Prologue

The Graves Motorcycle Club is all about brotherhood and integrity. The members who make up this club have gotten to the point where everyone feels like family. This is so important because it ensures everyone feels wanted and has a spot within this brotherhood.

When I first joined the club and became president, I always wondered how the club could get involved in good within our community.

It took a little time trying to come up with the best plan, but we decided to be out where our presence is known.

We are able to provide gifts to children in need, food for those who are homeless, and a bar where people can come together to congregate.

The Barrel House bar is one that the club built as an area where people can come to meet others, celebrate milestones, and, most importantly, seek a safe haven if they need it.

There are members of the club who hold different positions within the bar who can help notice red flags about people as they present.

This helps to ensure people know they have a brotherhood that is willing to help if they need it.

The bartender I hired is amazing at getting the women connected with me if they are in any type of danger.

I welcome people with open arms and ensure I can get them to safety whenever they need.

Some of the partners who come in might never see another day in their lives, while others are presented with a decision to leave town and never come back.

Making the decision of who gets what treatment is always the hardest, but some red flags shine more than others.

I know I wouldn't trade this undercover mission and side to our club for anything else.

One wrong move, then they'll see the beast inside of me that I try to keep hidden.

There have been some women who walk in here who leave with a better life, and I know this is one of my callings to do.

Protecting those who need help the most is what I'll continue to do until the day I die.
