Chapter 47 Wedding
After getting knowledge about her consent, Stephen was happy, but he still going through some doubts, so he confronted Eva the next morning; as for her, she was not doing well
William noticed his worried face and asked him the reason when they were sitting alone in the hospital's lobby. Stephen shared his doubt with his dad
“I don’t think it’s needed, Stephen, as from the day I noticed Eva, one thing is sure: she is a strong-headed and mature girl.
She is going through a difficult phase, first her dad’s accident, then the truth about her mother’s background.

Eva held her dad's hand as he sat in the wheelchair. Soft music started playing, and Eva entered the vast garden., walking on a decorated altar.
Eva could feel the gazes of the guest on her as the guest was curious to know about the lucky girl who was going to be Stephen’s wife
Eva then looked ahead and found Richard and Steve standing behind Stephen dressed as best man

Eva looked at the ring first, then she noticed Stephen already had forwarded his hand and was waiting for her. With shivering hands, she slid the ring on Stephen‘s finger.
Everyone cheered and clapped for the couple
“Now I pronounce you both as husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Again, the guests hooted and cheered for the couple
Stephen steps and uplifts the veil. Eva was so nervous that she didn’t dare to look at him, so he held her chin up and Eva noticed his face near her
She closed her eyes, and soon she felt a hold on her waist and his warm lips kissed on the corner of her mouth just for a second or two and then he stood beside her, holding her by her waist
Eva was stunned to see his behavior. She expected he would kiss her passionately after all hishad come true today.
Stephen lost his heart one more time to the girl whose one smile bring a glow in his world
He didn’t realize when he felt tears in his eyes when he saw her walking towards him in the beautiful gown.
He has to blink his eyes to hold back the tears. The moment he felt her soft hand in, he gave an assuring nod at Michael, as he is the one who is trusting him with his precious daughter.
The moment the priest announced then husband and wife, he felt his world complete
But he noticed how Eva glanced at Michael before answering the priest and that he hated the most.
He never wanted her to marry him only for his dad’s satisfaction, whereas he wished her to marry him with her own will. Not under any pressure. Stephen wished things could change soon between them and Eva will feel the same love for him
When he reached near her to kiss her, he felt her body going stiff. He just lifted the veil and placed a small kiss at the corner of his lips. He didn’t want to force his desires on her. Truth be told, Stephen was confident in himself that he would make her beg for him soon.
Soon the families reached them to congratulate, and that was followed by a wedding photoshoot. All the time, Eva felt his hand around her waist as he was keeping her close
Soon the people started enjoying the food, and soft music started. Eva was observing the relatives who were glancing at them now and then. Some were looking at her with a jealous gaze.
