Chapter 15

chapter fifteen

“Shit Ivy, you got better at this. Now if you don’t move, you better swallow every drop.” I gripped the edge of the hot tub, it was hard with all the bubbles making the whole thing slippery.

Ivory insisted on planning a date for me since she claimed I was trying to upstage her. It touched me that she wanted to contribute to the romance portion of our bucket list.

She woke me up with the best morning head of my life, then we went horseback riding at sunrise. We spent the rest of our time at a spa, I’ve had this crank in my arm since she arrived but I didn’t think to get a massage.

They worked every sore muscle, and now she was working me all over again. I didn’t want to push her to be ready for more, so we have yet to go farther than this but I wasn’t complaining.

Ivory didn’t slow down, no matter how hard the water splashed all over her.

“I-I’m, fuck Ivory. You’re so good to me, princess, don’t stop.” It felt illegal to have the desire to give this girl every part of me. But let’s keep it real, she already owned me. She just didn’t know it yet.

I came hard, harder than any other time. As much as I wanted to sink deep inside of her, I didn’t.

But, I did kiss all over her body until she came as hard as me.

The Grille was lively at this time, so I sat down at the bar, ready to order a drink. I was told to act normal, so this was my attempt.

“Hello, Handsome, can I buy you a drink?” A sultry voice said, I knew that voice.

Ivory was trying to fucking kill me, I just knew it. She had on some heels that should be cuffed around my ears. The long leather skirt exposed her right thigh when she went to sit down next to me. She had on a black long sleeve shirt, but her braless top exposed her nipple rings.

I was going to fuck up anyone that looked at her for too long.

“Nah, but you can let me buy you one.” The bartender came over when he saw my finger up, “What would you like, beautiful?” Ivory leaned up over my shoulder, her perfume was intoxicating and I wanted to say fuck this whole role-play shit and take her back to my house.

“I’d love something bold and strong enough to keep me up all night.” Her lips brushed against my ear, she was playing a dangerous game.

I was the winner between the two of us and I never lost a game in my life.

“Get the lady a whiskey and lemonade, and I’ll take a whiskey on the rocks.” Brown liquor would have her dancing off the bar top in no time.

“You got it, man,” Ivory’s eyes were dancing up and down my body; I put a lot of thought into my outfit. We matched with the all black, but I threw on a maroon button-down shirt that I left open to keep my jewelry on display.

Ivory got me a necklace way back in college, it was gold with a golf ball pendant. I took it with me to all of my tournaments. She worked a few extra hours to save up for it, so I kept it all these years.

“Dj, I know you still don’t have that old raggedy thing. I could have gotten you something better by now.”

“Aye, don’t talk about my stuff like that. It’s not raggedy, it’s well loved.” I could have replaced the chain over the years but why would I do that?

“I remember you was hot with me for working all of those hours. That was my first big girl purchase, the best $500 I spent that year.” I turned her over to face me fully and traced tiny circles on her upper thigh.

“Yeah, I didn’t want you overworking yourself, I think we suck at this role-playing thing. How about we just be ourselves?” I didn’t want to imagine her like anyone else, Ivory being herself was good enough for me.

“Okay, you fun sucker, don’t act like it’s your first time meeting a chick in the bar.” Standing up, I pulled her up out of her seat to whisper in her ear.

“Yeah, but I wouldn’t dare do to one of those women everything I plan to do to you tonight. We ain’t gotta pretend, I have been on brick just thinking about you. There’s no need for the games, princess, let’s get out of here and go on a walk.”

Ivory stuck her tongue out at me, “While that was very sweet, you know I love to play games. It’s my favorite pastime.”

“You definitely are playing a dangerous game without a bra on tonight. But imma let you rock out because you with me. Don’t pull this again unless you’re with me, got it?” I gripped her chin and her eyes fluttered closed.

“Yes, Papa,” she winked.

“Get outta here with that.” I laughed, throwing a few bills on the counter. We left without even getting our drinks.

Donavan drove us over to the beach, it was slightly colder at this time of night. But he was prepared with blankets, hot drinks, and some delicious food.

“Can we check in with each other? I wanna know how you’re doing with everything.” He said from behind me, I was nestled in his arms.

“Do I have to move out of my spot?” I stuffed more mac and cheese in my mouth. I’m glad he didn’t bring the traditional beach foods, because I was hungry as hell.

“Nope, just don’t try to lie about how you feel. You know I can tell when you are.” Annoying.

“I won’t, just ask away.” I steadied myself for his question.

“Are you ready to admit that you’re in love with me yet?” The food that was going comfortably down my digestive system was now stuck in the back of my throat.

I tried to cough it up, but it just wouldn’t budge.

Donavan poured water down my throat, and greedily, I drank it until the food passed through.

“Fuck,” Taking a few deep breaths to calm my raging heart, I didn’t make eye contact with him.

I knew the answer, and he wasn’t going to like it one bit.

“It’s fine, Ivory, don’t worry about it.” He was upset with me.

“Don’t be mad, Donavan, I just don’t know how to feel.” A lie.

“I don’t want to say the wrong thing.” Another lie.

He got up from being my personal seat and walked down towards the water.

Should I follow him? Dusting off the sand from my legs, I took slow measurable strides towards him.

I touched his back, but he didn’t turn around. Donavan never stayed mad at me for too long in the past, but this was different.

His heart was on the line, shoot, mine was, too.

“I’m not ready to admit that right now,” He turned to face me and I saw the anguish in his eyes.

“What are you ready to say, then? You have to give me something. Please.” Searching my thoughts for something, I was scared – no, petrified – of the truth.

“I feel everything for you and that’s scary in itself.

My heart has never ached for anyone, I didn’t know it could do that.

The everything I feel, it consumes me whenever you’re nearby and I’m not ready to put it into words yet.

You can’t rush this process for me, Donavan, it’s not fair.

” He didn’t say anything for a few seconds, he watched me, watch him.

“You’re right, it’s not fair and I’m sorry. I just… needed to know if I was alone in my feelings. But I got my answer. Thank you.” He captured my lips, alleviating the pressure in my chest. My bottom lip was under attack by his skillful sucks, I wrapped my arms around him to bring him closer.

“You have to promise to let me come to terms with it on my own.” I breathlessly stated.

Donavan kissed my forehead.

“I promise.”
