Chapter Sixty-Five
Saoirse
The crowd cheered as Vixen started to play the wedding song I chose. It wasn’t what the Functional Alcoholics had played, but one my gran sang for many weddings in our village over the years.
Vixen had learned it for me, though she put her own special touch on it. That made it even better, combining both my past and my future.
Our pack, my drunk grandfathers, Tadgh, and my cousins, as well as the giant stuffed bride bear had been moved onstage.
I took a deep breath as I walked to the position that we blocked out.
Here goes nothing. I was getting married to my ridiculous musician onstage at a rave. Again.
This time I’d remember it.
A year ago, those were words that would never go together in my mind.
I still couldn’t quite believe that I’d agreed to this, though it was my idea. After all, Winter-Fest was where I stopped being afraid of loving alphas, and when I ceased to let my past dictate my life.
Where I realized I needed to change before I lost the best thing in my life, well, besides Fiona.
And Feral Ratville represented embracing my future.
Fiona bounced in excitement as I joined Dusty in front of Ava. Kace had pushed out a flower wall. The music stopped, and Ava launched into a short but silly wedding speech. Then it was time for the vows.
Fiona and Carlos came over with our rings.
Dusty took the ring from Carlos and turned to me.
“From the moment you fell from the heavens, I knew you were something special. I’m so happy that you are a part of my life and I’m even happier that you have decided that I’m a part of yours.
You asked me once why I called you Mo Shíorghra.
You are the other half of my soul. I don’t promise never to be silly or ridiculous.
But I do promise to always be your silly and ridiculous musician. ”
He slid the band onto my finger.
“I take you as my partner in good times and bad. I’ll love you forever and I won’t go to bed mad.” He flashed me a silly grin.
We had picked the bands out together. While matching, mine also formed a set with the diamond ring, and the band Fiona would give me.
“I think the moment you weren’t silly and ridiculous, I’d realize something was very wrong.
Thank you for being patient with me as I learned to love both you and myself.
I will always love you in good times and bad and as we go through this life together as partners and a family.
” I slid the band onto his finger. “I love you, you wonderful, silly man.”
My grandfathers watched with tears in their eyes. Some of Carlos’ friends down at the front looked teary as well.
Ava chuckled. “You may now kiss your husband.”
Grabbing Dusty by the bowtie, I pulled him to me and kissed him long and deep, as people cheered and whistled.
Vixen and Ava began to sing a song they had written for us as a present. Stage hands helped crowd-surf the giant stuffed bride bear. Tyrell and Kace started tossing out wedding favors to the crowd–special commemorative T-shirts and boxers from Box Munch’s new wedding collection.
Another song started as the four of us launched into a new song, something Dusty had come up with about making choices.
As we sang, the bear found a new home, our pack and my family went into the wings, and the flower wall disappeared.
Squeezing his hand the music changed to Big Dick Contest, and it started to rain inflatable dicks. Yep, that was my husband.
I left the stage with Vixen and Ava as he went back to his equipment and bounced around. Bringing up the party energy, he went into another one of his songs. I stood there and watched him just radiating joy.
“That was the most fun ever,” Ava said as one of her mates brought her Baby Meatloaf, who had on big ear protectors.
The three of us went into the greenroom attached to the stage where we could watch him, but it was quieter.
“Thank you so much for coming all the way out to Greece for this.” I gave Ava a hug. She’d been a really good friend to me, and it wasn’t all music talk and parenting advice.
“I wouldn’t miss it. We get to have a European vacation and then go to a party at a castle in Ireland. We haven’t done much travel since Maya was born,” she added. “The song Dusty sang about your ex and sister was absolutely amazing. I really hope they know it’s them.”
“Tadgh and my cousins will make sure of it,” I agreed.
“And thank you for learning the song,” I added to Vixen.
“It’s so beautiful. It was an honor,” Vixen replied.
Dusty’s set wound down. Vixen went to get ready for her set. Ava left because Baby Meatloaf needed a snack. I went back out to the wings to watch him.
“Alright, Lovely Fuckers. We’re almost at the end.
Thank you so much for joining me tonight on this beautiful evening here in Greece, and thank you for witnessing my wedding to my lovely sky.
” He waved at me and I came quickly out on the stage, waved, and ducked back.
“I hope you had a good time and are planning on staying for the fabulous Vixen Underground next. We have time for one more song.”
He started playing Bang, Bang, Boom, like he’d ended so many sets.
Everyone in the crowd sang and danced, thoroughly enjoying themselves. Finally, the last notes faded.
“Well, I’m out for the evening, Lovely Fuckers, remember be a Ken not a Dick. Thank you for being here tonight.” He waved and ran off the stage.
Dusty picked me up and spun me around. “That was amazing. Have I told you that I love you?”
Still holding me off the ground he gave me a kiss. The stage went dark as they quickly got things ready for Vixen.
I broke out of his grasp and jumped back down to the ground. “I might love you, too. I think.”
He had taken off the wedding coat, but still wore the bowtie and hat. I grabbed him by the tassel of his hat and kissed him.
“You might?” His eyebrows waggled.
“Yes, I think I might love you enough to stay with you forever, have your child, train your dog, and live in a chaotic house, but you know, semantics,” I teased.
“I’d like some semantics tonight.” His grin widened as his eyebrows waggled suggestively.
“That was beautiful.” Grandpa came over and gave me a hug, the rest of my grandfathers with him.
“I’m glad you enjoyed it. I know it wasn’t traditional, but it was us,” I admitted.
“Your gran would’ve loved it,” he whispered, eyes teary.
Tadgh gave me a huge hug. He was tall and broad like my dad, but favored my grandpa in looks. “I still can’t believe you’re mated to BroKen. That was amazing.”
One of my other grandfathers nodded. “Your gran would’ve loved the fact that you are singing in public again.”
“That song about your ex was amazing,” Tadgh added.
“I worked really hard on it,” Dusty said.
“We’re excited to see you marry your Fiona next week, too. She is just so delightful.” His eyes flickered over her as she, Carlos, and Hale talked to my cousins.
“She is,” I agreed.
Grandpa cupped my face with his hand. “We love you and are proud of you. I see so much of your grandmother in you. I think that’s why your parents have always treated you that way. Your mother never liked her, and you know her and your father had a very rocky relationship.”
“Oh, I never thought about it that way.” Not that it excused anything.
My grandfathers left to go find more drinks and food, and my brother went back down to the VIP area to catch Vixen’s set.
Fiona gave me a huge hug. “You are amazing. It was so beautiful. You are beautiful.”
“That was so much fun.” Hale gave me a hug.
“Congratulations.” Carlos also gave me a hug. “You know what he means to me and I’m so glad he has you.”
“I’m glad that we have you, too. If we don’t join you, we'll meet you after the set for the dinner,” I added. Dusty and I were going to go on with Vixen.
It was rather late. But plenty of places would be open after, because quite a few party-goers would want a bite before heading to bed and doing it all again tomorrow.
Dusty’s label had arranged for a private dinner as a celebration of our onstage wedding and for how well our song was doing.
Carlos' friends that were here have been invited, as had my family, along with Vixen, Ava and her pack, and some others.
Dusty put his arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder. I was still wearing the wedding dress.
We watched as Vixen welcomed everyone and started her set.
“There are so many incredible musicians here at this festival, including some that I count as good friends. I’m not sure if you were here for the previous set for BroKen, but I’d like to welcome him and his incredibly talented mate back onto the stage,” Vixen said.
Dusty squeezed my hand. “Are you ready?”
We went onstage and performed the version of our song that the three of us had sung on stage at Winter-Fest. As the song finished, the two of them went into one of their songs and I left the stage for the green room.
Kace handed me a bottle of water. “You are incredible. Your voice is made for places like this.”
“Music festivals?” My eyebrows rose as I took a sip.
“Beautiful outdoor spaces, filled with happy people as you sing under the starlight.”
“Your theater kid is showing.” I shook my head.
Kace laughed. “But of course.”
Dusty joined me and gave me a sweaty kiss. “Why, Mrs. Woodrow-O’Halloran, how are you on this fine evening?”
I pushed him back. “You’re sweaty.”
He still wore his hat and bow tie.
Bailey joined us and he recorded a little video for his fans.
Dusty took my hand. “Shall we go back to the dressing room and change before we head over for the dinner?”
“I’d like that very much.” I wanted to get out of this dress, and we had a little time.
We went into a small dressing room. Finally, completely alone, I pushed him against the wall and captured his mouth with mine, trying to pour everything I felt into the kiss and through our bond.
Fiona had saved my life. Dusty had shown me how to live it properly. The two of them meant everything, but at this moment, it was me and him.
I felt like he got neglected a little bit with all the wedding and baby planning. He had been a huge help and not only starting to assemble the nursery, but making sure Fiona didn’t take everything over.
More love came back from him.
“I love you so much, Mo Ghrá,” I whispered.
“Me, too. Can I show you?” he murmured back.
My eyes met his. “I’d like that very much.”
In a quick motion, he flipped me so that my back was to the door. This was not the first time we fucked up against the door in his dressing room. Most of the time it was me hunting him down after a job because he was close enough, was safe, and wouldn’t ask too many questions.
It felt right to do this now.
“You are so fucking gorgeous.” He kissed me long and deep.
“You're not so bad yourself Mr. Woodrow-O’Halloran.” I kissed him back. My grandpa was quite amused by the fact that Dusty really wanted my last name. I’m sure it would annoy my parents.
Hiking up my dress, he pulled off my panties. I stepped out of them in my gold heels. These were the same gold heels that I'd worn that night. I brought them back because they fit well and were extremely comfortable.
I’d worn a different gold dress tonight, one I’d chosen shopping with Fiona. I’d wear it again when I married Fiona in the castle.
I put my arms around his neck, pulling him in for a kiss.
Undoing his belt, he pushed down his pants and got his cock out of his boxer briefs.
“You know how hot it was being up there on stage with you?” He breathed.
“I was up there with you, it was quite warm.” I smirked.
“Oh, so that’s how it’s going to be?” His nose touched mine.
“I’ve always been this way.” I kissed him back. “Fuck me please, Mr. Husband.”
“Absolutely, Mrs. Wife.” Taking his cock in his hand, he slid it inside me. His hands entwined in mine. He held them up over my head and started to thrust.
I sucked in a breath. It always felt so good when he entered me, and he always managed to get all the right spots.
Amusement came through the bond from Fiona. I’m sure she knew exactly what we were doing.
All I got from Dusty was love and I sent it back. He pressed his forehead to mine, eyes half-closed as he impaled me over and over again, one hand letting go and finding my clit.
“You are one of the best things to ever happen to me. I’m so glad that you decided to try something new, like love an alpha,” he breathed.
“Thank you for giving me another chance,” I replied as pleasure built inside me.
His balsam and orange scent flared and I got so much desire and lust and love and arousal from him and his pheromones that I came, sucking in a breath as my pussy muscles spasmed around him and he came inside me.
Pinning me to the door with his body, his head rested on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him.
“I love you.” My eyes closed as he stroked my hair.
“You are everything. You, Baby Lovely, and the pack.”
Someone thumped on the door.
“Are you done fucking? You should probably put some clothes on.” Fiona yelled.
“Hold on to your tits, we’ll be there eventually,” I yelled back playfully.
We cleaned up and got changed. Though he still wasn’t wearing a shirt.
We grabbed our things and he texted Kace that they could take everything back.
I held out my hand. “Ready?”
“Always.” He took my hand.
Someone banged on the door again.
I opened it. “I told you to hold your fucking tits.”
Fiona grinned. “I want you to hold mine.”
Laughing, I grabbed them. “Better?”
“Much. Ready?” she asked.
“We are.” I nodded. I looked at the rest of the pack. “Are you ready?”
Carlos slung an arm around my shoulder. “We’re ready. Let’s go eat.”
“Yes, let’s go.” Dusty jumped on his back and smacked his ass.
Making horse sounds, Carlos galloped out of the greenroom.
Yes, this was my pack. My chaotic beautiful pack.
Fiona hopped on Hale’s back, and they raced out of the stage area as Vixen finished her set.
I sighed as I increased my pace, glad I’d changed out of the heels.
They were going to keep me very busy–and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
