Chapter 23 The Bracelet

Fu family's people quickly dealt with the kidnappers.

The bodyguard told me, "Young Master Fu, the police are on their way."

I lay in the ambulance and hummed. "Remember to tell my father they injured me."

I laughed loudly at those unlucky bastards. "If you knew what kind of man my father is, you would regret provoking me."

Chu Qingyun stayed by my side, holding my uninjured hand.

He was still wearing the bracelet I had given him.

"Why didn't you press it when you were in danger?"

"I did not want to drag you in."

I told him he was sick. "If anything happened to you I would feel worse."

He looked at me and nodded gently, then remembered something and asked, "Why did your people set up an ambush on the fourth floor in advance?"

"Because I saw your location drifting farther and farther. Then I realized you had been kidnapped. You were in the car at the time. Ramming the car to save you might have hurt you, so I calculated their likely stopping point was that factory and had people ambush ahead."

"You saw my location drifting? How?"

My gaze fell on the bracelet on my wrist. Only then did he make a sound of understanding. "This is for tracking me?"

I narrowed my eyes and thought for a moment. "Yes. If you dislike it you can throw it away." I would simply do something elsewhere.

He thought about it and finally shook his head. "It's nothing. I only go to school every day. I won't go anywhere. If you want to watch, then watch."

I pulled his fingertips over and kissed them. Chu Qingyun liked me too.
