After Noah pleasured the heat out of me, I’m tied to him. Literally.
Noah clears his throat, afraid of my reaction. His flexing abdomen rocks my body, our organs fused so tightly that I shiver whenever he takes a deep breath.
He genuinely must’ve grown inside me. It’s unusual, but I’m too high on Noah’s touch to care.
This moment is a celebration. I allowed a man inside me again, and I feel good. Happy, but coated in a lazy bliss.
And I can’t stop smiling. “I do feel pretty full.”
Noah drops his head against my shoulder with a shaky sigh. “I’m sorry. I hope it doesn’t hurt.”
“No, it actually felt ridiculously good.”
I don’t usually admit my pleasure aloud, but it’s worth it today; my heart explodes with affection for Noah’s blushing cheeks, a slow smile creeping onto his hiding face.
I bite back an excited giggle, not wanting to embarrass him. “Which part... grew, exactly? Like, it got longer, or...?”
Noah clears his throat, pausing before muttering, “W-wider. We’re - um - literally knotted together.”
This is the opposite of Noah’s horny wolf that I just let screw me to heaven and back - shy, teal irises glued to my pierced pillow despite how closely he huddles into me for affection. I chew on the inside of my cheek, stifling my adoration.
“I-I didn’t know I could knot,” he says. “You’re the first, so I... I don’t know how long it will take to stop swelling. I’m sorry.”
My heart flips. Does he mean I’m the first one he’s felt good enough with to knot?
I urge his lips closer, kissing him softly. Butterflies fill my stomach as he flexes inside me. We both softly moan.
“Don’t be sorry. This was a first for both of us. I’ve never asked someone to do so much for me during sex. I feel so free,” I say.
He buries his nose into my neck with a giddy smile, his hot cheeks coating me in shivers. But his shy nuzzling isn’t sexual, sending fuzzy warmth into my heart.
“How’s the heat?” He asks.
“A thousand times better. My body feels so relaxed.” I break into a giggle at his rising, delighted shoulders. “But you seem like you have some energy left.”
Noah wraps his arms around my waist, squeezing me tight to his chest as he grows quieter. “My wolf is happy.”
I giggle, and I can feel Noah smile against my neck.
As we settle into a relaxed flop against the mattress, Noah weighs me into the cotton sheets. I return his nuzzling affections, rubbing our noses together.
He pauses to give my swollen lips a gentle kiss. “Tell me about something you love.”
My heart throbs, delighted by the heaviness of his body draped over me and the earnestness in his exhausted voice.
“I want to know everything about you,” he whispers.
I don’t know why, but my eyes water.
But I’m also smiling. “God, how are you so adorable, Noah? I love it.”
His worried eyes soften into a bashful glint.
“You wanted me to tell you about something I love?” I ask. He nods, peeking up at me curiously. My breath shortens, taken by this soft side of him. “I-it’s a little silly...”
Noah rumbles out a disagreeing hum, cuddling against my cheek. “Tell me anyway.”
I flush, unable to hold back a smile. “I love... feeling needed. I love nurturing people around me, making them feel loved or wanted. My favorite part of my job is coming home covered in tears, snot, or grubby finger smudges. I like to believe it means my little preschoolers know I’m a safe person.”
Noah grins. “You teach preschool, sweet Omega?”
“I do. It’s hard work, but they make me smile every day.”
“That’s– Ugh, Goddess, I still can’t believe you’re my mate.” He smashes his nose into my cheek. “We just met, but I can already picture you being the sweetest teacher.”
With each of Noah’s doting whispers, I flush just as soon as my last blush fades. “Well, I try. I like to create a class that feels like their second home.”
Noah’s eyes dance between mine, his full attention on me. He gives me another massaging squeeze. “My sweet Omega.”
I laugh, pressing myself back into him in return. “Why do I feel like your tail would be wagging right now in wolf form?”
“It so is.” He chuckles, pressing a soft kiss on my neck. My heart flips.
I want to know more about him too.
“Noah?”
“Hmm?”
“Who’s your most important person?”
Noah hums, kissing my shoulder. “That’s a tough one. My whole pack is important to me. I wouldn’t be able to function without my top Beta, Yasmine. She’s technically my badass second-in-command, but she’s really my best friend and always has been. But there’s also my mom, the current Luna. She holds us together, and she’s an Omega who takes no shit. But if I’m honest, my little sister, Rainn, is always my most special wolf. She’s a sweet Omega too - so warm to everyone she meets and always smiling. Maybe her.” He gazes into my eyes, running a wave of comfort down my sides with his palms. “You’re also now on my top favorite wolf list.”
So Noah has an entire community behind him, and it’s seemingly close-knit. That’s something I’ve always wanted.
My heart pounds even before I ask my next question. “Am I part of your pack now?”
Noah smiles, stroking my hair back to kiss my bare neck again in wave after wave of buzzing pleasure. “I want you to be, but it’s not up to me to decide.”
My stomach sinks. “Even though I’m part Lycan, you still think your pack will reject me?”
“Oh, my poor Omega. I didn’t mean that. I meant that it’s your decision and yours alone. I’ve already decided I’m fighting for you if anyone has something to say about it.”
I furrow my brows, unsure about something in his words. “Noah, how big is your pack?”
He drops his head. “About twenty thousand wolves...”
I have to fight to hold back a gasp. He’s way more influential than I think he’d ever like to admit, chewing his lip and avoiding eye contact. But now I know what sounded off. “So why does it matter if one new wolf joins? Is it just because I’m your mate and you’re their head Alpha?”
Noah sighs. “I didn’t want to pressure you with anything, but they’re expecting my mate to be the next Luna.”
“The next Luna...” I rack my brain, struggling to understand what that has to do with his pack accepting me. “Didn’t you call your mom that?”
“Yes. She was my dad’s Luna - the usual pack position for the top Alpha’s mate. They led the pack together.”
My stomach drops.
Noah’s scent sweetens, washing calmness over me. “I don’t expect you to want to become my Luna. I don’t live by tradition, even though half the pack resents me for it.”
I stay silent - despite my wolf begging me to speak up. She wants to be Luna so badly. But besides barely understanding what “Luna” means, do I have what it takes to lead twenty thousand wolves? I just learned I’m part Lycan.
Noah whines as he kisses my neck, likely smelling my distress.
But before I can speak, my front door slams. I jump, tightening my abdomen in panic. Without knowing why I’m so startled, Noah soothes me with a steady squeeze.
“It’s just your friend,” he whispers.
“My–?”
“Taming my Alpha took longer than I expected!” Amy shouts. “You better be unmarked and using protection!”
Amy stomps down the hall, making headway.
And we’re butt-naked and still knotted.
