I t took two weeks for Chayce to finally get answers out of the woman who kidnapped me and stole from the town. Her name is Olivia, and she is a witch. She combined the footprints of three different animals to disguise her own tracks. Using a scent-masking spell, she hid herself.
The woman was escaping someone who wanted to harm her because she was a witch. She was able to evade them but had gotten hurt in the exchange. Her original plan was to continue to the coast. That isn’t going to happen as she is awaiting charges and facing jail time, adding kidnapping to the trespassing and theft charges.
Emmalee went back to Boston last week. Something happened to my friend, and the light that shines from her soul is diminished.
Kyle finished my car, and Chayce and Brady went and picked it up. Home has become my refuge, as my anxiety spikes if I have to leave. The only way I go out is if Chayce is plastered to my side.
It is something that I need to work on, but not today.
Life has a way of steering our path to what will make us happy, even if we don’t see it at the time. Like they say… when life gives you lemons, grab the tequila and make margaritas.
