Chapter 12 /Edited
Meeting Eric's parents was fun but now I just had to meet the pack. Eric was picking me up the same time as yesterday and I wasn't worried with what I was going to wear this time.
I put on my black pair of ripped jeans and my Hogwarts sweater. I took my black jacket out of my closet just in case. I went downstairs and there was a knock on the door.
I went to open it thinking it was Eric. Boy was I wrong. I opened the door to see two tall men. They had red eyes and their skin was pale. They had smirks on their faces and I slowly backed away from the door.
They came in and walked closer to me. "What's wrong Blake. Wolf got your tongue?" He said. What did these vampires want.
"Why are you here?" I asked. I stopped when I hit the wall.
The guy with the short hair held my face up so I would look at him. "We just wanted to see the hybrids mate." He said. He was so close to my face. I froze on the spot. I wanted to scream but I couldn't.
"You are a pretty little thing aren't you. I see why Eric is so overprotective of you. I wonder what would happen if you got hurt." He grabbed my arm and held me in a tight grip.
"Stop! Stop that hurts!" I screamed. His nails digged into my skin and it started to bleed. The tears rolled down my cheeks. Suddenly the was a loud growl. We both looked to see Eric and he looked mad.
"Let her go!" He demanded. The vampire held me close and dug deeper into my arm. I screamed in pain and the blood kept coming.
"Stay back Eric." The vampire said. Eric stood still. His claws went deeper and I screamed.
"Stop hurting her! What the hell do you want Jonathan?" Eric asked. He knew this vampire?
"I was just upset you didn't tell me about your human mate." Jonathan said. My legs gave in due to the pain and I fell to the ground.
"Oh look. She is weak." Jonathan said. He finally let go of my arm and ran out with the other vampire. Eric ran to me and held me in his arms as I cried. The pain in my arm was unimaginable.
"Its ok. Lets get you to the pack house." He said. He picked me up bridal style and place me in the passenger seat of his car. He quickly got in and drove to the pack house. One of the books that Celeste and Leah gave me said something about vampires and them using their nails but I couldn't think.
I become numb. "What's happening?" I asked Eric.
"Vampire nails has this kind of poison in it. It can either turn you or kill you. If it would turn you, you would've passed out by now." He explained.
If I was suppose to pass out a while ago, does that mean Im dying. My vision become blurry and I wanted to sleep. "Blake. You need to stay awake." Eric said. I felt the car go faster.
My eye lids got heavy. I couldn't stay awake. "Blake. Think of your mom. She can't loose you." Eric said. He was right. I tried my best to stay awake as long as possible.
The car came to a stop and Eric took me out of the car. He rushed inside and to the pack doctor. "What happened?" I heard Mrs Daniels ask.
"Jonathan dug his nails in her arm." Eric said. I felt a pain in my head then I screamed. "Blake." Eric said my name.
"M-my arm. B-burning." I managed to say.
"I need you to step outside." The pack doctor and. They left the room and the doctor injected me with something. "This will stop the poison. Try to stay awake luna." She said. Did she just call me luna.
I screamed again due to the burning and a pain that hit my entire body. Then I passed out.
I ran into the room when I heard blake screamed. "What happened?" I asked and looked at Vanessa.
"Its one of the side affects. I gave her the anti-venom. She should wake up in the next four hours." Vanessa said. I walked to Blake and saw the tears stained on her cheeks.
She seemed to be in so much pain when I saw what Jonathan did. I couldn't do anything to stop him. This was all my fault. I took Blake's hand and kissed the top gently. "Im so sorry Blake. I was supposed to protect you." I said.
I felt tears stinging my eyes. I refused to cry but I couldn't help it. I could feel her pain. I didn't know what to do to help her get better faster. The doors suddenly flew open and Celeste ran in.
"Eric. What the hell happened to Blake?" She asked furiously.
"Jonathan. He found out about Blake." I said. Celeste's dark blue eyes turned into a light blue. She was just as mad as I was.
"You were supposed to protect her!" She yelled and shoved me.
"I didn't think He would find out so soon." I said.
"This is your fault!" She slapped me in the face and I had enough of her.
"It wasn't supposed to happen. He threatened me with her life. What was I supposed to do?!" I asked. My eyes changed to a dark black but Celeste didn't seem scared. She was about to attack me but Leah and Jason held her back and Penelope stood in front of me.
"Stop it. This won't help." Penelope said. Celeste looked like she was going to shift and I wasn't going to let her hurt me cause of what happened. Celeste parents came in and tried to calm her down.
I felt my beast wanting to come out and end Celeste right now. I shouldn't cause she is Blake's best friend. "Celeste. You getting mad won't help." I said.
"It will help me hurt you." She growled out.
She pushed pass her family and Jason held her back. "Celeste stop it!" We turned to see Blake sitting up. Impossible. We all rushed to her side. "Why are you guys fighting?" Blake asked.
We all fell silent. Blake held her head and she layed back down. "Im sorry Blake. Its my fault. I got mad when I heard what happened." Celeste said. Blake took Celeste's hand and Celeste had tears running down her cheeks.
Blake smiled. "It takes more than poison to kill me." Blake said. They laughed and Blake looked at me. Her smiled disappeared. "Can I speak with Eric alone please?" Blake asked. They nodded and left the room.
Once they were gone Blake got up and almost fell. "What are you doing? You need to lay down." I said. She held on to me so she could stand.
"None of this was your fault. I just want to know. Why did the vampire come after me?" She asked.
"To see if I did have a mate." I said. Blake gave me a hug and I hugged her back.
"Your not gonna let him live are you?" She asked. She looked at me with a smile on her face.
"Nope. He is dead meat." I said and she laughed.
Blake texted her mom saying she was going to stay over for the night. Blake was so stubborn that she forced herself to walk instead of rest. She would loose her balance for a bit but she started walking fine after two hours of falling on her butt.
Celeste and her family left after dinner and Celeste apologised for her out burst. Im pretty sure thats thanks to Blake. Everyone went home and Blake was still being stubborn about waiting on meeting the pack.
"Blake. You need to rest. You can meet the pack when your better." I said.
"But I am better. Penelope, who do agree with. Me or your brother?" We both looked at Penelope and she ignored us.
"You need rest." I said.
"No I dont. You should trust me more. Im fine. The poison is gone and I feel like myself." Blake said. She did look like fine but I didn't want to take any risks.
"Just let her meet the pack son." My mom said. She smiled at Blake and she smiled back at my mom.
"Your mom is smart. You should listen to her." Blake said.
"Ok. Time for bed." I said and picked up Blake and took her to my room.
When we got to my room I closed the door. "Put me down Eric." She said. I placed her on her feet and I walked over to my closet.
"What are you doing?" She asked. I threw on of my shirts to her and it landed on her head.
"Is this supposed to be funny?" She asked and I chuckled.
"You can go take a shower and wear that to sleep in." I said and she took the shirt off her head. I handed her a towel and she took it, walking to the bathroom.
I heard her turn the faucet and I got undressed. I was just wearing my boxers and sat on my bed. I took out my phone and went through instagram.
