WELCOME TO DEATH RIDER ACADEMY. PREPARE FOR AN ADVENTURE TO DIE FOR.

After waking up in the captain of the Death Riders’ dorm room, I’m confused and unsure of how I got there. My memories are gone, and now . . . Im dead.

Finding out how I died isn’t easy. Not when the entire school lives and breathes for its academy trials. In the meantime, I stick like supernatural glue to the only living person who can somewhat sense that I exist: Arcane.

Haunting the less-than-charming captain of the Death Riders isnt for the faint of undead hearts. Black ink covers his arms as much as it probably covers his cruel little soul, but I can see beneath the scars he hides. As the leader of the academys dragon shifters, he might put on a show for his adoring fans, but when the door closes, its just him and me. And no one hates my eternal existence more than him.

But thats not really the biggest issue at this deadly school for dragon riders. The biggest issue happens when I wake up in his bed again. And Im suddenly a real live girl! His possible fated mate, to be exact.

Turns out, the little detail of me passing away isnt even a priority anymore. Because Death Rider Academy has made dying into a sport, and as its newest dragon rider, its determined to break me. The trials, the creatures, and the captain himself should terrify me.

But what do I really have to lose?
