“So, are you going to tell me what happened with Chaz and what’s going on with the three of them?
” Kameron points to where all six of the guys are sitting by the fireplace in the private dining room, having their after-dinner drinks and trying their hardest to carry on conversations without looking at us, but failing.
“You have a hickey the size of Texas on your neck.” I reach for my neck, wondering which guy put it there.
“I was just kidding.” She snorts. “But you really are having sex with them, aren’t you? ”
Unable to hide how happy I am, I nod. “I am.” She scowls, and I see my protective sister trying to break free. “I’m happy, Kameron. The three of them make me very happy.” When she doesn’t look convinced, I add, “They make me as happy as your guys make you, and you haven’t known them very long.”
“I’ve known Ledger, Bryer, and Colsen a lot longer than you’ve known Benton, Jefferson, and Mitchell.”
“True.” I concede. “But you know the feeling you get when you're around Ledger, Colsen, and Bryer.” A dreamy smile crosses her face. “That’s how Benton, Jefferson, and Mitchell make me feel. I felt it the moment they offered me a ride when my car broke down. It was the same feeling I’ve been chasing for years with other guys, but could never find. ”
“If you truly feel that way about them, then I support you.”
I don’t hesitate with my answer. “I do.”
“Okay, well, since that’s settled, tell me about Chaz.”
I fill her in on what happened with Chaz and his mom, making sure not to leave out any details. “So that’s how I ended up here.”
“I’m going to kill Chaz and his mother.” Kameron looks madder than I’ve ever seen her.
“You’ll have to stand in line,” Benton says, wrapping his arms around me from behind. The guys were all so quiet, I missed them joining us.
“It’s probably for the best that the three of you have a turn first, because when I’m done with them, there will be nothing left.”
“Sexy. I didn’t know our doctor was so bloodthirsty." Bryer pulls Kameron into his arms for a kiss, and it just feels natural that we are all here like this.
“Alright, you’ve had a long day. It’s time to go home.” Brenton says as we say our goodbyes.
Home.
I like the sound of that.
