June’s Entry
Place: Bookstore/Juice Bar
My Bookstore Girl,
In a few days, I will blow your mind. Of course, by the time you read this, it will have all happened. Zaria, I owe you the world because you’ve done something many have tried to do and never accomplished. You saved my life long enough for me to get to the finish line.
The day your ass ran in front of my car was the day I knew God was shifting things to bring you into my life.
I knew then it was the start of something, but I wasn’t sure.
However, the thought of letting your slick-ass mouth slide bothered me so much that I ended up back at the very same spot my future wife stood.
Baby, if I could have fucked you that night, I would have, but I’m a gentleman, and you know that.
*wink* I want to be honest with you. You had a nigga shook.
I was scared when I approached you. I wasn’t afraid you were going to beat my ass, but rather that you couldn’t see past the mask that sat before you and find a way to love me genuinely.
Bookstore Girl! That’s what I called you, and still, you are here.
So, I wanted to recreate the day you stole my heart.
The day I knew it would be us, running side by side.
The day you chose me. I hope the night brings you all the comfort in the world.
I hope the day reminds you that our slow-burning love started that day and turned into full-burning flames.
I’m going to fuck you all over that building, I’m going to stroke your soul until it meets me in the Calloverse. I’m going to remind you who Mr. Calloway is.
Now let’s get to the fun shit.
I love you from our Calloverse, but you know that.
Signed.
Mr. Fucking Calloway
