The doctor exited the emergency room, and soon the medical staff shifted Eva to the ICU unit, which caused the Smith men to worry.
The doctor informed them that someone had drugged Eva with a heavy dose.
They are keeping Eva under observation and it’s important that she gain consciousness soon or else chances of slipping into coma are high
Eva tried to open her eyes, but the bright light made her close her eyes once again. Eva was trying to remember what happened to her. She felt her head light. She was trying to analyze her surroundings with closed eyes

He again kissed her palm. Eva recognised the voice very well; it was Stephen. She decided to listen more; it was the first time she was listening to his soul.

Eva tried to hide her state with a smile and replied,
“Last night I kept chatting with Sara, so I slept late and then slept till afternoon.

Michael wanted to ask about her decision so he signaled the others to vacate as he wanted to listen to Eva in solitude
After the smith family left the room, Michael asked his question
"Eva dear, I never forced you for anything till date. I know my daughter is a very mature girl and independent enough to take her own decisions. Marriage is a lifetime commitment. If so, I want to follow your wish; if you don’t like Stephen, then it’s ok.
“Dad, I am ready."

Michael grinned as he already knew that Eva will agree, but he was making sure that she will not feel like they forced her to marry Stephen
"Are you sure, sweetheart?”

“Eva, should I inform the Smith family about this? I mean, you will not go back from your decision or if you need some more time to think, then go ahead."
Eva blinked her tears away and started with confidence

Eva gave a nod. She started feeling dizzy again. She understood she needed rest, so she told Michael
“Dad, I am feeling a little tired. I think I should get some more sleep. I will see you tomorrow."

Exiting the room, she found the Smith family waiting in the lobby. Rose reached to her to support her as she was still weak
Stephen was observing her weak state
He did not appreciate the way Eva insisted on being discharged, as it is clear from her state that she needs proper care, which the hospital can provide better.
Before Eva could request Rose to take her to the Smith mansion. She felt someone pick her up in the air. She noticed Stephen was carrying her in his arms in bridal style
“What… “ Eva snarled
“You are staying in the hospital under observation, and no more discussions."
The Smith family were gaping at the whereas Eva was feeling too weak to have an argument with Stephen
Soon Stephen reached to the vip room and settled Eva on bed
Eva looked at him with confusion
“You must rest. We will take care of everything else.
“But..dad will know."
“Leave it to me. I will handle that.“ Stephen spoke while covering her in sheets.
. Eva just gave a nod, and soon her eyes started dropping again
After leaving Eva in the care of nurses and doctors and arranging some men outside her room, he reached Michael‘s room, but the scene in front took him by surprise.
As her mother was squealing like a kid, his brother hugged him in joy, and his father and Michael were in discussion with a big smile plastered on their faces
“What’s going on? “ Stephen asked Steve, but before Steve could reply, her squealing mother clung to him and placed a kiss on his cheek
‘Mom…”
Stephen got irritated with her childish behavior
“She said yes. Eva said she agreed to marry you.”
The moment she finished speaking, it left Stephen in utter astonishment, unable to move from his spot.
