VALENTINA

Max is lying across the foot of the bed with a corporate ownership chart balanced on his stomach when I tell all three men to put the investigation away.

He lowers the page. “That sounded authoritative.”

“It was.”

Calder closes the folder beside him without argument.

Moreno stops cleaning the pistol in his hands, checks the chamber one final time, and sets the weapon on the dresser.

We have spent most of the day moving through subsidiaries that own pieces of other subsidiaries until company names stopped sounding like language.

The useful result was six new questions and one less theory.

Calder considers that progress. I consider it a reason to stop reading before I start committing violence against paper.

I shut the bedroom door behind me and leave it unlocked.

My separate room is still down the hall, my key still works, and half my clothes remain there because I decided they would. The black shirt I carried into this closet hangs with theirs, while my knife sits where I positioned it beside Calder’s gun. Wanting this room tonight changes none of that.

“I want all three of you,” I say.

Max sits up. “Much better use of authority.”

“I’m not finished.”

“Of course not.”

I look at Calder because he is the one most likely to hear terms as part of the desire instead of an interruption to it. “My room stays mine.”

“Yes.”

“My weapons stay mine.”

“Yes.”

“Tomorrow, if I tell you your theory is wrong in operations, you do not become easier to argue with because I let you fuck me tonight.”

Calder’s expression barely changes. “I would find that insulting.”

“Good.”

Moreno says, “Anything else?”

“Yes.” I cross the room and take the clean cloth from his hand. “Stop polishing weapons in bed. You are becoming somebody’s grandfather.”

Max laughs. Moreno takes the cloth back from me.

“I was on the chair.”

“Within sight of the bed. Same decline.”

“You came here to insult me?”

“I came here because I have wanted your mouth on me for the last two hours.”

The cloth hits the dresser.

Max says, “I suddenly support retirement hobbies.”

“Boots off,” I tell all three. “I am not having sex with men dressed for a raid.”

Calder and Moreno comply. Max turns removing his into a performance until I pull him upright by the collar. His hands settle at my waist. “Tell me where to start.”

“Here.”

I kiss him because familiarity has not made him less effective at mixing desire with laughter. When he smiles against my mouth, I bite him hard enough to remove the expression.

“Better,” I say.

“Violent quality control.”

Calder comes close when I reach for him.

Moreno remains a step back, not distant so much as waiting for the instruction he knows is coming.

Six years ago I thought the three of them moving together was instinct.

Now I know how much of it is attention. They do not need to compete for space because they are always reading where the others already are.

I take Calder’s hand and place it at the back of my neck. “Kiss me.”

He does. Calder never wastes movement once he has permission. His mouth is firm without trying to overwhelm mine, one hand holding the back of my neck while the other stays at my waist until I pull it under my shirt.

Max moves behind me and starts opening the buttons of the jacket I forgot to remove. “May I assist with the obvious logistical failure?”

“You may shut up and use both hands.”

“Romance survives.”

He slides the jacket off my shoulders. Moreno takes it from him before it hits the floor, which earns him a look from me.

“Do not hang it up.”

He drops it over the chair.

“Progress,” I say.

Moreno comes to me when I crook one finger. “You said mouth.”

“I remember.”

“Bed.”

“That sounded suspiciously like an order.”

“It was a location.”

I laugh, push him back onto the mattress, and remove my shirt while all three men watch.

This is not the masquerade or the motel, and nobody is using sex to prove desire survived or to win an argument.

They know my scars, my weapons, and the difference between my leaving for space and disappearing from fear.

Tonight I want them because I choose them.

I remove my bra and toss it at Max. “Useful?”

“Deeply.”

Calder takes it from his face and puts it on the chair. Max looks offended.

I step out of my pants and underwear, then put one knee beside Moreno’s hip. “Lie back.”

He does, shoulders against the mattress, feet still on the floor. I straddle his chest facing the headboard and brace one hand near his shoulder.

“Comfortable?” I ask.

“Yes.”

“Good.”

I move higher until his mouth reaches my pussy. Moreno grips my thighs only after I settle them on either side of his head. The first touch is his tongue, direct and deliberate over my clit. I adjust forward when I want more pressure.

“That,” I say.

He stays there.

Max climbs onto the bed beside me and kisses one breast while Calder stands at the other side, still dressed from the waist down. I reach for Calder’s belt and open it one-handed because the position leaves my other palm planted beside Moreno’s shoulder.

Calder looks down at me. “You’re multitasking.”

“You have complained about my efficiency before.”

“I have never complained about this version.”

I free his cock and wrap my hand around it. Moreno’s tongue changes angle beneath me, and my grip on Calder tightens.

Calder says, “Careful.”

“Do you want me to stop?”

“No.”

“Then survive.”

Max laughs against my breast while his free hand cups the other one. My knee shifts, Moreno readjusts his hold, and Calder moves closer when I reach farther for him. Max braces across the bed rather than making anyone give up space.

I stroke Calder while Moreno keeps his mouth exactly where I told him. The pressure builds until my hips start moving with it. Moreno does not try to hold me still. He follows the rhythm I set, one hand sliding around my ass to steady me when I move too far forward.

“Fingers,” I tell him.

His hand moves between my thighs. Two fingers push into me while his tongue stays on my clit. I curse and catch Calder’s hip with my free hand.

Max lifts his head. “Still good?”

“Yes. Do not become responsible now.”

“I am responsible in very selective ways.”

I reach for his hair and pull him back to my breast. “Demonstrate quietly.”

He obeys for almost a full minute.

Moreno curls his fingers inside me. The angle is familiar enough that I know what he is doing before he increases the pressure. My body tightens around his hand while I keep stroking Calder, though the movement loses precision.

Calder catches my wrist. “You can stop doing that.”

“I am capable of two things.”

“Three, apparently.”

“Do not flatter yourself.”

His hand stays around my wrist without controlling it. I use his grip for balance and come against Moreno’s mouth, hips moving through the release until I need less. Moreno slows when I shift backward and stops when I lift away.

I sit on his stomach, breathing hard enough to make Max look pleased with everyone’s work.

“Do not make a joke,” I warn.

“I am respecting the moment.”

“That is worse.”

Moreno wipes his mouth with the back of his hand. “You wanted all three.”

“I am getting there.”

I climb off him and reach for the condom box in the nightstand. We keep it beside the lubricant now because apparently domestic assimilation includes knowing which drawer contains weapons and which contains sex supplies. I check the packet before handing it to Calder.

“You first.”

Calder removes the rest of his clothes while Max pulls his shirt over his head and Moreno stands to do the same. I take a second condom and toss it toward Max.

“Preparation is not permission,” I tell him.

“I know.”

Moreno holds out his hand. I give him the third packet.

Calder sits against the headboard after rolling the condom on. I straddle him facing forward, one knee on either side of his hips. His hands rest on my thighs.

“What do you want me controlling?” he asks.

“Yourself.”

“That is not an answer.”

“It is tonight.” I take his cock and position him. “Hands on my hips. You can guide the rhythm after I start it.”

“Understood.”

I sink down slowly. The first stretch makes me stop halfway, not from pain so much as sensitivity after Moreno’s mouth. Calder stays still. Max kneels behind me and sweeps my hair over one shoulder without touching anywhere else.

“Need anything?” he asks.

“Give me a second.”

Nobody fills the second with reassurance I did not request.

I lower myself the rest of the way when I am ready. Calder’s hands settle more firmly at my hips, waiting until I move first. I rise and take him again, setting a measured pace before his grip starts assisting.

Max kisses the back of my neck. Moreno sits close enough on the other side of Calder that I can reach him. I do, wrapping my hand around Moreno’s bare cock while the open condom packet waits in his other hand.

“Not ready for that?” I ask.

“I’m waiting for you.”

“Then stop waiting.”

He rolls the condom on.

Max’s hand moves around my body and settles over my clit. “Pressure?”

“Light. I am still sensitive.”

He uses two fingers, careful enough that I can keep riding Calder without the touch becoming too much. Calder starts guiding me harder at the hips, not changing the pace so much as meeting it. I lean back against Max’s chest for support.

Calder could set the rhythm from where he sits, but he follows mine. When I slow, his hands loosen; when I take him deeper, he gives me only enough pressure to hold the angle.

“Faster,” I say.

He does.

Max adjusts his fingers. Moreno kisses me when I turn toward him, one hand at the side of my neck without closing around it. Max eases when the pressure on my clit sharpens; Moreno gives me the rougher kiss I ask for, and Calder keeps the pace I set.

I come again while riding Calder, less abruptly than the first time and deeper through my hips. Calder keeps moving until I tell him to slow. His control finally frays when I tighten around him and kiss him at the same time.

“Come,” I tell him.
