting off the shimmery, rainbow opalescence of the beads. “They really are made of unicorn horn.”
I nodded. “Well, yeah. Duh.” That was how we’d gotten on Belinda Buttbottom’s bad side after all.
We’d been unofficially officially hired by local law enforcement to track down a shipment of unicorn horn.
It was illegal to own creature parts unless they’d been freely given.
And no unicorn would “freely” give away their horn, the source of their magic—even if they did eventually grow back.
We’d found out Belinda had the horns made into various and sundry magic-enhanced items for her shop.
I’m sure she could charge a fortune for the high that came from magically sourced insertables.
So, Belinda had been little bit pissed-off about losing all that expensive black-market magic. And she’d been lucky to be able to bribe enough people to keep her business license. But still…a fucking pocket world? And all that pink?
“I thought the government confiscated all the unicorn stuff,” Draven said, ever the sweet, trusting teddy bear.
I booped him on the nose. “Most of it. I accidentally brought this one home. And, oops…no one seemed to notice. It’d be more trouble than it’s worth now, to return it to the feds.”
Draven leveled a look at me from under his thick brows. “Accidentally? How do you just accidentally steal a set of magic anal beads?”
I shrugged one shoulder. “They fell out of the case. And into my bag. And under a cloaking charm I just happened to have on me.” I grinned. “Oops.”
Draven rolled his eyes and collapsed backward onto the bed, pretending to be done with me and my wonderful bullshit.
“So,” Cassius said, his blue eyes twinkling with glee. “Who gets to try them first?”
I threw my head back and laughed. It was so damned good to be home.
