Chapter 1 Rowdy #3

I cooked a quick meal because I knew that once JJ’s little greedy ass woke up, he would be fussing to eat.

I reluctantly fed Diamond’s annoying ass too.

Trell and I spent the night smoking and plotting.

That was my boy, and I wanted to tell him what was on my mind, but I decided to take what Moni had told me to the grave.

Not knowing how I would deal with the shit, I was just gon’ handle it like a man.

Since I got the news about Moni and Jakari, it had been on my mind to take that nigga’s bread and still kill his ass, along with killing his talking ass baby momma. I just didn’t want their son growing up in the system because I knew what it did to young black men, so I was on the fence.

The next morning, I woke up and decided that I would make that bitch ass nigga Jakari sweat a little.

I wasn’t about to call him until way later.

I had to make his mind wander. Trell was on whatever time I was on, so he agreed.

We had our people following Jakari for the past few days, so we knew his every move.

We also set shit up to have men in place when the exchange went down, just to be on the safe side.

When my men reported back, they said that Jakari had been making all kinds of moves and making major money over the past forty-eight hours.

That’s what I liked to hear. This nigga was really a standup guy when it came to his family.

It seemed that he would do whatever it took to get them back.

That was admirable. He just needed to know if he wanted to keep them safe, he needed to make smarter choices moving forward.

Once I woke Diamond up, I brought JJ into the room with her.

I untied her and let her spend time with her baby.

Not seeing him was hard for her, and I just wanted to be a little nicer to the bitch today.

We didn’t know how shit was gone end for her ass.

I told her that she could leave the room and fix them some breakfast. It was a lot of microwaveable foods in the kitchen for her to cook.

I didn’t trust her ass around the stove.

“I want you to understand that if you try anything funny, it will be your last day on this earth. I’m gonna let you chill with JJ until it’s time for y’all to go. Get in the kitchen and fix y’all breakfast. I will carry him to his highchair,” I told her as I allowed her to leave the bedroom.

“If you gon’ kill me, just do the shit. I don’t like surprises. Why all of a sudden I can cook breakfast and roam free?”

Trell instantly intervened from the front room.

“You can roam free because he said so. If you try something fishy, I’m going to smoke you! Do what he said, shut the fuck up, and feed yo’ child while you still can!” Trell yelled.

I needed Trell to chill sometimes. That nigga was always in defense mode, no matter the situation.

Diamond breathing too hard was enough to set this nigga off.

After hearing her speak on why she hated Harmoni, now Trell really couldn’t stand her ass.

I shook my head as I motioned for her to get into the kitchen.

I kept a close ass eye on her because I knew she was grimy.

All the doors and windows were bolted. If she made one wrong move, it would definitely be her last. As I watched Diamond interact with her son and comfort him throughout the day, she earned a little of my respect back.

Her son was fussy due to being in the same space for days, and I understood that because I was ready to move around myself.

Had Jakari done shit the right way from jump, we wouldn’t be going through all this shit.

It was now after 6:00 pm, and the sun was starting to go down.

I felt like I had that nigga J on pins and needles long enough.

I also gave him a little extra time to come up with my bread because I was in a good mood.

While Trell kept an eye on Diamond, I stepped outside, dialed Jakari’s number, and waited for him to pick up.

“Hello?” he answered in a panicked tone.

“You got it all? If not, you know what time it is,” I spat.

“I got every dime, man. Please just give me my son back.”

“What about Diamond? You don’t want her back? She is a headache, so I don’t blame ya for that. Just say the word, and I’ll handle that for you. It’s just gon’ cost a lil’ mo’. I heard about that custody shit too. I can really make your problems go away,” I jokingly said, but I meant every word.

“You know what I mean. I want them both back like we agreed on. You thinking shit a game, but this my family’s lives that you playing with.”

“Bitch ass nigga, I don’t know shit! You better remember who the fuck you talking to and use your brain before you lose it. I’m the muthafuka with something you want, not the other way around!”

“You right, my dude. You got my son, and I’m on edge. I ain’t never begged a nigga for shit, but please don’t hurt my seed! That’s my lifeline, and if something happens to him, you really gon’ have to kill me,” J spoke.

“Say less because I just may take you up on that. Look, though, I’m finna give you the Lo, and I need you to have my money and come alone.

I know you’re at yo’ trap off Spencer Street with five other niggas right now.

Don’t try shit, ’cause you won’t make it out alive.

I’m gonna have my niggas trail you. It’s not that I don’t trust you, but yeah, I don’t trust yo’ ass. ”

“I’m not coming without my brother,” Jakari blurted.

“Not the brother’s keepers! That’s cool. If that makes you feel safe and secure, bring that nigga.” I laughed.

I shot him the address and ended the call.

I then called my people who were on his trail and told them to keep an eye out and follow them straight to the cabin.

Before we disconnected the call, they informed me that he was getting into his car with a buff nigga, and they had two duffle bags.

I went back inside and told Trell it was go time.

I tied Diamond and JJ up and sat them in the front room to wait for the exchange to go down.

“If you wanna get the bread and still smoke that nigga, we can. I didn’t wanna mention it, but he fucked yo’ girl!

Not only did he fuck yo’ girl, but he started a war against you for not knowing that was his territory.

That could have been settled like men, but he wanted to send a message.

Now, you can send that nigga one right back.

I’m telling you now, it’s not safe to leave that nigga alive, especially after you done snatched his son,” Trell suggested.

I told him that I wanted to stick to the plan ’cause I was a man of my word.

He now knew what I was capable of, he’d be a fool to try me again.

I know for a fact his bitch ass ain’t got nine lives.

Now, I would patiently wait for this nigga to pull up with my bread.

Part of me prayed that he would try something stupid, so I could have a reason to off him.

Jakari said he was bringing his brother like I wouldn’t make them niggas have a double funeral of I had to. I never gave a fuck.
