Chapter 30 JacQues

This bitch wasn’t dead!

That’s all I could think as I got the fuck out of that ballroom. I’d shot her. The hospital confirmed she was dead, so what the fuck was she doing here alive in the flesh?

“Where the hell is my wife?” I asked security as we entered a back room. “You were supposed to keep an eye on her.”

“She was talking to some guy. They disappeared before we could get to her—”

I went across his face with an open palm. “The fuck do you mean she disappeared? Go fucking find her! Now!”

They rushed from the room to search for Alissa.

I silently cursed under my breath. This bitch was somewhere with a stranger, drunk as hell, and we were in fucking danger.

Pulling out my phone, I tried to call her, but the phone went straight to voicemail.

I tried again, only to get the same results.

“Fuck!”

Just as I went to throw the phone, it started ringing. I answered without even paying attention to the contact.

“Alissa, where the fuck are you?”

Giggles came through the earpiece.

“This isn’t Alissa,” sang a familiar voice.

“Bitch.”

She laughed. “Did you miss me? I missed you… real fucking bad.”

“Where is my fucking wife?”

“She's safe… for now. I’m trying to decide what I’m going to do with her. Maybe I’ll gut her like I did Jazmine. I know you found her.”

I swallowed hard. “You touch her, and I’ll make sure I kill you this time.”

She giggled again. “Not if I kill you first. Just thinking about the way I’m gonna do you makes my pussy wet. You remember how bad you wanted to fuck me, JacQues? God, you were so thirsty. You really believed you had a chance to ever touch me. You fucking disgust me.”

“We’ll see how disgusting I am when I shove my dick between those pretty little lips of yours, bitch. Before I kill you, you’re gonna see exactly what I do to bitches that cross me.”

She tsked. “My husband can hear you, so keep this same energy when you meet him face to face. We’re gonna have so much fun with you. But for now, I’m just gonna have fun with your wife.”

She hung up in my face while I yelled obscenities at her.

“Fucking bitch!” I yelled.

Going to my recent calls, I dialed my son. He had to get a trace on Alissa’s phone right now. The phone rang five times before it picked up.

“JJ, I need—”

“Not JJ, bitch,” came a deep voice on the other end.

I pulled the phone from my ear and stared at the screen, making sure I had dialed the right number.

“Who is this?”

He chuckled. “A very angry father, my nigga. You shot my baby girl, and she lost my granddaughter. Wait until you see what we take from you.”

He hung up the phone, and my heart started racing.

Immediately, I dialed my daughter’s number. Her call was answered on the third ring.

“Jackie?”

Another fucking set of giggles. “No, not Jackie,” came a woman’s voice. “She can’t come to the phone right now, but you’ll be seeing her very soon.

“You with that bitch too?”

“What bitch are you referring to because I know it’s not my daughter. Not my baby.”

“You muthafuckas are gonna be sorry! Fucking sorry!”

She laughed in my ear. “Oooo. You’re mad, huh? I guess we’ve got you right where we want you. Since I had to watch my baby bleeding out, we’ll give you that same courtesy. Don’t think you can run either. We’re just getting started.”

She hung up in my face, just like the two before her. I wanted to scream. I wanted to choke something. How had they gotten the drop on me like that?

Who was this bitch!
