Of course the man I plan to murder would situate himself on the roof of this fucking building. And now, because of that, I have to climb fifteen flights of iron stairs quietly, all while keeping my fucking breathing under control. Except my lungs feel like they’re about to explode.
“Fuck this bullshit,” I growl on a whisper. “Whoever invented stairs, I’m gonna end their fucking lineage.”
This asshole motherfucker better be up here or I swear to Satan himself I’ll end it all.
Because there is no way I’m walking back down those treacherous stairs for at least another hour.
I squat down as soon as I reach the final flight of stairs. Taking slow, calculated breaths, I focus on the need to calm my breathing and heart rate down as quick as I can.
All I need to do, is get up there without him seeing me, and I’ll be fine.
Slowly, I reach for the zipper on the right side of my backpack, pulling the silencer free.
I twist the silencer to the edge of my firearm and secure it in place before gripping the yellow handle of the police-issue taser that I moved to the back of my jean’s waistband.
Once my breathing has gone back to normal, I peek over the edge of the broken-down granite leading to the roof, noticing Will pacing back and forth.
A Sniper rifle clutched to his chest as though he was born with it.
Luckily, my father hunts, so I know my way around guns and rifles.
And at this kind of close range, it’s useless.
Standing from my crouched position, I gradually move from my hiding spot, placing one foot in front of the other. I can’t have him see me before I electrocute him with fifty-thousand volts, but also, I can’t have him falling over the edge of the building and to his death. That’s no fun at all.
Hopefully the others are right on schedule with subduing their targets within the walls and I won’t have to worry so much about keeping him quiet.
Raising both my hands, I rest my finger on the trigger and smirk before throwing a gentle whistle his way.
The instant Will spins on his heel, I wink, before squeezing the trigger and sending every volt of electricity the gun holds, running through his body.
And only when I think he’s had enough, do I pop my finger from the trigger.
Smacking the palm of my hand against his cheek, Will’s eyes widen in shock, darting around before finally focusing back on me.
“Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey.” I snort at the ridiculousness of my statement. “I have things to get done, and I don’t have time to fuck about waiting while you catch up on your beauty sleep.”
Will thrashes at my feet, but he doesn’t get too far, what with his arms and legs hog-tied behind him—looking around frantically in search of someone to save him.
“It’s just me and you up here, dipshit.” Squatting down beside him, I pull out the plastic sheeting. Grabbing the corners, I shake it out and lay it next to him. Smiling when I face him again. “Wouldn’t want to make a mess up here. I hate cleaning.”
“Mmfm!” he cries out behind the large red ball gag in his mouth. The plastic muffling his words—not that I care about what he has to say.
“Frightening when you’re in the position you’ve had so many other women in before this, isn’t it?”
I move to his left side, squatting down and reaching below his back and rolling him onto the plastic.
The crackling sound it makes only serves to excite me further, knowing what’s to come.
Once I’ve positioned him right where I want him—in the middle of the synthetic tarping—I crouch down, sitting on his chest.
“Mmfm! Mmmfm!”
I roll my eyes, pulling the knife from the sheath attached to my thigh and groaning.
“I’m not that heavy, and I find it quite rude you would insinuate I am.
Anyway…” I wave my hand dismissively between us and place the hilt of the knife in my mouth while unbuckling his cargo pants.
“Considering everything you’ve done recently, I figured I’d make this as painful as I possibly can, because why not. ” I shrug nonchalantly.
Dragging his trousers and tighty-whities down as far as I can, I chuckle silently at the size of his puny cock.
“No wonder you’re such an asshole, if you have to wake up with that every day. I’m a woman and my dick is bigger than yours.”
Raising my hand, I thrust downwards, stabbing Will directly in the genitals.
Over and over again with unyielding force.
His muffled screams of agony do nothing to attract the attention of anyone else in the vicinity, and the more they turn from deep wails to high-pitched squeals…
the broader I smile. Blood spurts from every direction, coating my hands with sticky red fluid.
I watch as tears seep from his eyes, and his cries for help become more subdued, weaker.
Everything about this man and his friends disgusts me.
And the fact that I’m lucky enough to torture him like this while he’s still awake fills me with a kind of joy I never knew existed.
I wrap my fingers around his mutilated cock and tear it from the small fibrous tissue that keeps it attached, yanking it free from his groin.
Will’s eyes begin to flutter, telling me he’s well on his way to death… or at least passing out.
“Oh, no you don’t,” I snort, unlatching the ball gag from behind his head and tossing it to the side. “Not before you choke on this!” I snarl. Thrusting his severed cock into his mouth and forcing it all the way down the back of his throat.
In a final bid to survive in his very last moments, he thrashes and fights with what little energy he has left.
Pressing my hands to my knees, I push to stand and take the small bottle of lighter fluid from the side of my bag and squirt the contents all over him.
It’s then that I smile, taking in the scene before me, and pull the lighter from my pocket, striking it to ignite the flame.
“Burn in pieces, cunt.” I smile sweetly before tossing the lighter onto his chest. A loud whoosh forces me back from his body the moment the flames engulf him.
His garbled screams are unrelenting, piercing the space around us as gooseflesh prickles my skin, making the hairs on my arms stand at attention.
The plastic tarping singes and hisses while it burns.
Will’s once-white flesh turns bright red, blistering while the fire continues to scorch it, his body finally halting of all movement while the flames crack and pop in front of my eyes.
The walkie-talkie attached to my waist cracks with static, and I pull it in front of me.
“Paz?”
“I’m here,” I respond instantly to my sister, not taking my eyes off the charred body, amber fire still roasting Will’s carcass. “Are the others subdued?”
“Obviously,” she snorts.
“I’ll be down in a bit, getting up those stairs killed me.” Nora chuckles as I step back from the body, taking a seat on the wall at the edge of the roof. “Oh, and just so you know, charred human flesh really does smell like bacon.”
