CHAPTER 17
At this moment, inside Cruella's subspace, the five heroes were fighting nonstop with the monsters for a few months now.
They were exhausted and didn't get enough sleep for fear that the monsters would make a sneak attack.
The monsters here were teaming each other and attacking them at any chance. Sometimes, they also besiege them. As a result, they were heavily injured afterward.
What's more frustrating is that the monsters will be revived after a few hours of being killed by them. They were so vexed they were about to vomit blood.
However, despite all that, they were also overjoyed because their status improved by leaps and bounds like they were cheating!
"Ah, I'm so exhausted!" Joshua lay on the grass while biting an apple. He was slightly injured.
"Master is so cruel!" Conan shed crocodile tears. He also suffered some injuries and his body was now full of scars.
"Ah, I didn't sign up for this!" Kenneth also whined while eating some unknown fruits. It was delicious so Kenneth didn't care what fruit it was as long as it was edible. He just climbed a tree and plucked some fruit.
"Tch. Master's training is so harsh!" Lexus stated but with a smile on his lips. Well, he was happy because his time here was not boring not like in the outside world.
"It's enjoyable training here. There was not a time when I got bored. The monsters here also improved their strength like us so it's so challenging every day!" Dylan said and stood up while stretching. His body was aching to fight some monsters again.
He saw that some monsters were revived again. It was only four hours since they took a rest from slaughtering quite a lot of monsters.
Dylan was training so hard and his combat skills also improved so much that other monsters feared him.
After a few months of training, the result was apparent through the current appearance and different aura of the five heroes. The scars all over their bodies are evidence of their strenuous training.
After getting enough rest, Dylan and the other heroes entered the forest to continue slaughtering monsters.
Growls and explosions echoed throughout the forest. The fight inside was so intense.
Every hero was surrounded by monsters yet they were as cool as a cucumber. They fought bravely and fiercely, minding their own business.
They also suffered some injuries in the process but they didn't mind. Surprisingly, their severe injuries will be healed after some time although it leaves some scars.
Time flew so fast and the end of their training was near. Their bodies undergo drastic changes. They became muscular and suave.
And there was an air of confidence around them.
They look so mature and more handsome.
Well, they stayed for five years in this subspace already.
They changed so much in these five years and even they couldn't believe their luck.
And now, the five heroes were looking for their master's baby wolf. Surprisingly, they didn't see the baby wolf in this subspace, not even once.
They doubted if their master was pulling their legs.
However, the five heroes were baffled at the sudden changes in the monsters' behavior. They didn't attack them and made way instead.
It made them confused.
Since the monsters weren't attacking, they let their guard down a little and they looked like they were strolling in a park. They seem so laid back.
Suddenly, they felt a suffocating aura ahead of them but immediately vanished.
Their eyes widened when a small figure jumped in front of them.
They saw hearts at the sight of a cute baby wolf. It also has similar fur to their master. A silver-red fur!
And it also has striking red eyes similar to their master.
This pup is like a mini version of their master!
The baby wolf jumped into Dylan's arms and licked his face adorably. Dylan was stunned at first but quickly recovered. He chuckled and rubbed the baby wolf's fur to his heart's content.
"It's so soft," Dylan mumbled and his eyes sparkled.
"Ah! So cute!" the appearance of the adorable baby wolf struck the other heroes' hearts. They also wanted to pet it.
However, when they tried petting it as Dylan did, the baby wolf snarled at them instead which made Dylan gloat and look so smug.
"Ah, it's unfair!" Joshua and the other pouted and Dylan laughed.
"Hmph, I don't like you, perverts!" the baby wolf suddenly spoke condescendingly and the heroes staggered in shock. Even Dylan was speechless.
So the baby wolf can also talk!
But Dylan was happy in his heart. "What's your name?" Dylan asked.
"I'm Elle!"
"On behalf of Mama, I congratulate you for completing the training! Okay, it's time for you to leave. I will open the door now!" Elle didn't beat around the bush and quickly opened the exit of the subspace.
The five heroes notice that the monsters are looking at them from afar. They never step out of the forest like they were afraid of something.
Seeing the monsters behave that way, the five heroes smiled and waved at the monsters and they received a couple of growls from them like telling farewell or cursing them.
Elle did something and the heroes suddenly understood the monster's words.
"Farewell!"
"Please don't come back again!"
"We had enough!"
"We don't want to die anymore!"
"Goodbye and don't come back!"
The five heroes didn't know whether to laugh or cry. They didn't understand the monsters' feelings when they went on a slaughter spree until now.
In the end, they all laughed and left the subspace with a smile.
However, they didn't notice that they brought Elle with them.
Only when the door closed that Dylan notice he was still holding Elle.
"Oh, no." Dylan blurted out while looking at Elle who was looking around their surrounding with curiosity. Dylan felt troubled and the thought of his master getting furious made him nervous.

A few days later, Cruella with Sera and Lucy arrived at Sun City. Along the way, they slay some monsters and take the valuable materials to be sold later.
Well, Cruella wanted to buy clothes for them especially Lucy who looked like a beggar because of her rag-like dress. She was her sister now so she wanted to pamper her.
But when they reached the entrance, the guards asked for their ID. Lucy has no identity so Cruella was quite worried.
Cruella revealed her S+ Rank Adventurers identity card and the guards were stupefied. They quickly straightened themselves and smiled like nothing happened.
Just like that, the guards let them enter without any more questions.
"You're amazing, big sister!" Lucy praises and Sera gives Cruella a thumbs up.
"By the way Sera, I'll call you Evangeline in public. You are in Evangeline's body and she's also an adventurer like me. She's an A-Rank adventurer. When we go to the guild later, you have to show your identity card."
Sera nodded and took out Evangeline's adventurer's card from the storage ring. She just noticed that she had two storage rings and it also happened that she saw the contents of one of the rings and her jaw dropped.
"Cruella... how wealthy is Evangeline?" Sera mumbled in a daze.
Cruella was confused and she saw a new ring on Evangeline's middle finger. "I don't recall Evangeline having that ring?"

"I'm dead serious!" Sera uttered still in disbelief. She had never seen such treasures in her life.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go exchange some for money and shop for clothes and then look for a hotel!" Cruella cackled happily.
"Ha-ha! Evangeline might have found some treasures! We're so lucky!" Cruella grins from ear to ear. Of course, what exactly is on her mind are the images of cookies and other sweet delicacies! Even the thought of them made Cruella's mouth water.
And the thought of cookies reminds her of Irene, the receptionist in Crowest Adventurers Guild.
'Ah! How could I forget such an important matter? I made Irene promise to bake some cookies for me after the war! I missed out on such an opportunity! What a shame!'
Cruella facepalmed inwardly and pouted her lips. "What a shame!" She sighed and pouted more.
"What's wrong?" Sera asked, confused.
"Nothing!" Cruella shrugged it off.
Sera merely shrugged her shoulders as well as she looked around. She was curious about how humans grow rapidly all these years. How long has it been? She remembered almost destroying the world before but how come it looks like nothing happened?
However, she noticed that there were not many people around and she could sense the anxiousness in the air that engulfed the city.
Cruella also notices the strange environment. Then she asked a middle-aged man in the stall who sells fruits.
"Excuse me, may I ask a few questions?"
"Oh, of course, you may, my lady!" the man ogled at Cruella's beauty. He was completely enthralled at the otherwordly beauty of the maiden in front of him.
"Is something happening in the city? The air seems gloomy. Can you tell us why?"
"Oh, didn't you hear the news about the appearance of the Great Destroyer?"
"Huh?" Cruella was stunned and glanced at Sera.
